Although the hotel has no curb appeal, our room was pleasantly renovated. The manager on duty kindly helped us to get a working fridge into our room, and they are all very helpful generally. This is primarily why I am giving them five stars. The location is also convenient, so all in all, it is good valuem.

Interesting small hotel based right in the old town of Cologne city centre. Three minutes walk from the Dom and just around the corner from the restaurants facing the Rhine. This hotel has "character"; none of the rooms seem the same; some have fans, some fridges, others not. Rooms opening onto the read courtyard are probably quietest. The breakfast is great and the price very reasonable for the facilities. The Wi-Fi is strong, at least wherever I went. The reception staff are very helpful. We will probably stay here again.

The rooms are a cubicle (dwarfs), a narrow bed and a bad mattress… And very old. The only good thing is that it's in the middle.

Very good public transport connections as well as by car. Located directly on the Rhine with heavenly soft and new mattresses. The breakfast buffet offers for almost every guest a satisfaction offered by the courteous staff and the fresh of the goods. I'm looking forward to here next time.

Very good location, very comfortable and clean room. Personal loved him one even spoke Spanish. Below is a pub where Fridays and Saturdays make noise until 02:00.

The location the Hotel would have earned five stars. But the room is so old that I can't award more than two stars. In addition, the bathroom is simply no longer acceptable. Therefore only a 2 star stay then really left.

Lovely hotel and a fabulous location for shops and local bars and restaurants. Rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean and staff very friendly. Will definitely stay here again on future trips to cologne. Highly recommend.

Great location, just in front of the philharmonie. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, perfect location! No five stars as it would benefit from some renovation, but a very fine location!

Stayed for one night with the kids. Pretty expensive but well kept. Big room. Clean. Didn't have breakfast. Good central location.

Except there is no aor condition, the hotel is ok.

The staff was very friendly, the room was small but comfortable. Bad noise, but at least it's not noisy.

The rooms are very well equipped and pleasant. Despite a nightclub next door we slept well as it is well soundproofed.

Very nice hotel, located just a few blocks from the Cologne Cathedral. Out the window from our room, we could just barely see the steeples of the Cathedral! The staff was very courteous and professional, and we had no problems (though housekeeping came a bit earlier than we expected, before 9 AM). The bed was quite firm (not necessarily a bad thing, but be aware).

(After out — rear) very excellent, quite simply kept, but clean, quiet, breakfast very good. All in all ok.

Worst hotel I've eve ever stayed at. They had no power when I checked in, no Wi-Fi. Room and bathroom combined were smaller than a north American closet. Terrible service. Offered no kind of rebate / incentive even after having no power or Wi-Fi. Terrible hotel.
