Spacious room, superb restaurant kitchen!

Great quiet place on a golf course.

A historic building but a warm atmosphere with an ultra available and smiling staff.
The very nice surprise of the dinner which was not the purpose of the trip and turned out to be of high quality.

Unbeatable treatment, quiet cleanliness, nice environment, I do not know a better place and the value for money, unique. The golf course is impressive and very well maintained and the staff is on the lookout at all times to make your stay enjoyable. In addition, something very important never hit you for the time of checkin or checkout.

The setting is beautiful and the welcome of the most cordial. The Covid prevention system is very useful for dining and breakfast in the rooms. Delicious food. Thank you for your kindness.

Beautiful place, we loved this beautiful and relaxing place for our first day of vacation.

Gorgeous Chateau, impressive building and location. Much more than pet friendly amazing caring staff, well behaved dogs may dine along with you
. A fantastic stop over hotel and we arrived in the dark and the lighting in the grounds and hotel very impressive
. Great check in rooms great, staff 100% friendly bi lingual, pre dinner drinks in stunning bar, owner/ manager came and spoke with us great hosting attitude. Maitre D great knowledge of menu dishes, amazing dinner and house red perfect and not pricey as you might expect. Dinner was a delight and nice a cheeky cheese board. Nice selection of malts available and I got us a lovely Oban 14 year old as a night cap. Early checkout so couldn't sample breakfast but would be sure it would be perfect as was everything else. if you are ever passing this way dont go for a budget box hotel/room but treat yourself to this amazing place. Soon to have it's own spa added. Thanks for a memorable stop over. We will be back to see you again.

Perfect overnight stay for ourselves en route to UK. The cats enjoyed it as well. Very spacious and comfortable room.

Perfect setting and welcome. The rest 0 we booked a round table we were told it was possible on arrival it was no longer possible. We had to ask twice for an umbrella because 32 degrees and the first time it was not saying impossible to have. Drinks arrive when the plates are finished you even have to claim the wines and champagne. Slow waiter does not know the catering (example serving the ladies in 1st the wines am just after serving the plate not 10 minutes after.
The meal was of average quality of non-starred restaurants sometimes make better qualities.
I wouldn't recommend your restaurant itself which was supposed to be a nice day for us to be marred by your incompetence.

We are really disappointed with our stay. Starting with the outdoor facilities outside the golf course that leave something to be desired for a charming home. The pool is really not clean let's mention the dirty and washed-out sun loungers.

As for breakfast table, the tables are not straightened and they are wobbly.

In the room 1. Air-conditioning it’s cold but is not bad 2. There are no Refrigerator 3. The water pressure in the shower is not bad 4. They don’t Clean the balcony or the Outside Corredor 5. There are no elevators 6. There Where are new portal to help me 7. The Restaurant It takes forever to take my order 8. I ordered.

2 remarks however, reported to the front desk: we had a room "specific handicapped" but there is no seat in the shower and the tray courtesy (unplugged kettle) is not accessible because the wire is too short and the socket located under a piece of furniture, unless it is put on the ground. Unthinkable for a person in a wheelchair or with reduced mobility.

Hi Restaurant was not able to take me although I arrived before 9pm which was posted as its losire time. The take away restaurant on the main road was expensive and not that good as a recommendation; sea food pizza was not special. The staff at the hotel are lovely and allowed me to eat out the back with take away. Wish I had been told then would have not had to go out again driving after a 6 hours drive to the hotel Thanks.

We have stayed here before under best western and felt it is now not as high a standard overall. We had stayed in the manor house with elevator and did not realize the garden room required 2 floors of stairs as we are elderly and could not manage without help and even then it was a real struggle for both of us, particularly one of us has breathing problems. We did book late and were told only on arrival it was the last room. This should be made clearer from the 1st conversation! and the website! one of the maids saw us struggling and carried the luggage for us. Most helpful! the 8 am breakfast was not at all hot and the eggs were surely powdered. The bacon barely cooked. But the variety and amount was very good. The dinner was odd, ice cream with smoked salmon? also commented on by the next table! my steak was inedible and the salad had not fresh bits of lettuce. The wait staff did their best but 2 youngsters were inexperienced and there were very many people to serve so the experienced staff struggled, but did exceedingly well… so there were some excellent bits and several "could do better" bits which brought down the ratings. all the staff were gracious and hard working to keep up with their demands.

Breakfast could be a lot better. Nice quiet Hotel in a beautiful setting, we stayed here two nights for a visit to Futuroscope which is a 20 minute drive away, rather than staying in a concrete block near the park. Would stay again. Take your own teabags!

It is a warm place in a beautiful park. Too bad, the Sun was not at the rendezvous. The staff is lovely. I'll be back!

Friendly and friendly staff. The restoration is correct but deserves a higher quality in view of the price and the frame. For the same thing hotel… The rooms are nice and the view is pretty, however the bedding is passable and there is little room in the bathroom.

Disappointed by this place that wants to be chic. Terraced room on the first floor facing the stairs. We heard our neighbors all night thanks to the little door that separated our two rooms. In 2018, it would seem interesting to remove the allergenic carpets, or to clean them more regularly.

Splendid place to spend the night. We had booked the room in the mansion with terrace and view of the golf. Room 102. A splendor, spacious (bathroom a cramped with shower in bathtub and WC in the bathroom, but you can not push the walls! ), bedding well firm, small sitting area, 2 large windows, quiet assured. Very large terrace with a breathtaking view. Sun in the morning. What a pleasure. This room costs 130 euros (excluding breakfast), we do not regret to have paid this rate for such a beautiful view!

