Rude and not welcoming would advise manager leaving the business he's not cut out for it! Rooms very noisy with heavy traffic also church bells at 6 am. Rooms have free ear plugs which was the give away, give this a miss.

I stayed in the deer during a seminar for 3 days. The accommodation was cheap, a bit dated but acceptable. The mini TV in the room is very small and the free wireless is slow, the mobile network is far fixer.
The staff and host are honest friendly. Dinner is tasty and inexpensive, the breakfast should be a bit more varied (more fresh fruit/salad), but full of the day you will.

Excellent beer and fed not bad.

Clean bright rooms with everything you need. Breakfast is plentiful. In the restaurant there are good cheap dishes. Parking spaces are available.

The owner is quite rascist.
Keeps shouting on simple issues.
Rooms poorly maintained. Almost heard it 10 times 'This is a guest house not a hotel'.

Had two meals here as the place were staying at did not do an evening meal. Service and staff excellent and very welcoming. Good price and excellent well presented food. If out this way again we would certainly use it again. Thanks to the staff on both visits.

I do not recommend this place! Pro: A clean place Cons: 1. The guesthouse is very close to a church, which rings bells starting 6am every morning. So if you are a late sleeper, you cannot have a good night's sleep. 2. Lack of ventilation in the room meant we had to leave the windows open, but that resulted in insects and lot of noise in the room. 3. We spoke only English and struggled a lot to even have basic conversation because nobody speaks or understands English. 4. If you are vegetarian, you will struggle to find much edible food for breakfast, so do not buy the breakfast there. 5. No elevator meant we had to drag our luggage up and down 3 floors.

The food is very tasty and inexpensive, however, change the operations very often, making the Service very changeable from very nice to totally bitchy and rude.

This is one of the best, friendly guesthouse/hotel that I have ever stayed in, food is wonderful and the owner gave us a great welcome.
