Modern design budget hotel with all needed facilities. Would have given it a 5 if the breakfast area had been a bit bigger. It's big but it was hard to find a spot when the hotel was fully booked.

Excellently located hotel with very friendly staff. Typical Motel One breakfast where I personally don't miss anything. Nearby there is a multi-storey car park that can be used and which can be accessed via direct access in the basement of the hotel.
The rooms are a bit smaller, but given the location and the price everything is fine here.

Motel one like an motel one. Great staff and absolutely clean. But the lobby area is really small and absolutely crowdy in the morning. I missing a second buffet!

Unfortunately the staff does not seem to be very helpful at this Motel one. After we got told to be able to check in early and that there are at least a couple of rooms available for us, we ended up getting there 20 minutes later being told that the rooms have just been given to someone else. Instead of being offered the very next room possible (as we were being told), we had to wait over an hour to finally check into our room! Obviously no one seemed to care about us sitting in the lobby waiting with our luggage. The reception staff seems to be more interested in their own phones and communication between each other than in helping their guests. All in all, the service was very poor! The actual room and breakfast still was as good as ever, as we have stayed in Motel ones before.

Usual Motel One, which means very, very good. Rooms are great, shower is great. Only complaint I found was not enough lifts when hotel is full. Allow extra time if checking out at breakfast time.

Rooms are quite small but absolutely adequate, even for couples. Also super clean and tidy. So did the bathroom.
There is a star deduction for the high parking costs in the hotel basement. The other star deduction is available for breakfast. The selection is by and large absolutely ok, but with the mini-tables and lowered chairs you don't really feel comfortable and you want to finish quickly. This is a little reminiscent of mass handling.
Nevertheless, I will recommend the hotel to others.

Clean and cosy. Friendly, helpful staff. Mixed audience. On-site parking, but at €18 per day, they are not really offered cheaply. The hotel is centrally located. You can explore everything on foot. Therefore, at least you save the fees for the subway.

Motel has best location, you can reach everything well on foot, reception very friendly and accommodating, rooms are small, but fine, very clean and neat, bathroom small and clean, very soft beautiful towels, noise protection windows, hardly street noise to hear, air conditioning available, No wardrobes available but shelf and rack, completely adequate for a few days, organic breakfast, selection good and plentiful, coffee tastes, very full and only small tables for two, but the staff was always behind, everything was always replenished abundantly And cleared quickly.
Underground parking very price intensive!
If we were to be back, we would book it again. Definitely recommended, you have to bear in mind that it is a motel and not a hotel.

Good hotel in a central location. Completely adequate for a night as a business stay. Unfortunately, only view of the other wing opposite, so you always had to pull the curtains. Stressful breakfast, as hotel lobby and bar are used as a guest room. Service and friendliness, as well as cleanliness absolutely given in the rooms!

Large Hotel with many rooms. The rooms are small, the top decorated and clean. The Breakfast is reasonable and quite sufficient. A little bit of everything. It is centrally located in the heart of Hamburg. From here, many attractions are within walking distance.

Not bad, actually. Am accommodated 2 times in a motel one for longer than 3 days. It is really just as described on the Internet.
What bothered me was the breakfast!
Really always the same, but really always day — year in and out.
A blind man would find everything in his place. In the evening, the deep armchairs may be quite thorough, while eating I like to sit sensibly and not like on the couch. The so-called music drives a fast disappearance.
Oh yes, I had to watch one morning like a too heavily grown servant, his mitt at the reception, Ernidringent treated.
If you look out of the constantly running fan I would book again, the room backwards looking out to the yard, no street noise listening. I'd like one. More attention to all employees. Humanity remains on track so I speak to every reader.

If you choose an offer with room and breakfast the value for money is good. The room was nice but very small. The cocktails at the bar were relatively expensive. The hotel has a great location and is very easy to reach!

I was over Easter at the Hotel motel one. I can only say super! Very clean, very nice staff, great breakfast and very central! The hotel concept is very appealing and sometimes very different from other hotels! Price correspondingly good. I would like to come back.

Beware if you are smoker, they are totally fanatic with this is not pro they apply processes it's boring.

