No thrills, frills or nonsense excellent small hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great choice for breakfast. Very clean rooms. 5 minute walk from the station on a relatively quit square. Only downside was the lack of an airco while it was extremely hot and humid.

Clean but limited facilities. Good value for money and central.

Vol-heated room without air conditioning with currently 27 degrees outside temperature and down bed bed. Clean, but completely impossible.

We really liked the hotel, beautiful ambience in the middle of Cologne! The hotel has beautiful spacious rooms, also on request with a balcony. The bathroom was new and everything very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Everything is taken care of and this is noticeable during the rich breakfast. Once something is out, it will be freshly refilled!
You have a contact person at your disposal at all times! The car can easily be parked in the car park around the corner and thus everything is within walking distance of the hotel.
We would come back anytime! Are thrilled!

The hotel is very close to the Hbf. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The breakfast is very good and fresh.

I was just a short night there and can't say much about it. The staff is nice and polite. The rooms (I stayed in a single room) was clean and relatively modern furnishings. Price-performance fit.

All in all super. Although we were a JGA with 8 men and a lot of beer were all always friendly. Also at night at 3 o'clock. Location is perfect. Rooms are clean. Bathroom a little small, but could have been located on the uneven corridor. Breakfast top. Special requests for allergies are satisfied by appointment. Unbeatable at the price.

We had to stay overnight here. Services and breakfast were ok, hotel worth to wear 3 stars.

Gebucht wurde ein Einzelzimmer. Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Nix auszusetzen. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hotel hat eigenen abgeschlossen Parkplatz. Lage ist neben dem Hauptbahnhof sehr zentral. Leider aufgrund der Einbahnstraßen mit dem Auto etwas umständlich zu erreichen.

Very easy access from the Cologne rail station, rooms have a very modern feel although the breakfast could have been better for the 12 euros it costs per day.

The hotel stay was fine. Rooms are spacious and clean. The establishment is not the most advanced but offers everything that is needed. It is only 3 minutes ' walk to the city centre and just a stone's throw away from central station.

I stayed in Hotel Ludwig 4 nights from June, 5 to june, 9 2015 in a room with a single bed on the last floor. The room was perfect, clean and quiet and as I wanted to discover Köln and Deutz and travel to Bonn and Dusseldorf the location neat the Hauptbahnhof was perfect too. A Mulet.

We were at Christmas time there. There is a wonderful Christmas decoration with a right rail under the Christmas tree in the hall and in the afternoon delicious Gluehwein. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The nice lady at the reception gave us great tips for our stroll. The rooms are clean and the Hotel is in a clean condition. The Breakfast is very tasty. We have the rooms booked directly in the Hotel, this was the cheapest. When we got back to Koeln come, we will definitely be back in the Ludwig live.

I've been regularly working in the Hotel Ludwig to do. In addition to the Central location, the friendly staff, in an almost family atmosphere as well as the well thought-out and practical equipment worth mentioning. Also "behind the Scenes" everything is clean and well maintained. Absolutely recommended.

Wonderful quiet Hotel in the heart Koelns, the Service was excellent, you could also time with the people to talk to and was due to the unusual Outfits not slanting looked at, rather it was an interest is present, which leads me to a reservation already for next year moved. Price/performance is excellent, Breakfast was hearty and so very well suited for a Long day of the festival. I can this Hotel only recommend a quiet night in lovely combined atmosphere of rich likes to spend.
