The sign in was not a Hilton experience. He was rude and nit helpful at all. Also, a lady that was living fro a flight overseas, got double charged for drive to the airport because your staffs inability to set the correct time. It costed her 200$ extra.

The room was wonderful and the staff are very grateful.

When I tried to check in they told me due to health circumstances they were moving me to another hotel, not a Hilton. They said they tried to contact me but I don’t have any emails or any messages from them. People have mentioned that they have a poker tournament coming in so that’s why they were moving everybody so they could accommodate the tournament. In my opinion that’s bad business and no compensation for me.

My son forgot a quite big amount of money in his room and remembered only after we checked out and was about an hour's drive from the hotel. Our guide called the hotel, asked them to check, and, voila, the money was exactly where he said it was. Just because of that, I will recommend the hotel.

Yes I will recommend Hilton Reykjavik Nordica coz I love the place so quite and the Staff are so nice and very friendly. And also i'm one of the member of HILTON HOTEL that's why I will always come and stay whatever I want.

Could not have faulted this hotel. However have never been disappointed in any of Hiltons we have used… which are many… over years. From all level of staff from reception to bar/waiters and cleaners were amazing/helpful and appeared chatty and happy. Hotel spotless, food lovely, room spacious and very comfortable. Location ideal with bus stop right outside which was a 3/4 minute ride into town or 10/15 walk. Overall … fantastic.

The staff are so helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is excellent.
For me the only minus is that the rooms are too heated, and there is no fridge or milk, even though there are tea making facilities in the room. And the cups in the rooms are take away, not china.

One of the more pleasant hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. Friendly check in, they made me some dinner in the beautiful bar even though I arrived near 10PM. Modern very clean room (upgraded me), Wi-Fi worked, really comfortable bed, fabulous pillows and bedding. Breakfast the next morning at VOX was unbelievable with a staff clearly intent on making it a quality experience. Coffee / espresso available to go. Nice, spacious common areas. Not in the downtown tourist area but pretty close. Overall one of the best Hilton properties I have stayed at. Thank you to the staff.

Very nice place to relax after your active day in Reykjavík food is really tasty and staff members brilliant.

Room was clean, but small. Not overly modern. Location is about a one mile walk from the city center. On site parking is a plus. Room wasn’t ready upon arrival, but the pre checked us in which I thought would speed the process up when we returned. They had lost the info and had to do it again (or gave the room away?! ). Upon checkout, we had room charges on the room from when we weren’t there!

We stayed here in the past, but this visit was just for high tea. A bit pricey but worth it. Tasty sandwiches, cheeses and sweets, refillable tea & coffee. Friendly service in a cozy, attractive setting. Sorry we couldn't stay for happy hour!

I just hosted a medical convention at the Hilton Nordica for over 100 doctors and the meeting room area and room attendants were excellent. They have up-to-date AV equipment and the morning breaks were awesome. The hotel is very nice with a full bar and several common areas to meet friends. I highly recommend staying in an Executive Level room. Breakfast at the hotel is included and is marvelous and the Michelin recommended VOX restaurant was fabulous (and pricey-like everything else in Iceland). Finally, there are several places to eat next door and it is only a 15-20 minute flat walk to downtown and all the shops. Taxis are available if it’s cold or raining.
There is also free parking.

Cool place, watched some World Cup games on their projector while they served food to us right there! Staff was friendly and helpful but it was a little dark in the entire place. I guess that it the type of lighting and mood they are shooting for, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just not my thing personally.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Great location! I saw some people comment on how you can’t walk to anything and that’s not true. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk into “town” which is easy! Part of the experience here is exploring. We walked back on the harbor one evening. Parking is great and FREE! Grey Line tours will pick up and drop off here which was another plus. Oh, can’t forget to mention the awesome jelly beans in the lobby! Ha!

This is a standard large hotel. It's location must be geared towards business people as you can not walk to anything from here. Our tour company located us here. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very nice; it was included within our tour package. Our room was comically small as was the bathroom. I am guessing there are larger rooms. I cannot remember what floor we were on. If you are a tourist & want a Hilton hotel then I recommend the Hilton Canopy where we stayed while not on the tour.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean and very comfortable. We used the spa and the masseurs were great. Good location with a nice parking lot and close access to Downtown Reykjavik and the Golden Circle. Would absolutely stay here again.

This Hilton is a little old, but the overall maintenance is good, the rooms do not have too much gorgeous decoration, warm wooden flooring so that friends who come to Iceland will have a warm feeling, of course, the hotel mainly bought its scenery, curtains as a open view of the Icelandic mountains, whether day or night to present a different scenery, During the day can be seen clear blue sky and white clouds, careful blue water is like a Wonderland dream, administrative Lounge is also in the high-rise layer, in and out of the use of room card mechanism, the same sell is its scenery, lounge seats are not too much space is not too big, but the overall design is very home feeling
You know, prices in Iceland are very expensive.

