So for the star count I was already in hotels that were far better and had fewer stars.

Staff is friendly. Rooms are not neatly clean. Although only small things are dirty or dusty, they immediately stand out. Then I got a room where you can move the intermediate wall if you had a key to make two rooms one. Basically a good idea if you need a bigger room. Only the intermediate wall does not stop any real noise so that you can hear every word from the neighboring room.

That meant because my room neighbor very loud snorted a restless and short night. The prices in the restaurant are very expensive, even if the food is delicious. The prices for a cocktail are also quite overpriced. By and large, this was the first and last time in this hotel.

We have stayed in more than 30 different Novotel in Europe and North America and this is by far the best experience for us. The staff is extremely professional and polite. They were always trying to make us feel comfortable. The underground garage is very well illuminated and ventilated. It has automatic doors so you don't need extra help for opening the door with your luggage. Every space for the cars is very ample. The breakfast is outstanding with fresh orange juice and omelet with very fresh ingredients. The coffee is excellent. The breakfast room is very nice, with a lot of seats, quiet, clean and very well attended by the staff. The rooms are super clean. Every day the cleaning staff did an excellent job. We didn't had to call the front desk for towels, shampoos, etc. We were offered 5 different plush toys for our daughter. We are really happy about the service that we received. It's at the same level to the service in the Pullman brand. Thank you for your great job. If we return to Karlsruhe we will stay again in this Novotel and we will recommend it to family and friends.

Nice rooms, air conditioning works really well (many good hotels in Germany won't have nicely working air conditioners. Good service, good breakfast…

Great hotel. Accor quality. Right in the middle.

Beautiful hotel with correct staff but without personal attention. Clean, Wi-Fi functional. Cute entertainment with the upper. It also tasted. Breakfast very extensive. Garage quite expensive. But that's what else. What bothers me extremely, guests with CH number allow their cars to be parked at and unloaded and leave them there. That's not okay towards the other guests.

Very nice hotel. In the center of city. Surrounded by nice beer garden and traditional karlsruhe food with nice cheese. I think it's bit overpriced just because it is near to the exhibition hall and to the city.

Lovely hotel with very accommodating staff with fair English speaking skills. Secure paid parking available. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. Atmosphere is light and airy due to the two open verbal areas, meaning many rooms have city views. Small gym with sauna, but no pool.

You know what I like about Novotel Karlsruhe (or Novotel in general)? They have always been on-point. Friendly, courteous, accommodating, priced just right and always clean and modern. Came across Novotel Karlsruhe during a cross-Europe motorcycle trip (in the middle of the night). They were happy to have us. Also, booking Novotel in Europe, always call the hotel and book directly, much cheaper that way. Sage parking for cars and motorcycles; they even let us park our bikes on the side of the big entryway, very nice of them indeed! Will most definitely come here again!

Hotel basically nice, just like any Novotel. Great breakfast. Unfortunately I got no points written for my stay. I can't do that. At 80% of the hotels I get points and that was one in which I got none. The excuse is the same every time and it is not acceptable.

That's a good and modern hotel, but I really don't recommend you try it in winter time. Room was really freezing. Although we got an electrical heater, but that's was not enough. That was really easy going by staff, seams it's really common. I slept with all my clothes on.

I really liked what I saw from the hotel. We were just at the bar and had a drink before eating. As far as everything is good, nice service, prices also OK. The overall impression is very positive, the location for a city stroll in Karlsruhe is excellent and all around it is also offered. Great!

Very nice, if not even the best (business) hotel in Karlsruhe. I am often here on business and like the central location as well as the functional modern style of the house. The staff is always friendly and uncomplicated. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and above all delicious. Highly recommended:-)

The Novotel in Karlsruhe is a good option for business trips or short trips. The friendliness of the staff is strongly day-dependent and in the morning at eight during the week one should bring some time for the check out. The rooms are a little dated for my taste but clean and there is a bathtub which is a big plus. It is also quite quiet at night despite great street outside the door. In addition, the Windows can be opened. The breakfast at the hotel is solid, but in the vicinity there are also several small cafes and restaurants if you are looking for an alternative.

As always the pillows used in all Novotel hotels are suck. For the rest I have no complaints.

Beautiful room nothing to complain.

A nice building, clean rooms, directly with underground garage (costs really extra), central location, good facilities. But: the hotel uses one shamelessly! The first night €78 then €178 for the same simple double room, because there were no other free hotels in Karlsruhe at this time! Absolute impudence!
The relegated is still okay for €78 but will not do justice to the €100 anymore! Not in the neck!
Directly in front of the hotel is currently (until 2019) the subway built. If you want to be awakened by a Betonsäge or a drill, you should check in here.
Oh yes — breakfast is nice but costs €20 per person. In the cafes in the surrounding streets you get a super breakfast for 2 people for €20

Nice hotel, easy walk to the palace and market place. Good restaurant at the hotel. Nice fitness center with sauna. Massage available. No pool.

While the hotel itself is very neat, modern and generally performs well in terms of value vs. Price (I generally have nothing bad to say about NOVOTELS I've stayed in), the annexed bar/cafe leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the young (er) wait-staff can be quite rude and impatient, not to say disrespectful. Enjoy at your own risk. Customer Service of waiters in Germany in general is not what Northern Americans (U. S. + CDN) are used to. Currently, the City of Karlsruhe is undergoing major downtown construction projects to put their surface-level street-cars underground, causing traffic and access issues around the downtown area which also affects getting to and from the hotel. However, overall, the hotel can be recommended.

Within city and trains, bus stations, shopping mall, medicine shop, pubs, theatre, zoo, museum and many more places within 2-5 minutes walk… Very nice experience…

Great location and new facilities.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I stay here for business on a regular basis, travelling from the UK. The staff speak perfect English, they are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and fresh. The restaurant offers great food and I am impressed time and time again. I will always come back here — in fact I will be back in 3 weeks! Thanks to all who work there for such a fantastic hotel experience.

Big and good room, nice breakfast. Wifi service is not so good.

We were on a nightcap at the bar at the Novotel concert after the Helge Schneider. We are been served friendly and the price performance was more than acceptable. Other cocktail bars have significantly higher prices.

Solid hotel, modern amenities, with bigger rooms than I expected. A little further away from city center than some other hotels, but still just a short walk to shopping, museums, etc. An easy 5 minute taxi ride to the hauptbanhof (central train station).

So 5 stars were not. No complimentary water in the room. Staff are not friendly. Breakfast was a joke for ein5sterne hotel. The location is perfect. For the price I would have expected more.

All very friendly, everything clean and well maintained also the Spa is for relaxation in between very well without the more costs. On requests, there were bathrobes and slippers directly into the room. The food is slightly expensive but very fresh and it is now a 4 star Hotel. The Cocktails were very tasty and we were well advised by the barman. Thank you for the nice weekend.

Good centrally located Hotel in Karlsruhe City. To Christkindelsmarkt at the Friedrichsplatz it is less than a 5-minute walk. Also the shopping street is just a few minutes ' walk away.

I had the pleasure in staying at the Novotel Karlsruhe for 5 days. The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were always clean and replenished each day unlike some European hotesl nowadays. The one downside was the lack of free internet. But the foyer had free internet. The staff were friednly and helpful. A young lady (Stephanie) at the front desk went beyond her call of duty and found an easier and cheaper option for me to travel to the Baden-Baden Airport at 4am. Well done Stephanie.

Big rooms, good service, aircon, TV with CNN, very professionell business hotel, free coffee until 6.30 am.
