Great hotel, great location, but the food and the restorant staff were terrible. I never had a worst dinner. The staff didn't spoke or didn't want to speak English when we complained. My sisters starter was carapaccio of tomato and pesto: 3 slices of tomato with a little bit peso over it, for €8… She orderd "bib" that was on the English menu, that they explained as spare ribs. It turned out to be "rib eye" stake totally overdone and very dry. I had burned vegtibles, etc, etc. Just don't do it…
➜ We were delighted with the welcome from the staff. At my request, we were able to benefit from a room for 2 adults and 2 children overlooking the small harbour. We were on the 6th floor, a beautiful view. A very nice welcome tray. The room was spacious and nice, the bedding comfortable, no disturbing noise, a top bathroom despite the pressure in the small shower.
On the other hand, an ado for the children's bed would have been desired for hygiene. Small downside for paid parking but everything is facilitated by the hotel.
Breakfast was delicious, what a choice!
To redo without hesitation.

I got a Bongo voucher as a gift and decided to visit Le Havre by staying at Novotel. The voucher included a 1 night, a 3 course dinner and access to the wellness facilities so I was hoping for a very relaxing weekend. We've booked the hotel via the Bongo website where there was no information at all regarding the building works taking place at the hotel so as soon as we arrived we got instantly disappointed with the fact that there was no wellness available. This could be forgiven if the rest of the experience was good. It was not. Dinner was disgusting: food was not fresh and service was terrible (broken glasses, glasses being served by touching the inside, toothpick served by hand, etc) so we decided to ask for the manager that, apparently, was not available. Employees informed us, as an excuse, that everything was not working as it should due to the building works. In general, I don't think that the hotel, as it is now, deserves a 4 star ranking, not even 3 or 2. It was, for sure, my worst hotel experience ever.
