Quiet rooms, very clean, super comfortable beds, big rooms and big bathroom, big choice in the minibar, coffee machine in the room, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast… Again and again!

Good rooms, but check in queues too long. Took an hour to check in and around 10 minutes per family to check in. This can be done more efficiently.

The ordered goose was a mega failure. 144€ for the bin, no meat on it, no crispy skin. Go back on Monday, nothing more will be ordered. Sauce no taste in it. This can not be recommended! Stay away from it.

The superior room was very clean and modern. Dinner is served by Corona in the
Restaurant "Classico", the choice was very good (vegetarian and even vegan dishes). Again,
the staff was again very friendly and the food (as always at Maritim) very tasty and
rich. The fitness area is equipped with a lot of equipment and there is
Disinfectants available. Since our flight left at 06:00, we had to check out around 03:30 and
even at this time there were two staff at the reception, which is why the check-out very fast
goes.
We will definitely be back on our next flight!

Very Big Rooms, big bathroom! Big beds, nice and clean and quiet.

We usually spend our day before our international flights here at Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf and can recommend the place as a unusually calm, discrete and polite resort. It's main strengths are large and cosy rooms, it's situation close to Düsseldorf International Airport as well as a polite and friendly service. Rooms offer air condition, a TV with international programs, free WLAN services, an in-room-service, a minibar and — of course — clean and modern bathrooms. One might think, that the hotels close situation to Düsseldorf airport results in a noisy background, but in fact we know it's facilities as unusually calm. If you enjoy Gastronomy, the Maritim offers three restaurants — a sushi bar, a restaurant with German Cuisine and one with international Cuisine. If you have issues with flight phobia, two bars help you drinking down the latter. As mentioned, the hotel lies right next to Düsseldorf International Airport. Terminal C for international flights can be reached within seven minutes, if you are good on your feet, Terminal A, the most 'remote' facility, within 12 minutes. Additionally, the airport can hardly be overseen when leaving Maritim Hotel, since it is right next to it. Price for services are also unusually moderate for the quality and atmosphere served. So as a summary, we like the place and will definitely come back.

Due to technical issues on the Flybe flight I was put into the Maritim Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff which is definitely what you need after having your plane turned round in the air only to return to the airport. Lovely large room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely with everything you could think of to eat.

I was fortunate enough to spend 1 night in this hotel due to an early morning flight, really enjoyed the experience would definitely visit again… helpful staff, clean surroundings, couldn't fault it.

Well furnished rooms, advantage is you just walk into Dusseldorf airport. Good Buffet Breakfast at a additional charge of Euro 35/ — Rooms around 100 Euro per night, check out at 12 noon, thereafter subject to availability, you can request a late check-out and pay by the hour. Very good hotel with very clean rooms, stayed here 2 times so far. Second time they didn't have the room available as I booked so I got upgraded to suite and it was very big. Have multiple restaurants at first floor to eat and very convenient if you are taking a flight as walking few minutes and you are in the terminal.

Judging by the price, the Maritim at Düsseldorf Airport is a very good place to stay. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything looks very high-quality and new.
The staff are very friendly, stress resistant and competent. The restaurants are of different quality. Breakfast is good but, of course, only international average. As an inclusive performance, it can be recommended. Otherwise, I would invest the 20 euros in culinary terms but somewhere else.
If you are looking for a modern and generously designed hotel in the immediate vicinity of the airport, you can't do much wrong here. Due to the good transport connections, the house is also suitable for a comfortable city trip.
By the way, you don't get anything from the aircraft noise. The soundproofing is excellent.

If you need to change trains at Dusseldorf airport, feel free to use the facilities Meritim. Spacious rooms, sauna, swimming pool, gym-all this invigorates and relieves fatigue! the staff immediately responded to the request for a sauna robe. Recommend! I'll have Breakfast next time!

Its a nice hotel with all latest amwnities like gym, next door walking track and nice rooms. Best of all airpiet 2 minutes walk. I liked the hotel.

Very nice hotel with direct access to airport terminal. The breakfast is very varied and leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has two restaurants with sushi and local dishes. There is also a bistro and a bar.

