The hotel is right in the city center in the pedestrian area. The rooms are a bit old fashion but clean and big. Breakfast was amazing!

The Hotel is in its Years in some Places, but it still has a sophisticated Charisma. The Service has earned 5 Stars, friendly and very accommodating. The Location in the Pedestrian Zone is perfect and the Parking space behind the House is also very inexpensive at 8 Euros. I highly recommend this Hotel!

Stately and imposing hotel.
The bathrooms are in their old years and could use a renovation. In general, the hotel is a bit old, but this does not dismiss the charm. Breakfast is great. If you are looking for a place to stay right in the city centre, and you value a beautiful facility, you've come to the right place.

We actually wanted to relax a bit on the weekend. The hotel has been in the years. Our room was clean though, but it was terrible due to the balcony door. The heating in the room took some time to create a tolerable temperature. Furthermore, the room seemed to be in a part of the hotel which urgently needs modernisation.
In this case we had to walk long distances with the luggage.
The breakfast was fine.
The dinner at the Axelstueble came after the order surprisingly fast and tasted like out of the bag.
A major recession would blow up the place here.
All in all. We cannot recommend the house to anyone.

Awesome room with great views. Great beds accommodation s we're fantastic. Food was delicious and the buffet had more selections of food than I had experienced anywhere.

Very nice but old hotel with an imperial flair you feel kinda like a count. The breakfast is delicious and the staff friendly The sauna is okay the swimming pool very nice and there is a great salt grotto.

The hotel has a nostalgic charm. We found it nice that many things still remain in original conditions. Man feels at times as in the King or Empire and can imagine how it used to be. Whoever is looking for today's high-tech modernism is completely wrong here anyway. Good room, nice bathroom. A nice swimming pool and a sufficient sauna. The breakfast is very good and the dinner is also okay. The staff are very nice and helpful. Also the central location and the proximity to the thermal baths round off the whole thing positively. All in all, price — very good performance. We from Stuttgart will recommend you and definitely come back sometime. Greetings.

Very good hotel, it does a bit ' kitch ' but it's clean and serious. It's a little hard to find because the GPS makes you run around in circles. On the other hand, a pity that the parking is paying and is difficult to find a place. The breakfast is plentiful, lots of choice, whether sweet or salty. The room is spacious. Welcome very good.

Actually a nice hotel, great location. Breakfast & Dinner were delicious. Unfortunately in some places in the room have already come over the years. The room was rather rustic. In the bathroom, mould was created on the wall and in the joints.

It was very pleasant to have made us feel very comfortable, and our satisfaction. Everything very clean and well maintained. Every visit is worthwhile.

Impressive hotel with extremely friendly and courteous staff. The cuisine is excellent and rich in choice. The rooms are nicely furnished and the bathroom very well equipped and both very clean and well maintained.
Of course one can see at one or the other place that such a large and historic building has to be renovated again and again, but this also spreads a certain charm.
It is necessary to mention here also the beautiful natural garden with large pond and large old trees.

Nice large rooms, although a bit dated but the hotel's charm makes it out. Breakfast is plentiful and good dinner is also excellent. A nice hotel with swimming pool, sauna, fitness and solarium.

We felt very comfortable here. The rooms are very nice and cozy. It was clean too. Friendly staff. Only the paths with luggage were a bit long but we were able to live well.
The hotel's own park is very nicely laid out.

The price is reasonable, the room is clean and sanitary room is very classical style, whether the walkway or rooms are carpet-style and the bed is soft just good sleep breakfast is good to eat inside the swimming pool and gym Oh!

Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. A beautiful park right next to the house. The house is very much in need of renovation.
The defective safe in the room seems to have been known for some time. You can use a larger safe at the reception.
A huge hole in the rug in front of the balcony. The tooth of time gnaws at all corners.

Nice hotel, great employees! Food could be sometimes better… but I noticed they are working on it and is getting better with every stay I have there.

Wonderful rooms, incredibly helpful staff, and a sumptuous breakfast that will keep you hiking long enough to reach the mountain restaurant for a late afternoon lunch.

This hotel has seen its best days — nonetheless it's still top class. Expect a hotel with a history and rooms and floor that were designed for a different era. The staff is competent and friendly. The rooms are clean and in good condition, better than in many newer hotels. A little small in my opinion. The food is excellent, although rather ordanary in variety and presentation. Dinner is buffet style — a la carte would suit such a hotel better. Wi-Fi included and with good coverage. Parking lot behind the building is a bit small and rather uncept. Also bit far away, you are charged 7€/day. Location of premise itself is excellent, right in the high street, not far from the station.

Most adorable hotel and great staff. You will get a real German experience in a old German style hotel. And that is great and bad. No AC, hard beds, one pillow that you fall right thought. Pool is broke, and as for a spa? 1 masseuse that sets her own hours. Loved that we stayed here but would never do it again.

The breakfast and the dinner are for a 4 * Hotel measured. The room carpet is laid and very spacious. Most of the rooms are even made of 2 sinks, so two people can use the bathroom at the same time.
The reception / front desk is very friendly and is open 24 hours. If you are travelling with your own car, will face 6-7 per day parking fee € at least.

After the free ceremony on Saturday I've allowed a break in the beautiful Bad Reichenhall Hotel Axelmannstein me.
Due to the many negative reviews, I was worried whether I will enjoy your stay.
I believe that the bad reviews are completely unfounded. The listed hotel has its own charm. The entrance and the staircase are very charming. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly.
The room was quite large, which is rather rare in a modern House. The rooms are comfortably furnished, if not too modern. The bathroom is also extremely generous measure for a standard room. The rooms and the entire hotel was very clean.
The buffet was really sufficient. I am of the opinion that here is something for everyone here. The breakfast room is stunning and simply has his own style, almost like a Viennese coffee house.
The spa area with a sauna, only is maybe a little small given the size of the hotel, felt but there too well.
It remains only to say: I'm coming back and that in May.

Although I regret only 3 stars awarded to it would be not more justified. The Hotel exudes a certain Charm if you have the website and also the Hotel name reads — can these but then unfortunately, does not hold. The staff is VERY friendly and eager — which is not about hinwegtröstet that for a completely run-down Parking lot (something I frankly have never been at a Hotel of this category) per month or part of a day just 8 Euro to pay. We had a 1 Night stay for just 120 euros and the Park costs in the amount of about 16 Euro for me, this is not in the relationship. Also is the Parking (if you call it like that) in a furchbaren condition as the car Park facing side of the hotel. The rooms are good and visually the taste inferior than the Hotel part was Renovated. But that is OK — the pool would need a refresher — as well as the Sauna and shower. — But as I said — here, I have no miracles expected. All in all a lovely Hotel — this time an Intense Malereinsatz needed — also, once all the defects / dangling parts in the pool to be dismantled. (Curtain/Blinds…)

The hotel is quiet, but centrally located in the pedestrian zone.
The Interior has been maintained, but everything is very old-fashioned.
The hotel is certainly better as suitable for young people for seniors.
The staff is friendly and accommodating.

I know this Hotel from the time when it was still at Steigenberger belonged and would have been 5 stars. The year have left their mark and it is now quite old and in urgent need of a renovation. But you can still the charm of a bygone "Golden times" are still Felt and it is still worth a recommendation!

Wonderful historic hotel with garden and pond. In the pond the trout swims. One of the Russian governors. It was very useful. A good full Breakfast. Close to all interesting places. Were in April 2014 and in September we continue.

The Hotel has seen better days. The furniture and doors are sometimes heavy wear and the silicone in the bathrooms has mold stains. 3 star would be more adequate than 4.