Beautiful hotel within 15 minutes walking distance from Reykjavik city centre. The room was spacious with a large bathroom and spectacular ocean view. The breakfast is great with the possibility to choose between sweet and/or salty with various beverages up to the classic cappuccino. The staff is attentive and friendly. The SPA has three bathtubs with different temperatures, sauna and Turkish bath. Possibility to eat at the Vox restaurant on the ground floor.

The staff here is phenomenal. The views of the city are fantastic. The spa is top notch. The food and drinks for breakfast and pre-dinner in the Executive Lounge are excellent. Absolutely 5 stars all the way. Would recommend to anyone and everyone traveling to Reykjavik, Iceland.

We loved staying at the Hilton Nordica! The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast there was the best we had in the entire country. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel offers many nice amenities. It is very cosy and clean, As you would expect from a Hilton Hotel. It is located in a great location away from the noise of the Downtown area and yet not too far from the centre. I really enjoy my stay, I liked the food — breakfast at The Vox restaurant was spectacular. The room was great and the staff was helpful and kind. I would recommend staying at the Hilton Nordica while visiting Reykjavik!

This has to be one of the nicest hotels I have ever had the pleasure staying in. Everything is so nice and the staff on the front desk are very helpful. The Vox restaurant for breakfast is a pleasure to go to as anything you want is here.
My room and bathroom are brilliantly clean and the bed couldn’t be more comfortable.
There is a bus stop across the road for a fast 5 minute journey into the city center, or a 10 minute walk on a nice day.
I don’t believe there is a nicer hotel in Reykjavik I could have stayed in.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. There is free parking and many Fastffood restaurant nearby. The hotel was very clean and was just right for us.

I stayed here mainly because they have a concierge lounge and I felt this could help offset the cost of dining out if I can just have breakfast here. I like they had happy hour so free drinks and food too so it actually helped for dinner sometimes too. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I love the hotel has room service and it was quite tasty for a hotel. The location is why I only gave it 4 stars. It boasts being walkable to downtown but downtown is actually more of like a 20+ minute walk. I took the bus which is right outside the hotel. Excursion pick up and drop off was easeful and the staff was helpful with questions. There are two restaurants and bars inside so for bad weather days, staying in isn’t such a bad thing. They have blackout curtains which is also helpful for their no sunset nights lol.

Overall great hotel of Hilton standard. Staff service was welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms are cosy, contemporary and comfortable. The communal areas from lounge, gym and restaurant are well kept and presentable. Only let down was the previously free bus shuttle to town offered by Hilton was removed during our time there (December).

Great hotel. Though our room was small, it was nevertheless comfy! The staff was very friendly, not to mention super witty and helpful. The hotel had a gym that was 24/7 which my husband couldn't get enough of. The lady at the front desk for the tours must have been tired seeing my face everyday to confirm if the northern lights tour was still happening on that day! Nevertheless, she was always available to provide information or help us reschedule. Would stay here again!

Beautiful property, excellent staff. Flights into Reykjavik arrive early morning, and the hotel was well prepared for the influx of luggage to store before our rooms were ready. The staff was very friendly and informative. Shopping and food is available on site. The rooms were a little small, but that's common for European properties. I would stay again.

I always felt safe, warm and taken care of. I forgot my cellphone on a table in the lobby came back for it about 5 minutes later and it was still there! The spa area was neat and clean and the employees were really nice. Will Definitely return.

No complaints about the hotel itself, but the location could be better. I would recommend the Canopy by Hilton in the city center. Nordica has a restaurant, bar, gym, and spa. The room was clean and modern. We had great views of the city from the 6th floor. The breakfast had a wide variety of food.

We had the best hotel experience of our lives. The service was incredible the whole time as we were delayed getting into Iceland. Once we arrived the staff had everything ready and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The hotel restaurant was really good and the hotel is a 5 minute drive from all the shopping and entertainment you need. We will be back soon to Iceland just because of this hotel. This Hilton property is the best place that we could have stayed at. It is located walking distance (15-20 min) from the main attractions like the shopping mall, restaurant areas, the main church in Reykjavík, the ocean, even an an apple store!
The rooms are very nice and spacious, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. And best of all, the executive lounge provides a great view of the city and when it happens, the Northern Lights.
We will stay at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica again when we come back to Iceland.

The rooms were excellent and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the food at Vox was also great. The location is Central and easy walking to many sites including downtown.

Amazing breakfast, nice clean hotel, everything working well. However, room was rather small with only shower and no tub. Small bed with the smallest cover I've ever had in a hotel — it barely covers the bed. Expected more from a four star hotel.

