Hotel

A small, cosy hotel right next to the main train station. Clean and well-kept rooms incl. Bathroom with shower. Rooms generally quiet. Young, friendly, always dedicated staff.

The only shortcoming:
No lift — abee where?
The hotel has 12 rooms, on each half floor there are 2 — yes, the whole house is not wider ;-)

All in all as described above just a small cozy hotel :-)

Delicious fresh breakfast buffet however, the bathroom was not really clean and bed would have 2. First to be purchased.

I stayed there for 3 nights and I booked the hotel based on the total score here. I did not have time to read the reviews. This is a small Hotel, has 4 floors with no elevator, there is no Lobby (if you are going to wait to catch your train like me, there is no place at Hotel to stay, and you must check out before 12:00), the breakfast is very basic (Maybe because it is not a big Hotel with a lot of guests), the rooms which are at the street side are a little noisy specially around 7:00 am, the reception is there only until 20:00-21:00 so if you need something like tea or coffee, need help or anything else, there is no body to help you. The blankets and the curtains are small! But this hotel has a very very friendly and helpful staffs, They do all their best for you to feel comfortable, they use all the capacity of the hotel to make it a better place to stay, I was really satisfied with the staffs. The rooms are big and very clean. The bathroom is clean too. And this Hotel is exactly near Hbf and Bus station so very easy to catch the buses and the train. So as a conclusion: This Hotel itself has some problems but the staffs and the manager are doing their bests to make it a better place and I was absolutely satisfied with their behavior. Unfortunately I did not have the time to take some pictures.

Well. The hotel has at least 4 floors, but no elevator. The room was clean, one of the two wings of the shower door but was not mounted. The room was sterile without pictures. A plus point is certainly the location right next to the train station. The breakfast was OK.

Clean hotel with dedicated staff. Good breakfast. Sadly, night's sleep was disrupted by celebrating football fans.

Modern large rooms with plenty of storage areas. Bath with stone floor and walk-in shower, also large. Desk area to work with. At night to the back quiet (at the front probably less). Good breakfast (various bread variety/rolls). Hotel very narrow (no elevator). Reception in the evening until 9pm. Young friendly staff. Like to come back.

Hotel is available for one two nights, e. G. For a training session, quite ok. However, it is very clairvoyant. Breakfast is adequate.

Most stairs to mount ever, no lift. No a/c, contrary to booking info, but large fan. Room is neat, spacious, fridge, no drinks, no kettle. Sat TV, very small. Plenty of sockets bedside. Not bad If you like a climb challenge with 50 pounds of baggage.

After the disappointing visit of 2015, it was a good decision to give the house another chance. This time, everything worked well in organisational terms. The rooms are very spacious and the breakfast really tasty! I was the only breakfast guest over Easter and it was amazing how lovingly everything was done for me alone! Also the location is excellent for train travellers. The only reason is that the heating was off when I arrived and it was still cool. Furthermore, the curtains are very light-permeable, so you are awake at an early stage unintentionally. The walls and the door are very noisy. But price-performance and service are absolutely good!

Quiet, cosy hotel in a central location directly opposite the Mönchengladbach ' Hauptbahnhof.

Not a star, because the purest rip-off! Usual Hotel prices there move of 27, 54 € to "unknown". Hardly fair to the dubious Hotel requires time easy peasy 160€/night. Impudence. Also on E-Mail agreements, shit is shit and not even confirmed, so in the Wake of strong ripped off. Never again!

We have from the 17.09 on the 18th. 09 the room like a Sauna stayed, despite the fan and open window is unbearable, cleanliness was given. The mattresses are a disaster, estimated to be 10 years old, impossible. 16 at the Ceckin is not possible, an absurdity. The Breakfast plentiful and varied, but the Seating, tables, laughably simple, is it not early enough in the Breakfast room, so you can eat standing up at the front Desk, is indeed not, as auh is the relatively cheap price doesn't change. Once never again.

The location is not in the nicest part of town. The heating would not switch off. It was clean enough and I suppose you get what you pay for.

Minimalistic but for business related overnight stays just right.

Great and clean rooms are in the hotel. The rates is nice and the food is delicious. I recommend it for a great stay.

Since 2011 I have been living regularly at the Fair Hotel in Mönchengladbach, where I work.
The hotel has a central yet quiet location close to the main train station and the bus stops at Europaplatz. You are right in the city center and can easily reach the shops on foot.
The rooms are spacious and bright and pleasantly furnished.
The shower rooms are also spacious and modern.
The beds are big and comfortable. The summer blankets are light and pleasant. The duvets in winter are cuddly warm.
In the rooms there is a telephone, TV, Wi-Fi and a fridge.
The breakfast buffet is delicious.
The service is excellent. Special requests, such as An earlier breakfast term, fulfilled.
The price-performance ratio is very good.

Was business 3 nights in the fair Hotel Mönchengladbach. No secure luggage storage in case of early arrival (baggage is directly behind the front door). The hotel has a small staircase, around which the breakfast room and the rooms are arranged. The rooms are all identical and pleasantly furnished. A disadvantage of the beautiful laminate floor: Beds are very easy to move so that it pushes forward his bed when you lean on the wall TV watching. Continues to mention the very nice construction: a sensitive people can be disturbed by the adjoining room, on the other hand are anything but quiet rooms to the front through the nearby bus station.
The breakfast offering was a selection corresponding to the price range. Negative: The provided yogurt was not guaranteed the cooling, it was room temperature.
The staff was mostly friendly, only the male staff, who took over the reception in the evening hours, was unmotivated and not very interested in the needs of the guests. Instead, he was busy checking out movies/videos on his computer.
Therefore was not complied with after an early breakfast also my desire. It was said that the breakfast lady would only begin at 6:00. I then cancelled the breakfast for the day, had to realize but then surprised that the breakfast was finished but already at 5:15 in the morning. It could have gone better!