When we asked for directions to the ISS Dome, we were sent in a completely wrong direction. The taxi eventually cost €30 instead of €10 so we arrived on time. Originally we wanted to get there by train.
There was no other hotel.
This was my first and last time at a Maritim hotel.
For my family, friends and relatives as well.

Very clean and up to date — Directly conected to Airport. Good Breakfast buffet. Front desk was very proficient and helpful. But if you are from a country where you do not know how to wait your turn in line do not stay here. I'll be staying here and have no time for your third world idiocy…

5 Star feeling in a 4 star hotel we had a late arrival in Düsseldorf, so we stayed at the Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf once. Hit!
Because of a trade fair in Düsseldorf, we got an upgrade from a double room to a junior suite. Thank you for this.
This junior suite was the absolute hammer! The hotel was built in 2008.
The suite has a very large living room with sofa and 2 armchairs and a separate guest toilet.
Everything is luxuriously equipped, with high quality glasses, bathrobes, slippers, well stocked mini bar. Nice bathroom, very comfortable beds.
It feels like a 5 star hotel.
We are very happy to return!

Nice, very clean, and convenient to airport and fair Messe. It has transparent lifts, great for claustrophobia sufferers. Breakfast extremely expensive (€24! ) for those who do Italian, with only a few brioches as a sweet option. Wifi very slow!

I wonder about the good ratings. Rooms are really beautiful. But the room was overheated despite I closed the System. The breakfast was never worth the price — bad service, scrambled eggs tasted not fresh made … and so on. A friend warned me but I didn’t believe it until my experience. Good I never organized a brunch with my friends there. Furthermore something went wrong with the payment. I hope I never have to sleep there again.

Good ambience and food. I did not ask for a presenter but had to pay for it — I did not cancel it on the written order. Unused Vouchers had to be paid… There some alternatives in Düsseldorf!

The location of the Maritim Hotel at Düsseldorf Airport is perfect if you are stranded there late at night and need to fly on very early. The rooms are spacious, the bed very comfortable. Point prints are available because you do not have pillows to choose from, and in the bathroom there is no toothbrush etc. The restaurant offer in the EC is good and varied for an airport hotel.

The city centre is easily accessible. The restaurant I found cozy and with tasty dishes. Perfect for those who have to leave early in the morning from the airport.

Typical large transient hotel but easy to access location just a few mins walk from arrivals in Düsseldorf. Bus services & plenty of taxis in airport too.

I was in the Maritim Hotel for a two-day training and it was great. Very nice conference room and all the top equipped. The staff was very accommodating and the food sag tip. The coffee machine that stood in front of the conference room was very good, seldom drank such a good coffee. Unfortunately I have not stayed in the hotel but at the airport hotel Lindner. I was very disappointed by the hotel Lindner and would not recommend it to anyone. I would go back to the Maritim hotel every time. All the staff there do their job very well. Keep it up!

Very comfortable and spacious close to the airport.

Very good Hochpreisiges hotel. Spacious comfortable rooms, as well as the lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Smaller outlets at the very expensive gastronomy. Cheese is so long until it is dry, the coffee was lukewarm and bitter. Curry Sausage and hamburger cost proud €15. Wait about 30 minutes. Basically, also because of the proximity to the airport, but a clear recommendation.

Right next to the airport, but still very quiet. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the temperature was just perfect and the windows can be opened to get a bit of fresh air, which is an amazing feature for a hotel. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. I checked in as part of a bigger group of different nationalities and I was impressed with the front desk's lady enthusiasm to great as many as she could in their own language. Being so personal, she truly made us all feel so welcomed. My original room had a strong smell of cigarettes and I called the front desk, kindly asking for a solution, like an air purifier. They offered me immediately another room and I appreciated their fast solution. The only downside is the size of the single beds. They are really, really small, as are the duvets. If you are used to stretch and turn during your sleep, make sure to book a different type of room. A variety of pillows would also make a big difference, as they are so flat, soft and uncomfortable.

Everything is wonderful. … only in the restaurant Classico were constant disturbing engine noises heard. Every 3 days at short intervals.