Great view of Esjan. Very fine business lounge. Unfortunately in late March, with the construction of the windows in the rooms, it became quite difficult to sleep as the room was constantly heated, and for safety reasons the window doesn't open more than a few inches. As most likely know, heat rises, and the downward opening in the window unfortunately didn't work as a heat exchange and it thus never was below 35°C… It feels more like an oven and as you might imagine it would be better to sleep atop towels than the beds…

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. The room was the perfect temperature, comfortable and clean. Staff spoke perfect English and were all very polite. Transfers to and from the airport and tours were via a local tour company direct to/from the door. There were more than enough options at breakfast and the restaurant has many options for either lunch or dinner if you wish to eat there too. Reservations are recommended for evening dining as this is a very popular restaurant. We experienced an issue with the fridge in our room and staff instantly took a look. As the problem could not be fixed, we were offered a change of room, two free drinks in the bar and a complimentary plate of fruit deserts! The only slight negative is the location if you wish to visit central Reykjavik — this is a 30-40 minute walk which was fine for us in the lovely weather, but I can imagine for those with limited mobility or in the winter this might be an issue.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The hotel was beautiful and modern — super comfortable main lobby and bar with two fireplaces. Best breakfast buffet that I have even seen came with our room every morning. The room was small but just perfect as the layout made sense and was functional — most certainly the best room I've ever stayed in while traveling in Europe! The staff at the hotel was extremely nice and sincere — from the front desk with their amazing recommendations for restaurants, tours, even suggesting the exact time for the bus we needed to get back to the airport in the most efficient amount of time — to the servers both at the buffet and on our last night dining in the high-end Vox restaurant. 5 stars all around and I look forward to returning!

Conveniently located. Had a beautiful view of the water and mountains. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and the water great for drinking and cleaning. Good water pressure too. Didn't use the Spanish but the happy hour in the bar area was great and the breakfast had the best, freshest, and broadest of choices compared to Foss and others in the area. Julie Filice.

Stayed here for a week vacation. Room was nice and clean, checkin and checkout was quick and efficient. Staff was helpful and friendly to all questions. Provides complimentary Wi-Fi and the airport shuttles pick up and drop off here (the shuttles do cost money though). I stayed in March without a car and walked around for most excursions. It might not exactly be the usual walking distance but for me it was good to start the day with a walk. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel. Depending on the room you can get real good views over the area.

Comfy room. Bit of a walk into the main area. Pizza Hut downstairs is expensive.

Great hotel! Tires pick you up at the lobby, and there is a staff member there to help you arrange the tours you want. In house restaurant and bar, as well. The breakfast was good, and covered foods for a variety of national/cultural preferences. The bar had plenty of Icelandic beers to try. The room, while small, was very comfortable. Ask for the bay view, as it offers a stunning view of the mountains across the bay. Central Reykjavik is a bit of a hike from here, so be warned. The hotel will give you one of their bus passes for the duration of your stay, which lets you use the good public transit system.

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely get the package that include the executive lounge. You get free breakfast and in the evening free cocktails and finger food. Although it may be 2k from the city center, you get free bus pass to get to anywhere you need to go. I would definitely stay here again.

My fiancée and I stayed there last May. Wonderful hotel. Staff was fantastic, friendly, professional, and helpful. The staff even got us a special treat when they found out that my fiancée and I had just gotten engaged. Great location with easy access to the city center on foot, by taxi or by bus. Breakfast is very good, and offers lots of options. All tour operators come there. This hotel really made our experience in Iceland a wonderful one.

Wonderful hotel a bit outside of the city center — — though it is not far by car and there are many buses throughout the day. This Hilton is very modern and clean with all the necessary amenities. The room was a great size and we enjoyed two-full beds and a large bathroom. Check-in and check-out were seamless and the staff was extremely accommodating. I wish there wasn't a charge for the gym or spa but otherwise the hotel was great. The restaurants inside are a bit expensive so we opted to eat in the city center.

Flight from Iceland to Toronto was canceled so Icelandair booked this hotel for me on their expenses. Love it! So clean and staffs are so friendly.

Just came back from a great stay at the Hilton Reykjavic Nordica. The hotel itself was modern and clean, with very helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed for the little time that we were there (lots of tours and walking was done on this trip). We were North-facing with a wonderful view of the mountain range on the other peninsula. The hotel provides a complimentary bus pass which is a very welcome addition to your stay. If you will be staying here and have forgotten your travel adapter to plug into the European circle prongs, the hotel will happily loan you a set with a deposit on the room which is reimbursed upon their return. Certainly saved us! We only had one meal at the restaurant — breakfast buffet (only option) — which was tasty, but not worth the price of KR$3, 100. You are better off walking into the center of town and visiting one of the many cafes/restos where a nice viking-sized breakfast can be had for about KR$1, 800. Food in Iceland can be a bit pricey, but if you choose wisely you can find great meals on a budget. Some quick locales would be the Seabaron, Laundromat Cafe, and the Chaqwa Cafe. Overall we were very happy with our stay and are excited to re-visit beautiful Iceland in Summer.

This is hotel that me and my wife stayed at for our honeymoon. Luckily for us it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. My only regret is that we didn't have a north facing window so that we could see the midnight sun and the harbor. A bonus! in the restaurant downstairs there are just out of the local Culinary Institute that prepares meals that focus on modernizing Nordic Cuisine. Plus their breakfast is amazing ! eat here if you can.

Hotel location is good even though it is a little too far away from the city center to be walkable. I stayed for 4 nights and and it was a pleasant experience. The parking was right in front of the hotel and I could watch my car every day. Also to my great surprising it was free. Rooms were clean, neat and interesting furnished, and I felt comfortable. One of the strange but good things about the hotel was that you order at the bar and take your order to your table.
