Very clean hotel situated in the middle of nearby restaurants and shops.
The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent staff. The location of this hotel was very convenient to excursion pick ups and the bus lines around Iceland. It is also easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. Our room was very comfortable.

I stayed with my husband and two friends in the Kvosin Downtown Hotel in March 2018, and we were so impressed with not only our room, but also the wonderful service. The team at the front desk was incredibly pleasant, offering us advice on where to go for breakfast and sightseeing, and holding our bags when we were too early to check-in. They prepared our room early so that we could get in and rest up, and the next morning, we were met with free sweets in the lobby; when we checked out, the concierge taught us a few key phrases in Icelandic and called us a cab. I would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome boutique hotel right in the middle of Reykjavik — two minutes from bus stop 1 / city hall, which is amazing for all the trips you should attend Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!

This was a lovely hotel and the receptionist made us feel really welcome. It was such a quick visit due to having to fit in all cancelled trips from earlier in the week and we wished we could have stayed longer. We only stayed the one night (had previously stayed elsewhere) We had breakfast included and as we were catching the airport bus at 4am, they made us a pack up to take with us. Sadly we never tasted the proper breakfast. Rooms were really spacious and clean, shower was hot. Will return if we go to Reykjavik again.

A wonderfull experience. A large clean room. Beautifully styled. Very friendly guy at the reception. Great ambiance. We started a room on a small patio. It was very romantic. The bedroom was separate. The matrass was comfortable. Need I say more? We loved every minute of our stay so far.

Wow just wow. A hidden gem. Beautiful quant boutique hotel. Welco. E and service is second to none. Lovely personal touch with a hand written note congratulating us on our honeymoon. Helped with showing us where to go. Helped us book transfer to the airport. Rooms are small but perfect for a city break and location is excellent for doing this. Facilities in rooms are good with small kitchen and coffee machine. Bathroom and beds are lovely. Decor is fantastic too. Would I recommend to friends and family… hell yes. Would I come back again… definitely. Totally recommend this quirky cool boutique hotel. Fabulous. Made our stay.

Hotel is nice, staff is friendly, great location, stayed in a three bed apartment with full kitchen and two balconies. Coffee and pastries provided all day. Breakfast in the morning in the bar area is basic, no eggs/bacon etc. Mostly breads and cereals, some yogurt, cheeses, vegetables.

Very much enjoyed our stay with Kvosin Downtown Hotel. Great location, room and fab staff so helpful and friendly. Hope to return one day. Shirley and Stuart Hayden.

Great location — close to city centre. Nice apartments. Parking is the only issue.

Excellent boutique hotel. We were in a social suite which was perfect for a busy time in Iceland. Continental breakfast was fresh and tasty with range of great breads and fruits. Great hotel. If we ever return to Iceland we will return to this hotel. Fabulous downtown location.

Great Hotel! My girlfriend and I favorite hotel in iceland. Staff was amazing and super helpful. Room were large and will appointed. Bed was super comfortable. Its location was perfect. I cant say enough good things about this hotel and the staff.

Although the room was too small to be called a junior suite, I would definitely stay here again. Loved the location. Great friendly staff and beautiful weather really helped us enjoy our large terrace. Hearty breakfast to start the day.

We loved our stay at kvosin! We arrived at 5:30am and our room was still occupied, but they safely stored our luggage for us and promised that as soon as the guests in our room checked out, they would get our room ready immediately. They opened the breakfast service early and fed us all for free, even though we hadn't stayed the previous night. The location was perfect. We were able to exit the front door off the hotel, take a left and were immediately rewarded with a view of the ocean and mount Estes only a few blocks away. Or, take a right and there's city hall and the duck pond that reflects the beautiful view of the city's oldest and most beautiful homes and churches. The concierge staff was excellent and always friendly. They gladly helped us book or excursions to the blue lagoon and our horses and whales tour. They even ordered us a pizza from dominoes on a night we were all too exhausted to go out or cook. Our room was clean and bright. The shower was awesome, especially after a cold rainy day at Geysir or whale watching on the north Atlantic. Reykhevic is an expensive city to dine out in every day and being able to buy our own groceries and cook a few meals in the room saved us hundreds of dollars. Literally. Plus it gave us a chance to have a little taste of home cooking that we missed. We had a private balcony as well as a large, three tiered shared deck.

Good rooms, though overpriced, even for over-touristy Reykjavik. A good bar: a convenient location and a pleasant management.

Great hotel and staff! Perfect location just a few blocks from the City Center. No complaints. I would definitely staff here again and will recommend to anyone staying in Reykjavik.

Nice looking, but pretty loud due to location and other guests. A number of maintenance issues like missing screws in fixtures, and a balcony door that wouldn't close.

Perfect Hotel with home like amenities! Well mannered, helpful reception staff. Clean, comfortable, very modern rooms. Highly recommend for swift city center access. Great for individuals, couples & family.

This hotel was well appointed, and in a convenient location downtown. The front desk staff were very accommodating when we requested early check in. We enjoyed staying in the 'bigger' room, which had a kitchenette, living area, bathroom and bedroom. We would definitely stay again.

Se wemt to the blue lagoon and we were told that they were building a new hotel there, first five star hotel in Iceland, I think it should be the second since this one was so amazing. It had extremely kind staf who'd do anything you asked them to, no matter what, a beatufil room with modern cofeemaker and super fast internet connection, a spacious bathroom with hoy water with a high pressure, highly comfortable beds with amazing pillows. The breakfast was simply exquisite, it's a restaurantes right next to the hotel with a lot of variety and amazing food, including fresh fruit, high quality bacon and authentic Icelandic yoghurt. Outside the rooms, you can find areas to relax with comfortable couches and explendid views.

To all the staff at the Kvosin our time with you was fabulous everyone was so kind and thoughtful, the accommodation in the Biggest Room over looking the Cathedral was very well serviced and well designed. I wish I could keep this a secret. Suzanne Raymond 2-5 Feb 2015.
