I liked it very much. I ate solyanka and it was great! the yeast dumpling was huge, but my husband said it tasted very good and goes great with wild goulash. And my brother also got fed up with the schnitzel with fries. It was plentiful and very good. A very diligent and nice service despite dog! we were lucky with the weather, but with the canopy I think it's very nice. So we want to go up again, we agree.

Visit on May 19th 20 Our first restaurant after the many Coronalocks. We were allowed to park in the large parking lot, because we wanted to hike to the Bielstein kcliff. We were there because of childhood memories, which was done. Awkward and too bad.

We were by chance this week at the Goat's Shop Essen. The schnitzel with blue cabbage tasted great. We 4 agreed on that. The service was friendly and fast. We even got something as a gift. Definitely because we were also friendly and relaxed guests.

By chance we stopped by car and had the opportunity to experience the biggest yeast dumplings in the world. What a big thing. In my case a little too little sauce for the size but on request there was then a bit of reference so that it is not quite so dry. And the selection (about 20 variants) is remarkable. Also the "normal" food tasted to all family members and was plentiful.
The house is probably being renovated, looks very good and will certainly get even better. The kitchen is already TOP! You definitely have a very nice view into the Harz foreland to the east, a large playground has delighted the children during the driving break.

Made a nice trip here today. Great atmosphere, great and friendly staff was officially impressed. And absolutely recommend this is the ultimate institution in terms of Hefeklöße. Huge and delicious in all variations, vanilla sauce with cinnamon, on blueberries, plums, raspberries simply class.

We celebrated the 30th anniversary of my husband there. Great buffet, nice service, great parking facilities for all guests and a nice view.

The food was delicious. The staff are super nice and helpful. Overall I liked everything very much but the location inside and above all left out to be desired. If you were to change it, would make it a little more modern and also would completely renovate the terrace outside, then I would take the defintitiv the hour to make my free time there.

Great excursion destination in the Harz. Great view from the lookout tower. After 126 steps the top platform has been reached. It's a pity that you can't open the windows to take pictures. However, you have a great view.

Yesterday we spent four a nice afternoon there. Good food, super dumplings and a very nice and attentive service. A great view from the lookout tower to the northern Harz region. Is definitely worth a visit.

If you like Hefeklöße, you're right here. The restaurant is famous for this and the many variants of the encampments from sweet to savory. The service is very nice.

It is very nice to stay in the hotel. The rooms are very clean, except for you curious solution for the shower curtain. The breakfast is also very good. But the hammer is the view you have…

Again liked to visit and as a guest in the Berggasthof & pension goat's head. From the goat's head is a very beautiful view over Blankenburg in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Harz forests. They invite you to great hiking tours. Very much recommended!

Excuse me, dear guest host of the goat's head, that we have not thought of the Walpurgis night. We want the last weekend of April 2016 with friends to go hiking in the Harz mountains. The innkeeper in response was in the telephone request due to an overnight "does not deal with a request for an overnight stay to the Walpurgis night. " And simply hung up. As accommodation and starting point of our tours, we had decided at short notice for the guesthouse "Ziegenkopf", above the roofs of Blankenburg, and did not regret it.
Clean, functionally furnished rooms with great views and good service awaited us.
Due to its central location, you can be in Quedlinburg, Thale or Wernigerode in about 20 minutes.
And the kitchen also convinced.
For our next visit to the Harz it is already clear: Accommodation? — Goat's head!

For a little chat to find the ladies always have the time. The food is good and price is not overpriced. It is all freshly prepared.
