Review of Ammos Apartments

Four of us from London (all males) stayed in Kavos from late June 2018 for 5 nights for a festival. The hotel/apartment was located in the heart of the strip within a min walk to the night life. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops around the apartment within walking distance. The apartment was clean and was located next to the sea and we had a sea view balcony room so it was really nice. In terms of the rooms they were quite basic and the shower/toilet was really small and quite outdated. It was impossible to shower without getting water everywhere. We had a Mosquito net for the balcony door but this was really useless as they managed to still get through and I have never been bitten so many times on holiday like Kavos. In terms of the basic necessities you get in a room we had a small fridge, kettle and a safe. Was disappointed to find out there was no ironing available anywhere in the apartment. In terms of the service and hospitality provided at the hotel/apartment I must say we found the owner or the person who runs the place quite rude and did not come across friendly under any circumstances. We had a few friends pop around to our hotel and stayed in the pool/bar area and they were almost forced to buy a drink regardless of them only waiting for a little bit. The rooms were not cleaned as much as we would have liked but managed to survive with one clean every two days and kept asking for new towels every other day. All in all it was a good holiday and we enjoyed it. I would recommend this place if they took on-board my feedback above with regards to better hospitality and quality of the rooms. Abz.
