Nice people, cool decor, the music was a bit later, really super. The girls with the drinks was super friendly, the staff is generally very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean, there was even free Pizza. I can recommend real.

Was very tasty. The steak was perfect.

Large portions, large choice of seats and nice staff. However, the food was very neutral and almost cold when it arrived at the table. And that was despite very little going on.
Personally, it bothered me that it wasn't paid directly, but everything was clipped on value cards and then had to be paid when they left.

Staff was very friendly and very child-friendly. However, the burger did not taste, the bun was quite hard and dry, I can imagine that you can celebrate there well but going to dinner it is not recommended.

Room ok, but extremely loud. The motorway is right next to the hotel. Unfortunately, their sound barrier does not do anything, as the driveway is directly below and therefore the noise of the trucks is even louder. If that is not enough, there is still the daily disco operation. Breakfast consists of a packed lunch with ready-made coffee powder, an apple, a mushy sandwich and half a litre of ready to cocoa. In short: You can't sleep, you don't get a good breakfast … You can almost camp there. One star results from the crime that the room was clean, and the other because there is free Wi-Fi. Hotel Kastanienhof is very accessible from a driving point of view. I can't rate the Hotel itself, even the Food. I was on The scene on the 1st Friday of the Month. We wanted to have a bite to eat there this Lunchtime, there was virtually nothing going on, the Service was only busy with himself and the Boss was the Bang, we have never experienced anything unfriendly. This is a simple but nice hotel. If we are Mönchengladbach, we always stay there. Also the restaurant I can highly recommend. There is a good selection and it is very tasty and freshly prepared. The wait until serving is not long and the persona is very nice and accommodating.

The place was very upkept. Dust, cobwebs everywhere. Though close to the highway. Cold floors. The bathtub was sticked with hair. The reception is a certainly not secure with bottles of alcohol everywhere. Is sure the dirtiest room I ever slept in Europe. It turned a two night rest from home into fight between my husband and myself. In fact he called it a ghetto. And oh you definitely need ear plugs for the noise from the disco.

Great bar. Its modern with lots of drink choices and a lovely oudoor sitting area. The rooms are basic but are ok for a short break. Take a fan or buy one as there is no air conditioning. Breckfast is good for the area continental with eggs, bacon and even waffles. Eat qs much as you like.
