Central hotel with Wi-Fi/breakfast and nice rooms.

Very nice staff. The rooms are very clean and modern. In the middle of the centre. Can only recommend this hotel. Price of performance: very good.

Rooms very nice! There was also a super comfortable bed. I had a room out to the street. Therefore, that in front of the house is directly a tram stop it was a little louder. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, gemütlich und sauber. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, und von der Größe her völlig ausreichend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das einzige Manko an den Zimmern sind die Badezimmer. Diese sind sehr klein und gewöhnungsbedürftig, allerdings für ein Hotel auf jeden Fall ausreichend.

No fridge in the room and no phone (even to get in touch with reception from the room — it's impossible, you have to use your mobile for that. Door from the bathroom, hidden in the wall, was extremely dirty. Reception has different entrance from the rooms area. You have to go out of the building and use another entrance to get to the reception. Even though they are close to each other it's a bit weird and not comfortable especially when it's cold outside.

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. The only thing that bothered me was the breakfast eggs. Leaf battery and the yolk yellow should not be blue-gray. Otherwise everything super.

In this hotel there are a lot of rooms the rooms look nice and clean at first sight but if you look more closely you can see that many little things do not match such as a loose mirror or scratches in the furniture-limed amateurs. The breakfast is ok but could have a little more choice especially on fresh fruit. The only positive thing about this hotel is that the staff is very friendly.

I would not recommend it. Although Central and breakfast is okay, but the rooms have come in the years. For the price there is better.

Watch out! They charge your creditcard for rooms/nights your never had. When confronted they have a bad excuse that they can't return the charged amount! BIG SCAM.

Very good reception. Reasonable price, breakfast very provided and varied. There's a taste for it. The rooms are clean. In the bathroom there is a hairdryer. It is a quiet place in the heart of the city. The hotel has a private car park (price €12), always better than a PV.

Location is great, short distance to city. Bed linen was with a small hole but everything was clean. Service was very nice at check in and check out. Breakfast was standard but had everything back, scrambled eggs etc. For easy stay with breakfast it's okay.

Clean rooms, professional staff, great location. Make sure to get a rear-facing room to avoid street noise. Caveat: Bathroom of standard rooms may be too small and the toilet by layout unusable for guests with obesity. It is advisable to phone in beforehand to get a room with additional accessability. Staff turned out to be very helpful in that regard.

Just for sleeping it was fine. Breakfast woman was very friendly and helpful. Reception Lady Pretty Grumpy, if she is to represent the hotel, she makes something wrong… Breakfast choice good and room basically nice. Unfortunately not very clean. Hair on the floor, beard stubble in the sink, the bathroom goes off, shampoo is not replenished and the floor towel had holes. Otherwise everything is okay. As I said for sleeping.

Positive aspects. Right breakfast. Very friendly staff. Very spacious room. Good location very close to the shopping area and 5 minutes from the Christmas market and 15 from the castle. With the tram at the door. Negatives. The bathroom screen had to be fixed because it was dismantled. The door of the room did not close well and if you were clueless was open. In fact after a morning cleaning, returning at night was open. Good thing I don't miss anything. Very small bathroom. We stayed one morning without hot water. Of course we couldn't shower. Ek water was freezing. No.

Nice hotel in the center of Karlsruhe. The rooms are well equipped and the bathrooms are better than in other hotels in this price range. Everything is very clean. The breakfast selection is good.

Nice hotel, if you are foreign, the reception is a bit hard to find (you have to get out of the hotel and then walk a few meters). Only "Minus point" — in the otherwise very quiet hotel, the trams are very well audible at the door.

The staff was slightly uninterested and spoke poorly in my presence about other guests.
The rooms were tidy but with a group of 7 people there were broken lights in 3 rooms and a previously requested barrier-free room was not available despite reservation.
You will notice the rooms your age and also the location directly on the tram gives a small negative point.
However, the situation is positive. The entire inner city area can be reached on foot or by tram, which has a direct stop in front of the hotel.

Das Zimmer an sich sauber aber in die Jahre gekommen. Wenn man ein Zimmer nach vorne zur Straße raus hat, kann es dank der Straßenbahn laut werden. Ansonsten top und zu empfehlen.

Noisy location, bad WC and service was rather poor, definitely will not come back.

Tiny double room advertised as "superior triple, suitable for 4" "Superior triple room with queen bed and twin bed" — — > in reality "tiny double room with queen bed + foldout bed (very narrow, 1 person) ". This was huge dissapointment and blow on comfort. No way this was a room for 3 adults and 1 child. Felt almost like false advertisement.

