It is a simple hotel, but I have to keep a clean and welcoming hotel.
I made strong to improve the comfort of the rooms as the months passing.

➜ Mediocre hotel. Placed in the city center, but it's his only asset. Run down, or even broken furniture. Television where Teletext displays automatically. Blankets and beds stained. Alaises plastic very uncomfortable. The towels are not replaced. In short, very expensive compared to the service provided.

The people & staff were very helpful and spoke great English. I got a recommendation to stay at this hotel as part of my ride up to Mont Ventoux. The place was pretty quiet around mid October when I went. The location is about 5 minutes up the main street of Avignon City, from where I got off the train (Avignon Centre, which was a transit away from Avignon TGV where the Eurostar arrives and departs). It is quite convenient as it is within the walls of Avignon City, and about 10-15 minutes walk to Palais des Papes. The hotel has bike storage, but I emailed them beforehand just to let them know in advance. The room was ok, I slept relatively well. The shower itself is in the room where I stayed (a single person room, with double bed). The toilet was separate from the room, but is again tolerable. Wi-fi was free, although the signal can be a bit weak the further away you are from reception. In summary, I would definitely stay here again for my next bike trip. If you're willing to pay the extra premium and would prefer a more comfortable stay, then go elsewhere. But keep in mind accommodation within Avignon City (within the city walls) are typically quite dear.
