(English below) Heimilislegt, þrifalegt, herbergin okkar voru rúmgóð, rúmin frábær, við sváfum vel, baðherbergin voru ágæt. Eldhúsið er lítið, en bara fínt fyrir morgunmatinn sem við tókum með okkur. Þarna er allt í næsta húsi eða rétt hjá: Kaupfélagið, bensínstöðin, heimsfræga sundlaugin, fallegi gamli bærinn, veitingahúsið, Vesturfarasetrið (safnið). Þegar við gistum þarna var mjög friðsælt og notalegt þarna. Við fengum mikið fyrir verðið, ljómandi góð gisting á góðu verði. Gætið að opnunartímum staða á Hofsósi, þetta er fallegt en lítið þorp svo stundum eru opnunartímar takmarkaðir. Við getum ekki verið ánægðari, takk fyrir góða gistingu.
Feels like home, clean, our rooms had good space, the beds were great and we slept well, the bathrooms were nice. The kitchenette was good for the breakfast we took with us. The grocery store/gas station/tourist attraction swimming pool/little old town/two restaurants/museum is just next door. It was very peaceful and nice when we stayed there. We got great value for the price. Just check on opening hours of places before you come, realize that Hofsos is a little village. We could not be happier, thank you for a very lovely stay.

If you come to Hofsós it is because you want to enjoy the Hofsós pool! This place is conveniently located at about 200m from it. The host was very kind to let us check out late (2PM) so we could enjoy the pool in the morning. Great value for money! CON: The kitchen was under equipped (enough for a light breakfast).

We stayed one night, found a pretty good guesthouse. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It also has a small kitchen where you can make your meals. Opposite you have a supermarket and gas station. Have you got Wi-Fi. Hofsos, a town not to be missed. Also its pool is spectacular, incredible views.