We loved it.

Unfriendly receptionist, expensive parking fees, endless long waits for the elevator and to check in or out at reception. Receptionist was not interest in hearing our complaints, she instead accused us that we did not have the information on where to pay for parking (we were looking for ticket machines in the garage). Bathroom door does not stay open, it has to be propped open with the dustbin to keep it ventilated as there is no ventilator or extractor fan in the Bathroom.

Stay again very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable.

At Motel one you know what you get. Clean rooms, great bar, good breakfast and a top location and nice staff. The Motel One AM Michel is particularly good. Many hotspots are easily accessible from there. Only breakfast is when the hotel is well attended, anything but relaxed. Nevertheless, recommended!

Very very basic Hotel. A soap with a little too strong smell and a very small room. Good view in half?

Great location between Hamburg Rathaus and the Reeperbahn. Also very close to the hidden gem Neustadt and a quick walk to the harbor too. The hotel has comfy simple rooms with great washrooms and showers for modest prices. I stay here for business and pleasure on a semi regular basis and recommend it over a lot of the other more expensive hotels in Hamburg independent of price.

Motel One is okay. It is clean, near center of Hamburg, not expensive. Unfortunatelly at breakfast: the cheese, bread or butter are tasteless. Seriously. No idea how this can be possible, but it is not worth the price. Better to eat outside somehere in a Bakerei or sth.

The rooms are neat, if a little small. So are the bathrooms. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet is varied and there is something for every taste. In the evening you can still sit in the foyer, have a chat and have drinks. The atmosphere is beautiful and the drinks are affordable.

The bar and lounge area of this place is amazing. It seems a mix of ages and interests likes to gather here for a really good green tea. Well, in my case anyway. The staff is wonderful, the music jazzy.

Good and new hotel, ideal for a few nights. If you don't necessarily have to be in the middle of The City, this is probably the best way to spend some time in the hotel. Rooms are modern, a shower room is in the room. And all for under €100b. — without a reservation.

I've been to this Motel One twice so far.
Both times I have had very friendly staff at the reception but also in the morning at breakfast.
The rooms have always been clean and corresponded to the booking. In both cases I have had a quiet night so far without any noise (street etc. )
Of all, the easy access to local transport and, of course, the general location of the hotel should be emphasized.

Expectations exceeded! The staff is friendly throughout. The reception is well organized and informed very carefully. The room and wet cell are neat and clean. The bar in the foyer has an extensive range of drinks. Breakfast is extensive and of high quality.

Great value for money. Rooms are spartanic but spacioua enough, great lounge / bar area downstairs.

You get what you pay for. The rooms are small but nice and clean and fit the need for a one night stay.

Nice ambiente, clean and modern rooms, friendly staff and good location in the City. Very good sound proofing in the rooms. Only a few minutes to the Hamburg harbor and a some great restaurants.

The rooms are nice and roomy, the location is very central and they habe a good gin bar: expensive but comprehensive.

Nice Hotel, tidy, spacious enough rooms. Getting an elevator in the morning is a mess, didn't try the breakfast, but it did look good.

Usual Motel One atmosphere with the Aquarium instead of a camp fire as a Screensaver. The location is excellent to start exploring the city at night. Service was friendly and otherwise, nothing wrong with that.

Sehr aufmerksames nettes personal, super lage um hamburg in alle richtungen zu erobern, sauberes zimmer, die bar die abends eine nette location für den schlaftrunk bietet, ist morgens auch frühstücksraum. Fürs frühstück leider nur suboptimal.

Price / performance ratio is completely in order. Super Central location, clean and modern rooms. Since the Lobby and the Bar may be used in the morning at the same time as the Breakfast room, it can be because of the peak times very crowded and therefore uncomfortable. The target group of young people.

Very nice as all the other Motel One. The Rezepzionisten are all friendly and helpful. This also applies to the evening Bar. The only drawback is the crowded Breakfast buffet is…

Small rooms, but nice design. No thrills, but okay for short stays up to two days.