The staff and room were brilliant, we will defiantly go back in The future. The only things I felt could have made this a 5* rating would be 1) the bed side lights to work by themselves and not control all the light's in the room. 2) a few more options for breakfast such as croissants and dairy milk.

Comfortable room with desk and lots of storage. Functional bathroom bizarrely equipped with two conspicuous water meters but reassure you the water is included in the price of the room… Well, I guess. Do not underestimate the parking charges, €12/night/car in the garage.

Hotel in Karlsruhe Central area with small room as well as bathroom. In the whole facility not even a beverage vending machine. Decent cleanliness.

Hotel is in central location but you want to make sure to get a room to the back. The train and car traffic will otherwise affect your stay. I was staying during summer, the room was extremely hot — no chance to open the window with the traffic noise outside. Parking for Euro12 is pretty high.

Very underground hotel and service. The hotel room is very run down several cracks in because chairs. Is open to door to the laundry room in the room does not close. Bath is the purest imposition fittings are missing, pubic hair of the guest in the bathtub. Mold on every corner. Absolutely not recommended, even if it is very cheap.

We are checked with two persons in two rooms, which were booked at the same time and for the same price. The rooms, which are both obvious rough er room or were but differed from the facilities and size massively. In one room, a double bed, the other room was just a sofa. Unfortunately it was not in the best condition. So the shower stalls were not completely close or almost fell apart. Stains were also in the double bed of Mrs.
The breakfast buffet was what earned definitely both stars of this review really alright. The rooms, however, maximum a star.

Caution mold alert! At first glance, looks nice, disgusting on the exact. Mold in the bathroom and Windows along the… Strongly renovierungsbedürfdig!

We stayed here on our way to Switzerland for one night. I'm ok with pretty much any kind of accomodation (we slept in mountain cabins for the rest of the week), but this was terrible. The room was terribly hot, but as soon as we opened our windows we had to close them right away. Hotel is on a very busy street with trams racing past every 10 minutes (up till 01.00, I've counted them all). No airconditioning, but there was a fan. To stay here with an upset baby was pretty much torture and one of our worst nights ever (including nights with a screaming new born) Did I mention the Wi-Fi was non-existent? IN the morning there was a line at reception of people either complaining about the Wi-Fi or trying to get a connection. The reception is adjacent to the restaurant's smokers lounge, so there were guests smoking at reception. Reception is in a different building from the restaurant, so it takes some getting used to stairs, elevators etc to go from one place to another. Parking is under the hotel, which is great, but it's a crazy system where two cars occupy one space by means of a scary lift. Don't try it with big cars or lowered cars. Oh, we did get a room upgrade when we checked-in, and the guy at reception said 'maybe you could give us a good review). I was all for that, untill we set foot in the room. Sorry, nice guy. I now wonder what the standard room was like. Websites states that every room has a bath. Ours didn't, but did have a great shower.

Hatte ein Zimmer im vierten Stock. Gross, rein, ruhig sehr gepflegt. Sehr gutes Fruehstueck. Leider sehr schlechter Interenet Anschluss. Badezimmer hatte keine Tuer.

Had a room for 2 nights. Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast with a large selection. A very luxurious hotel bar. Rooms are very well maintained, walk-in shower and a 55-inch TV have this class to stay well-rounded. Happy Again.

Not to see again. I was already in 2012 there once. Back then, everything was "so-so". 2013 was the entire Hotel. Just to recommend! Modern rooms with Flat-Screen, modern reception, friendly staff and a Breakfast of some 5* Hotel something to crib. Directly in the City and still quiet room to the courtyard. I can safely recommend.

Nice hotel, Central location, unfortunately no air conditioning but sons to a nice hotel.

In the bathroom was the entire ceiling with black mold covered. All joints in the bathroom were moldy. On the Windows you looked like the black mold through the Wallpaper came. In addition, there was a modriger smell in the room. When I complained I got a new room. The new room had no mold, but was also not very inviting. The carpet had large stains and dried-in dirt. The Steckdosenblenden were fragmented. From the walls hung open power lines. In the bathroom was a large part of the tiles smashed. The furniture was very old and very dirty. On the bedside table were dried-in stains. It probably has very different types of rooms to give otherwise I can't the positive reviews of other Users explain. But the food was good and the Lounge at the reception and the Essensraum are compared to the rooms at luxury top class.

Clean and quiet Hotel with a first class Breakfast. Unfortunately, poor Television reception.

At 10pm The hotel was closed for check-in, luckily there was a chap who was at the pub next door who gave me the key without even asking me for a document. The room was old, quite smelly, the bathroom ' consumed '. I requested the password for the internet and I was told that the hotel was closed! There is no air conditioning! If you really do not find anything else because it is beautiful below the German standards! Breakfast enough but not good.
