We really felt welcome. Very clean airy rooms, great view from the balcony, excellent breakfast with different menus every day. Rooms and breakfast area are well designed and in impeccable conditions. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back.

Best small hotel ever! Gorgeous, with super welcoming proprietors, amazing breakfast offering featuring home baking and stunning private lake and views of surrounding mountains. Perfect peaceful location with excellent marked walking trails passing right by the doorstep, yet centre of town just a few minutes' walk away.

Great property, great breakfast, amazing tranquility. Unbelievable! Will stay here again if in the area, no doubt.

We only had the pleasure of staying one night due to being fully booked. We even asked to stay in the barn or not pay so we would have to work our debt off to stay longer in this wonderful place lol. Every room has a view of the mountains and forests surrounding Berchesgaden and Obersalzberg. Will arrange to come back. Heidi the owner and host is fantastic. Full of information, ideas and energy. Wonderful place full of happy memories.

One of the most picturesque places…

We visited this hotel second time and both visits war extraordinary experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and wonderful location.

We have traveled all around the world, and we make it a point never to return to the same place twice. The Hotel Gablerhof made us violate our own rules! We stayed there for 5 nights in 2013 (see previous review), and we returned for 6 nights this May. There was plenty more hiking to do, and many more castles to see, but we would not have returned if it weren't for the Gablerhof. And everything was just as perfect as it was before! As I said in the previous review, the room was perfect — comfortable bed, plenty of space, modern bathroom with great shower, a comfortable sitting area for the evening, a great big wardrobe to hang things, a lovely view over the lake and mountains from the balcony. Everything immaculately clean! And great attention to detail. For example, there were two sets of towels in the bathroom each set a different color, so you knew whose towels were whose. And two towel racks so everyone had a place to hang their towels. (Good luck finding that in another hotel! ) Loved the double sinks, so we each had our own. The Gablerhof is in a peaceful residential neighborhood just outside the town. Very quiet. Plenty of car parking for the hotel. A nice little church nearby for a pleasant evening walk. A 5-minute drive into the town for dinner. About a half-hour drive to Berchtesgaden area and wonderful hiking! Our hosts, Heidi and Georg, were delightful as before — very friendly and helpful and efficient with everything. The breakfasts are amazing!

Here I found a little jewel, nice hosts, great Wi-Fi, great running track at the hotel, great rooms, beautiful view, and and and… like to again :)
Addendum: The breakfast buffet would be worth a sixth star!

I Bert eighth Courtview Gabler as a secret, at which one always in doubt is whether you should let others participate, or rather continue on its own.
The lovable boss is a pleasure if you morgends comes to the sensational breakfast buffet. She's always there and no request is too much. Very high quality, daily changing, fantastically good desserts and cakes, are a serious temptation for the figure.
The idyllic Lake with a rowing boat, a feeling faiq-new holiday. This is not least due to the wonderful location of the Court, to determine.
The rooms with large bathrooms and balcony, are clean and quiet.
The team is friendly and always approachable when it comes to special requests.
I always like to come back even if it's just a couple of days.

This holiday I will not forget a super Hotel is quietly yet centrally located, you can with the bike and also to walk in the city in 15 min walking, the rooms are great and really clean and the Breakfast with home-baked cakes where can I get something else I'm really excited about next year, I will come again, and even longer 6 days are too little.

Also at our third stay, we were thrilled by the Gabler justice. Relaxed alone arriving in scenic surroundings – the Hof is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest overlooking a small lake and mountain panorama in the background, which can be enjoyed from most rooms. The owners are unbeatable friendly, helpful, give tips for companies and gastronomy and make above all an excellent breakfast (in a cosy "Stube") : the eggs are from farmers and not from the bag, the coffee is no typical hotel mix and there are homemade every day: cake, tubular pasta, Zwetschgendatschi etc. The rooms are spacious, clean and furnished with much sense for practical details. The Gabler Hof offers much personal touch (and no hospitality from the rod), how to find them only occasionally. The unbeatable price/performance ratio makes final pension to a recommendation. We have visited this unique, certainly not for the last time.

We spent 5 nights in June at the wonderful Gablerhof, and wished we could have stayed longer! We had a spacious double room with balcony overlooking the little lake and the mountains. The room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable king-size bed, sofa and chair. There was a large wardrobe in which to hang things, and plenty of drawers. The bathroom was clean and fairly large (by European standards) with a double vanity and good stall shower, and plenty of room to hang your towels. Good toiletries. A beautiful, restful place to return to at the end of fun-filled days of hiking in the alps and sightseeing in Salzburg. The breakfasts that Heidi and Georg served each morning were amazing! Plenty of fresh and dried fruits. Especially the fresh strawberries, which were in season. A variety of fresh breads and jams and cereals. A variety of sliced cold cuts and cheeses. A hot egg dish and a hot meat dish that varied each morning. And some sort of fish — shrimp, smoked salmon, herring — each day. And it was so lovely eating out on the terrace each morning, overlooking the fields and a pretty church and the mountains. How could you not have a good day with a start like that? The Gablerhof is not in downtown Bad Reichenhall, but across the river Saalach in a quiet residential area. We found this to be a very GOOD thing. We had the peace and quiet and ease of parking outside town, but were only a few minutes away by car.

Who once spent a few days in the courtyard of Gabler, will be just as excited as we!
A kindhearted and helpful to boss, nature around the pension pur, a super buffet breakfast, and very spacious rooms.
Around many possible destinations, just great for a short or even longer holiday!

Great place! Lovely hotel, very clean. All rooms overlooking the Lake and mountains. Spacious, clean, well cleaned. Decide all questions for 2 minutes. Very tasty and varied breakfast. The hostess Heidi hotel we simply fell in love. She clever! I advise everyone to go there. An ideal location for exploring the surroundings. Within walking distance of excellent spas. Very close to ride all the attractions. Will come back again and again. Thank you.

We spent perfect vacations in Bavarian Alps! And the Hotel Garni Gablerhof is really perfect place to cool down and get rest from city life. We're so happy we've discovered such a wonderful place. We just fell in love with it and all of us fell in love with Heidi, the Hotel owner. Thank you so much for a such wonderful time we have spent here. We are looking forward to visit this place again next time when we will have another Bavarian car journey.

A very nice hotel.
The location is stunningly beautiful. The views of the mountains and the noise of the nearby forest immediately produced an unforgettable vacation.
The staff was always very helpful. The breakfast could be. Rare to find really fresh food in a breakfast in this class.

If the mountains in the clouds disappear, the snow covers the meadows, or the courtyard of Gabler is with the mountains in the Sun, it's always beautiful!

In total there are very good. Rooms were clean, the breakfast is rich and the family always friendly and helpful. Also there is a private Lake with boat to the hotel ;).