I can quiet conscience recommend. A Top Location. Close to everything by foot. The rooms are clean and very well equipped. In the bathroom only the best of the best. The staff is always friendly. Whether in the morning or in the night. Breakfast was sufficient and everything very fresh. Even the eggs were with love painted. Would love to come back.

Auf das Wesentliche beschränkt. Das MotelOne am Michel ist super gelegen. Sauber und gepflegt. Typisch für MotelOne ist das Weglassen von unwesentlichen Dingen, wie Spa — Bereich oder Telefon und Minibar. Dafür gibt es günstige Preise und saubere Zimmer.

The Motel one. Consistently clean and well maintained. Underground Parking, however, is unclear and when I was there, unfortunately, full. Next Parking Michel Garage around the corner.

Motel One just. Nothing fantastic, but by the Bank, all is well. Very good location on the Michel, in a quiet room, with the near Ubahnstation. A little bit of space at Breakfast.

Very centrally located, short walk to Cathedral, to Michel, to Hafencity. Quickly in the city centre. Very quiet room. Noise from the hallway or from the busy street was not heard. Everything neat and clean. Breakfast was ok (coffee, delicious bread baked, no scrambled eggs). Sufficient (but 15 euros per day) Parking. Once was the car Park but unfortunately full. Staff very multicultural, very nice, all super friendly and attentive. We were already the second Time, but certainly not the last Time there.

++ We felt from the outset very well. The lady at the reception was friendly and to our Well-being endeavored. Our room in the 8. Floor was allowed us as a brand to be used. All brand NEW and really very consistent in turquoise and dark brown. The premises is small but fine and the price/performance ratio is therefore suitable! ++ The view was also very nice. Not only the two Stage theatre ("The miracle of Bern" and "the lion king") were from the rooms is very good to see. The Motel is centrally located to Michel, the piers at the harbour and the Reeperbahn entertainment district — which for us was perfect, as we all well get. ++ The Breakfast left (for a Motel! ) no wishes open. Everything was very beautifully done and very clean. The staff was again very accommodating and thoughtful. — — The Only minus point goes to the parked Elevator in the night! We arrived at 3 o'clock, quite tired from our city break back and looking forward already to the new bed. After the many steps in the 8. Floor was of fatigue, however, for now not much to feel All in all, we are the Motel One certainly recommend.

Good price/performance ratio — how to get there from the Motel One is used to. Good location — 15 minutes walk to Jungfernstieg. The Breakfast room in the "Rush-Hour" is rather small. Wi-Fi is, unfortunately, slowly, to a point, the optimized.

Elképesztően hangulatos, tökéletesen felszerelt hotel. Sajnos a falak vékonyak, az emeleten mászkálást tökéletesen lehet hallani, viszont a belváros közepén van, és a színvonalhoz, elhelyezkedéshez képest baromi olcsó.

Not a fancy hotel, but a fantastic motel concept. Clean, comfortable, efficient and affordable.

Motel One is billed as a good value hotel ideal for business trips, so I was expecting beige rooms the size of broom cupboards. Luckily I was wrong. The rooms are very well-designed and comfortable but simple — so don't expect mints on your pillow or a minibar stashed with overpriced tins of nuts. So not only are the rooms a decent size, the beds comfy and the 'rainforest' shower amazing, they all come with free Wi-Fi. And despite being next door to a very busy road, I wasn't disturbed by any of the traffic noises. There's a breakfast for 7EUR (which I slept through. ) and Hamburg airport is a 20EUR taxi ride away. I'm sure I'll be back in Hamburg soon and I wouldn't hesitate to book another night or two here. Motel One is perfect if you need somewhere to sleep and shower, but if you want something for a special occasion then you might want to look elsewhere.

Hamburg resident suggested to stay here, and it turned out pretty well. Good location, staff were very helpful, hotel is pretty clean, and the cost was very fair. Make sure you have a telephone, Wi-Fi works well (slight pain is that you have to re-log in everytime your computer or phone goes to sleep). I'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel. Very nice and friendly employees. The hotel is perfectly located in proximity to nearly every attraction in Hamburg like the reeperbahn or the harbor. Recommendable without regrets.
