Thank you for a very nice holiday. We really enjoyed your service, food, and drinks. The atmosphere in the beergarden was great too. Thank you also for the breakfast bag you gave us because we had to leave on an early train.

Very friendly staff. Offers good Bavarian food. I had the Schnitzel there, and it was really good. The prices seemed reasonable to me. The location is nice. They have a nice beer garden though it is close to the road so it can a bit noisy. It seemed very busy inside on the Sunday I was there, so it would probably good to reserve if possible.

After all, 2 vegan dishes on the very extensive menu (once tofu with vegetables and a baked potato). However, it is relatively expensive, but there is no meat on it.
But the dishes are very lovingly prepared and also taste excellent.

Quite cozy furnished, with lots of details. I like it, two of our group of 6 found it too much. Matter of taste. Quite decent portions, schnitzel, roast pork and Entengröstel were very good. With the ox breast, two discs were unfortunately still tough, the others were very tender, different pieces halt. When I was paying, I told the waiter who was really funny and fit, and mailed it as a small apology to get an espresso. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Great hotel, friendliness as you rarely experienced! We always like to come back for years and boots to the monastery Andechs high. Rooms are very clean and cozy furnished. The gastronomy is great, the food of the first cream.
The mattresses should probably be renewed by one class better, already with several people dagegewesen, the opinion was unanimous. I personally always had strong back pain.

Everything fits just here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything under one roof, cozy restaurant, afterwards in the bar and hotel is still there.

Feel-good astromie for kneeling! Food at its finest with imaginative dishes such as cheese pätzle with different cheeses, very tasty, or schnitzel, tender meat and baked in butter, great crisps skillfully spiced roast potatoes and then pancakes for dreaming! And a service of the very best with kindness, attention and humour. Exceptionally good. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely place right by the lake with good service. I was there for a company dinner and 5 courses were served. Each course was looking wonderful and was delicious. The portions were very small but after the 5th course I don't think any one was still hungry. Unfortunately I cannot provide any information on the prices.

It was today sooo cozy in the parlor of the post in reigning.
All decorated with a lot of Santa Claus and Christmas themes.
The food as always delicious.
The service is refreshing and pleasantly friendly.

Unfriendly Operation. The Easen was pretty good. On the question of whether or not a bottle with tap water can be filled for the dogs, I was sent into the toilet. Outrageous.

Best bavarian kitchen in the region. Ottmar — the chef — is from Graz, Austria and has raised the bar pretty high! One of the best "Schweinsbraten" in Oberbayern.

I have eaten several times now and it was very good every time. The staff is friendly and competent, the ambiance is great, lots of nice ideas and the food is also excellent — highly recommended!

Portions are very small, but every senior citizen is a feast.
The food was lacking in spice — unfortunately had a very yarn taste.
The waitresses were very friendly. However, I was approached by a gentleman very outrageous and levelless — to deal with absolute insolence with customers.
Later it turned out that the said gentleman is also a part of the management.
No further recommendation.

Non ho gradito il servizio che, dopo essersi dimenticato il nostro ordine, non si è preoccupato di fare sconti ne di offrire qualcosa. Il nostro piatto è stato sostituito con altre vivande ottime ma reputo quello che è successo un errore non da poco.

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, I thought I'd try out Gasthof zur Post in Herrsching am Ammersee for Sunday lunch. The food was absolutely excellent! I had the roast pork ribs with Knödle (dumpling) and Sauerkraut, served with a rich gravy. For dessert, I had the Eiskaffe, which is two scoops of espresso ice cream with espresso and whipped cream. I would highly recommend.

Das Hotel zur Post ist an einer gut befahrenen Straße gelegen. Die Entfernung zum Ammersee beträgt ca. 800m (ca. 10 Gehminuten). Parkplätze am Abend nicht ausreichend vorhanden, da auch leider Gäste des Biergarten die Parkplätze nutzen. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und bekamen zügig unsere Zimmerschlüssel. Typisch bayrisch ausgestattetes Hotel. Insofern man Duschgel, Rasierschaum, Haarspray, etc. Vergessen haben sollte, stehen diese von Nivea im Bad zur Verfügung, oder man kauft sich diese im Rossmann gegenüber. Teils könnten die Wände einen neuen Anstrich benötigen. Keine Rollläden, sondern nur helle, lichtdurchlässige Vorhänge vorhanden, daher ist man leider relativ früh wach. Hellhörige Türen runden dieses Angebot entsprechend ab. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist top, hier fehlt es an nichts. Sogar frischen Orangensaft könnte man sich pressen. Trotz der genannten Mängel ein gutes Hotel, welches ebenso eine gute Ausgangslage für jegliche Ausflüge hat.

The room was very tidy. In the bathroom many free toiletries! At breakfast, there is much selection!

Since situated in new hands by Elisabeth and Otmar Walch's experienced a new boom! The very experienced host pair made it that the locals come back more in the great beer garden under the old chestnut trees.
Generally, the beer garden has been improved tremendously. A new return station for the glasses, the grill, the… here you can withstand long and well it — highly recommended!
It is also striking that the also hotel with much love is treated. The Dekokönigin Elisabeth has 100 ideas that always offer something new to the amazement.
The new home-style menu does with dishes from Bavaria and Austria the rest so that you can feel just contented as a guest. For that you've got a excellent from us!

New Year's Eve Dinner 2015 A big praise to the Service, despite the Stress very friendly and fast. The menu was, unfortunately, below average, pretty cocky on the card is announced but nothing behind it. Starter plain spreads to the plain bread, 2. Course salmon Tartar on a wilting lettuce leaf, 3. Gang, a soup of indefinable, announced with artichoke, saffron, and truffles on top of sponge, a lonely Petersilienblatt, the main course, my Red Snaper is in the Oil drowned and the vegetables, only the Dessert was delicious Crème brûlée with fresh fruit. 69 € is a proud price for it and less decorative nonsense would be also not bad.

Cosy room (quiet and calm) and very friendly staff. Freshly cooked scrambled eggs in the morning and a range with much attention to detail.
Also a beer garden and restaurant with very good food.

Very nice, typical Bavarian beer garden with very tasty food at the Inn. The map is very nicely designed and very entertaining. Very crispy but soft cutlet. Friendly staff and every dish is available also in a small portion. We will be back!

The location is wonderful, the staff friendly, alone the food was below-average quality: the salad dressing too little, very bland, the potato salad to sour, the Tarte Flambée unseasoned. Only the prices were salted! — Too little is thought to the vegetarian/vegan guest! —

Hotel is recommended, simple but clean and good beds. Personal and very nice Service at reception and Breakfast, Breakfast of very good quality! Here, we had nice and relaxing days at the Ammersee.

The Inn is located between the station and the Andechs Abbey. The March of the or you should go absolutely to the monastery. The big chestnut-shaded beer garden really inviting.
The restaurant is a poem of Bavarian and Austrian cuisine. From the fried chicken over the suckling up the pancakes. Because you realize just that the Cook has correctly learned his craft.
For this dinner we drive regularly over 100 km just to find a nice day even better to make.
In the local holds sway and switches the Elisabeth with a panache that is second to none. Through their heartfelt way, it feels the same as in your own living room and is in really good hands.
The service is very attentive and fast. Empty glasses to be quickly filled and empty plates cleared away quickly. Special requests are no problem.
If it were not so far to drive for us, then we had long been the post to our hangout!