This was a very long and important trip for me, and while scanning the area around the Düsselsdurf airport for hotels I asked at the reception of Maritim for a room just for my overnight stay as I was leaving the next day. At first they told me it would be 199€ including breakfast, and they would provide a storage room for some heavy luggage I had, after I finished what I had to do and came back to book it was 169€ WITHOUT breakfast (that would now be 24€ extra per person) and the luggage (broken down dog crates) would have to be put IN MY ROOM. I was confused and when I pointed out the difference to the lady she rudely shut me down with a ''Do you want the room or no? ''! As I had no choice so late at night and knew no one in the area (not to mention the fact that people around the airport seemed unwilling to help me navigate my way around, most of them were rude and didn’t speak any English or so they said) I said fine and booked the room. When I arrived in my room I noticed there was a dirty glass of wine in the refreshments section (red wine was not in my mini fridge so I assume previous tenants drunk it and housekeeping didn’t bother to collect it). My room was missing important in my opinion toiletries such as q-tips, disposable toothbrush & or toothpaste (as my stay at a hotel was not programmed for my trip these would be very essential for me), cotton puds, and other personal hygiene bits and pieces you expect to find in a hotel bathroom.

The Maritim Hotel at Düsseldorf airport is within walking distance of the terminal. Actually, we wanted to fly on holiday, but because the tour operator left us in the rain, we had to spend completely exhausted one night at the airport… the very helpful and friendly staff of the hotel, organized and quick US Inexpensive a room. I stayed here during a business trip in October 2017. Immaculate hotel, friendly staff & quiet given its at an airport. To get there is a 3 minute walk — simply walk to the end of the airport, go up to the top floor & there is a skypath; given I arrived very late at night it was a welcome feeling not to walk among the dark areas of the car park & the people I could see loitering in the shadows. Not much more to say as I didn't use the bar nor restaurant. Only 4 stars as the welcome went from excellent, to warm the moment the clerk noted I used a website to get an excellent, reduced rate on my room.

Very nice big hotel. Very clean. Different ways to eat something in the restaurants with good selection. The food is very good and very plentiful. Nice large bathroom with bathtub. Air-conditioned rooms, smart TV and we had views of the airport tower and the airport area Gate C. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back here soon.

You have the airport by your side, and you can connect with many places from there, the hotel is very good, its excellent family rooms… pool, restaurant and kitchen too. Very professional.

Good hotel by the airport. Breakfast is good. Good bars for drinks. Doesn't have shuttle service to the city. Internet is super-slow even for sending emails. Reception claimed too many users but it was throughout my stay. the staff are very helpful and polite. Clean rooms. There is a good area for shopping behind the hotel.

It was clean. Nevertheless, for the price and alleged four stars too little power for a lot of money. Sauna was too small and breakfast only had a surcharge of between 10 and 25 euros. Too expensive.

Great hotel with swimming pool and gym. 2 indoor restaurants, one buffet and one sushi, 2 bars. Very useful if you have to make a stop-over as it happened to me.

Great place all together. This hotel looks and feels new, staff is very friendly. Rooms a spacious enough and have everything you need. Hotel has SIXT rental in the garage. There is a short 10 minutes walk from a room to the terminal. For us it was very short (overnight), but very pleasant stay.

Stayed here as flight had been cancelled so it was the airline's choice not mine. All very nice but a bit bland. Room not as nice as the one I had stayed in the night before at Meliá Düsseldorf. We were promised breakfast but only got a handful of tiny croissants. This, however, may be down to what the airline were willing to pay for. Very convenient location though if you want to stay here before a flight. Walking distance from the terminal.

Hotel location is great for business trips if you want to be close to the airport, rooms are well maintained. Staff at the desk are very warm but The restaurants staff mainly are bizarre/ not friendly … Buffet was good and a lot of varieties how ever I had one waiter service the whole section.

Stayed at the very close Sheraron but enjoyed the jam bar for evening cocktails with friends.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The Breakfast buffet was huge and one can have plenty of choices. When I told the staffs in the buffet that I can only eat white bread, they went extra to the kitchen to get a plain white bread and offer a gluten free bread. The staffs both on the reception and in the breakfast restaurant were very accomodated.

Little to say, having only spent a few hours there. Very convenient to the airport of course (3 minutes walk), clean and cozy rooms, friendly staff.

Again, we have been in 2015 there and had a great us. This time with the car. The underground car park was very clean and also for larger vehicles enough. No car key delivery! Unfortunately the pool was unusable due to maintenance us what as parents of kl. Child's the evening difficult has.

