High quality as always — first Choice for me. The Only situation I do not think is so good here. Although accessible, on a noisy Main Thoroughfare, entertainment at Breakfast on the Outdoor terrace is impossible.

I was at Motel One for 2 Nights recently and have no Criticisms of the Hotel. The Breakfast was delicious and the Room in very good Condition. Only the Connection to the subway could be a little better, but subway stations in Cologne City centre are generally a bit scarce.

The rooms are quite small, but for one or 2 Nights is ok. For a longer holiday I can't find the Hotel rather then ideal. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I don't know in Hotels. To recommend all in all, for short business trips and weekend holidays.

A minimalistic but quit nice hotel for the price. Breakfast is adequate, although nothing special. The only things missing are a gym, Netflix on the TV and maybe some extra power outlets.

I found it great the staff is very nice, the room is a bit small but more space we didn't need for a weekend visit a fridge would have been good the room was very clean the bed comfortable The breakfast was also good buns, bread croissants sausage cheese jam etc Fruit salad boiled egg different types of coffee tea cocoa in the evening you could still take a nightcap in the bar and the price was also good.

A nice hotel, clean, well located, cheap, a very nice staff, a very well furnished bar and a perfect breakfast. A hotel as we would like more often!

The hotel is well maintained and the staff has very good language skills. We are happy to be here and will be back for the third time soon. The way to the cathedral is not far and also the shopping arcade is close by and easy to reach on foot.

We've stayed here twice and we will be here a third time. It's a great hotel within walking distance of the Altstadt and the shopping area of Köln. Rooms are small, but clean. Breakfast is very good. And the hotel has a parking. The staff is very friendly too. And all of this is very affordable. I know where I'm staying next time.

Price value is amazing. Small rooms but very comfortable, great breakfast, and the receptionist — I think she was Italian — was so nice that our group talked about how nice she was — il definitely stay here again!

My first motel one so far… and I was a little disappointed. The hotel is inexpensive, but reduces to the bare necessities. Breakfast lacks choice and above all space. The rooms are small but modern and clean. The "Art'otel" a few hundred meters further I like it more.

Good location. Nearby supermarket and shopping area. No room service as hotel does not have any in house restaurant. Even morning breakfast is outsourced to some company so only breakfast is available. No tea coffee or any other room service. Even no kettle in the room to have warm water. Good part is location and always smiling n helping receptionist who is of Italian origin.

It was a great stay with nice staff. Our wishes were fulfilled. Breakfast and Bar super. The owner was very friendly.

Well I spend a lot of time in several Motel One Hotels and this one is the best of all! Mathias (the hotel manager) and his team are bringing customers satisfaction up to a new level! You’re feeling like at home. All accessible via wheelchair and if something isn’t working fine: just let them known! Awesome and well located.

A good hotel with decent value for money. The rooms are relatively small but modern and chic furnished. The service is friendly and good! Breakfast can also be booked and is also very good! Good selection and coffee drinks from the fully automatic coffee machine. It may become full and you will have to wait for a seat. Monday, however, it was much more relaxed than on the weekend.
Free wireless internet is available and the 15, €0 car park fee per day is fair.
We have been here for the second time and would also book on our next visit!

I was recommended to go here by a friend and it was a great place to stay. The hotel is very modern, fairly priced, and has an overall comfortability which I enjoyed. Great walking distance within the downtown area.

Very modern hotel near the city. An earlier check-in was possible without any problems. In this hotel, kindness is paramount. The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything that is needed. A small minus point is the parking costs of €15am per night in the underground car park, in which only a part is reserved for MotelOne guests (otherwise public), but it is possible to park in the public part even if the part reserved by the hotel is already full (Also for €15, 000 per night).

Budget hotel with super nice staff. The room are ok — could use a little of a touch up and the mattresses are quite hard. Location wise it's super central and easy to get to. The bar has a nice selection of gin and worth a try.

Rooms impeccable. Nothing was missing, nothing was superfluous. Atmosphere cosse-modern, a shower to fall in love with, the bed a dream in the pleasant hardness — area and three pillow variants to add. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet excellent. In short, an oasis for well-being. I like to come back! (20171216)

Our visit was great despite of the total booked hotels. The room size / appropriateness should be known to everyone. The place is sufficient and the rooms were spotless. From street noise, there was nothing to hear.
The limited space at breakfast is somewhat problematic, especially when the hotel is fully booked, we had no problem finding a place. The staff was always striving for guests who had a place to find one. The buffet was filled more quickly, so that everything there was plenty. The selection is good and it should be something for everyone. A coffee machine was down, what has extended the snakes on the other machines. It didn't bother me to have to wait, I was finally at the breakfast and not on the run.
A pity that the outside area is very small and you must have luck to get a place. At a sold out House but probably no surprise.
The team there is recorded, totally attentive, "afloat" and even in the stress in a good mood and always friendly. Rarely seen a such a good team. We felt well looked after.
The location is ideal, within walking distance to the "hubbub". The price-performance ratio is definitely.
I would book again here a very well run Motel one — on a further visit to Cologne.

Super nice staff, come far as bus drivers very much in various hotels, often in motel one Germany. Often such nice experiences. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay. When I privately come to Cologne with family I will post there in any case. Also the location is good.

Super freundlich, sauber, tolle Zimmer. Genau richtig, nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig schick schnack. Völlig ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet. Jeder Zeit wieder.

The Interior of the hotel is modern and coherent. Also the room. It all works perfectly. Unfortunately, our room to the street out what has disturbed us but not on big was. The Windows are well sealed (we don't hear). The bathroom is very modern and stylish! Consider how lucky you really to come up after a busy day in the hotel room or relax in the hotel bar (5 *)
Breakfast: all items offered are fresh. There are the classical things (among others. A very fresh fruit salad). Orange juice, Apple juice and coffee are free of charge. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, small sausages were what was missing me. However, I was very happy with it. (4 *)
Overall a very positive experience. Price was very good.

Nice stylish rooms, good breakfast, and I had a great view over the city. Only a few minutes walk from the main station.

The hotel was super clean and super Central! Go 7 minutes it was in the center of Cologne on the Hay market to the shopping mile. An adjacent underground car park there for €15 a day, what I think definitely in order for Cologne prices! Staff was very good to and very helpful! Only drawback was the bed, because the mattresses were extremely hard.

Rooms are very clean. Small but practical. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was rich and tasty. The Breakfast area is a little tight, however, we still get a place. Payment is due upon arrival.

This was my first Motel One stay, and maybe my expectations were a bit lofty. Our room was tiny (cannot remember the last time I had a room this small) and the location wasn't great either. When you add the tourism tax it's not exactly cheap either. Still, service was good and all in all it's a decent hotel.

The staff is very friendly and attentive, always in a good mood and not hectic in the biggest stress or annoyed, an experienced team, wonderful cope with stress. The rooms are equipped with a large shower, a comfortable box-spring bed and a flat TV. In the evening, the bar invites to linger. I can write a one plus stylish, modern, yet cosy Motel only with one.

Kennt man ein Motel One kennt man alle. Wie immer sauber, modern, Zimmer nicht riesig aber groß genug. Gratis Internet und ruhige Zimmer. Parkhaus vorhanden. Werde wieder hier übernachten.

Very good hotel. Very modern, not at all means, very clean. Rooms without much gadgetry, eh doesn't need and otherwise unnecessary always pays. Good breakfast — but unfortunately not enough seats.
