Have found the restaurant over the Internet, with the indication that it closes at 9:30 p. M. For us, it's a Friday, weekend, quite early. The food was very good, rich portions, deliciously tasted. We had reserved for 7 p. M. After the meal it was supposed to be a dessert, but the kitchen was already at 8 p. M. Too bad we thought. It was also cashed in immediately and at 9 p. M. You could feel that it was now real time to clear the field. Our service, who was very friendly and wished us a nice evening, also rushed past us shortly afterwards. Here I would like to adjust the times on the Internet, then you could set up accordingly.

Am very disappointed, the owners of the Kartoffelkate are quite bad business People. I'm sure you don't have a long future. The boss is so rude, food was not good either. We went to the bakery in the village to get fresh buns, as those offered by the restaurant were not Tasty. Rooms were O. K. Also Clean. Some things would have to be repaired Sometime. Also, what was still very negative to us, we had to pay the bill for the Rooms. A single thing that was very positive is the young woman who was part of the staff of the Waitress. She was very, very friendly and I wish her personally that she gets a good job Time. We will definitely go on holiday in the harz, but definitely not stay in the Kartoffelkate.

Fantastic asparagus, really fresh whipped hollandaise sauce, delicious tenderloin. Beer to draught and a very friendly service complete the culinary experience.
May I warmly recommend anyone as a lover of good food!

I no longer ate as well. Very much recommended, even if it means 20 km detour.

The service was friendly but a little overwhelmed: the serving was very leisurely, the courts could not be explained, orders were confused.
The kitchen was there much faster, which unfortunately had the effect, that the egg was still partially raw in the farmer's breakfast. The steaks on mushroom cream sauce with roasted potatoes literally swam in the sauce, the roasted potatoes were mostly softened. In the sauce some few Champi slices therefore practically does not exist were hidden, a mushroom flavor and it was very thin for a cream sauce. There it played almost no role more, that fried the meat properly and everything was nicely Spiced. Both dishes were served in pans without the now ubiquitous usual side salad.

The potato Kate is a very nice and rustic kept restaurant with a great atmosphere and chic furnishings.
The meals come in a good time frame to the table, are beautifully decorated and the price quality ratio is very satisfactory. The food and drinks are fresh and it tastes very good.
For example, the Witch Hunter or the Köhler pan are recommended. Always a taste sensation!
The restaurant arrives well on children within the framework of a great variety of special children's menus with very suggestive names such as such as Neptune's Kingdom.
We would in any case always here again food come! Great service, nice services and an excellent cook!