We have 2-times there stayed every time a great experience, very clean, nice Zimmer. Sehr breakfast buffet, restaurant variety, we have us for the Rheinische Stov decided, the food is highly recommended would meet like the other restaurants.

Super hotel! Great lobby! The quality of cleanliness is strikingly high and over many many other hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful all the time on the road. Unfortunately, we could stay only one day there. We are looking forward now to the next stay there.

The location of the Maritim could not be better, there is even a covered walkway to the departures area of the airport. A bit pricey but good quality. Ate at one of the in house restaurants which was also fine.

Was with a friend there at the Dance Stars Gala 2015. Service was bottomless outrageous. We were right at the beginning by the waiter with a tray Tinto showered. Interested no one, not even a cloth to Wipe off on us enough. As a thank you, we were allowed to our Getränkerechnung then also have to pay for. Written complaint to the Hotel has also brought nothing. Goodwill, Generosity? None. Sincere apology or admission of wrongdoing? complete none. I can only every strongly advise against! Edit after the answer of hotel: dear ladies and gentlemen, First of all, I find it interesting that your reaction to a sensitive, bad review on Google within 36h. For the answer to my written complaint, they have, at least five days. And by the way: My public appeal, I only posted that after I gave them the opportunity to comment. It is a well-thought out response, that alone should make them think. On your answer here I want just notice. Topic-speaking people can be helped: I Must your staff really only explain that a cloth to Wipe law would be helpful, if I shell-shocked and dripping at my table seats? And furthermore, I HAVE myself just before Leaving for the event with clear words with your waiter complained. There was unfortunately no response. I feel of them especially so snubbed, because I at no time and in none of their Writing (not here) somewhere can recognize that you are even the slightest consciousness of wrongdoing is present.

512 Kbps limited internet service? For well over 100 EUR per night? Where are we? In 1990? In hostel in Cambodia I've got better internet and this is expected to be a hotel for business but I take me ages to download our agenda. AVOID, AVOID at any cost. To answer that "manager" — your response was definitely not a friendly manner. I feel insulted. I used Cambodia as an extreme example that even there they manage to get decent internet, hopefully hotel in Norway would be closer to your understanding. Yes, you are completely right, rusty old bowl and a bucket of cold water is also really enough to wash yourself and still I somehow expect that I will get at least nice warm shower or preferably bathtub if I visit 4* hotel. Silly me, right? Hotel on airport is expected to serve business guests, for many of them fast internet is much more important than bathtub. E-mails with business plans or complex Excel models for different scenarios have easily around 20 MB each and believe me, it was painful experience to send them in your hotel. Also pages have so many graphics elements that 512 kbps is long time not sufficient. I would not buy a voucher (eventhough my company would easily pay for that) as I would not pay extra for a hot water in a (you say) 4* hotel. Btw if your hotel would offer 512 KB per second it would be better (yet still not great), but it just seems that you don't only understand the basic needs of your guest, but also the difference between kbits a kBytes.

About Expedia booked, rebooking was necessary, commitment of the hotel to get the this is Possible, and when the date came, you could remember nothing more. Protocolary was everything the organizers noted, the room was still gone. Too bad that not a word has been kept. About the Hotel itself I can say unfortunately nothing, you should in any case everything is in writing.

Cold staff, not helpful, little family-friendly, high comfort for a high price, overall I am very unhappy, my expectations were too high and my previous experiences with other Hotels too good.

I have the night at the Maritim airport hotel before the start of my Urlaubsfluges in the Caribbean spent and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are modern and equipped with good beds and Wi-Fi access was included. Despite the close proximity was nothing of aircraft noise to hear. It is only a few steps up to the Terminal, I could the night before Check In easy reach and so very relaxed for my flight the next Morning to compete. In April 2015 I'm going to this Hotel again book.

The worst hotel ever. The staff are very rude. It happened so many times here.

Tip: pay €5 for the T-Mobile Wi-Fi ("Telekom") rather than the high priced fixed line access in the room — it lasts 24 hours and has very high speeds (18Mbps DL, 15Mbps UL).

By the immediate proximity of the airport, all international guests to easily reach our feet by the used as the place of our hotel. A great service. Over and over again. Thank you very much.