We enjoyed our stay. About the room nothing to complain about, if this is too small pillows.
And the breakfasts, for this kind of establishment, we found it too common. I find the same breakfast in a very classic hotel.
Otherwise the rest was fine.

Very good reception. Very comfortable and well-soundproofed room. The breakfast was very good. No more accompanying neither alcohols nor coffees.

The place is quiet and conducive to rest. The rooms are a bit small and decorated in a way too "modern" which breaks the old side of the manor. The restaurant offers good food and no frills. The reception and the staff are impeccable!

Indeed we expected to sleep in it.
Yet the family suites are in a clean annex but that does not at all mansion.

Welcome to the mansion of horror! Cobwebs, dust and dirt we are in the world of Halloween (in April…). Establishment really dirty, the rooms are not cleaned (I dare not even know the condition of the carpet) and what's more, we find bits of excrement in the bathroom…
I think the notes should promote golf… Because a normal person can not sleep in this type of establishment. You have to know that the photos are deceptive and that some people find themselves sleeping in an annex that looks like an old motel style USA…
Staff pleasant welcome, but the boss is a cold man, liar and who only aims one thing: the wallet of his clients by avoiding them any comfort.

A nice surprise. Very good relation quality /price for families.

I expected to sleep in the mansion and not in an annex next door, so a little disappointed, but the room was clean, comfortable and quiet, but a terrible warmth, forcing to sleep the window open as impossible to lower the heating. The reception was perfect, staff competent, friendly and smiling.

The restaurant is running. 75th to two to eat a soup, an egg calf (hard… and cold), the overcooked seabream dry and the stew of Lotte Frozen… a glass of wine, stale, and two cocktails (gin fizz). We were really disappointed with the meal. About the hotel the room was nice. The bathroom deserves a refreshing (flaky paint, silicone-glued tiles…). Good location.

We had a comfortable, quiet, well-equipped corner room on the first floor. Very effective heating was, perhaps, too warm for us. The dinner menu was a little limited but was good quality. Buffet breakfast was comprehensive. Refurbishment downstairs is nearly complete and a distinct improvement on the original slightly tired decor. The staff were friendly and helpful and they all seemed to speak English quite well although there were a few amusing, but unimportant, glitches. After we departed we realised we had left a car key somewhere in our room. The receptionist was very helpful in trying to find it, but to no avail. However, we thank her for trying, especially as she was single-handed at the time.

Good reception, we had a nice evening. Having a room + + type "Romantic Evening" would be top as well as passing a rag on the woodwork of the restaurant;-). There is a gap between the bar standing with the rest. We will return, the value for money is quite in line with what we expected.

Excellent responsiveness when we had to cancel our stay after a death. Very good reception, excellent meals, family friendly accommodations and a superb setting.

We had a very warm welcome from David on reception. He was also very helpful with advice on visiting some chateaux and it was interesting talking to him about the time spent in UK. Our welcome drink was very welcome and the food was of a very good standard. It was nice to have the chef take a personal interest in our enjoyment. Great choice for breakfast. We loved the old building which had lots of character in the public areas. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable with everything necessary but it seems a pity that these haven't been fitted out to quite the same quality and character that this lovely old house really deserves.

We were made most welcome, enjoyed our stopover. The meal in the restaurant was nice, and good we could bring the dog with us. Very helpful staff, lovely location. Will recommend.

Another lovely stay at the hotel. Our room was very comfortable. Only comment is that it would be nicer to have a proper cup for the tea/coffee in the room instead of the very small paper cups. I appreciate that you are trying to be an environmentally friendly hotel and the paper cups can be recycled and also save on washing up and therefore water, but the paper cups are really too small!

Took the waiters 25 minutes before we could order a drink at the bar : (So we cancelled our restaurant visit. Poorly staffed! Shower didn't work at the room (606)

We stayed in room 604 with my kids. Air con was it working well and upstairs we stayed. It was hot and my kids could it sleep at all. Hotel should provid a fan for kids beds.

Room was in an attic. A beam ran across the bathtub. This room should be a storeroom and not a room for guests. Also we told them we were leaving at 7am the next morning and no one was there to give us an invoice. Last year we stayed here and it was a Best Western hotel and now it's not. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Suitable for a one night stay on our trip to the sea. We thought the family rooms were more luxurious. Please remove or refurnish the incoming kitchen. The first impression while entering the room is not really good. Overall a nice stay and really good beds and breakfast.

The bathroom of a attic room is small and one cannot stand in the bathtub.
The breakfast is good, but the service is totally absent. The premises are small and not practical when there are people to reach the buffet. Another room is available but you have to prepare your own table:

We had an excellent evening within the hotel. The reception is remarkable, it feels comfortable and welcome.
Our two rooms were warm, comfortable and suitable for a family.
Our regret is not having dinner at the restaurant, the card is appealing.

Overall good stay with a spacious room (room for 4 persons). The breakfast is rather hearty but a little indented compared to a few years. Only negative points, the flush that did not function properly and the antiquated aspect of the "orchard" building. Otherwise very quiet environment and main character building.

I wouldn't highly rate this property because on arrival I found the two staff at the desk very preoccupied with what they were doing to pay us much attention. We asked for a double room and got two singles in an attic room. Which was changed when we requested. There was no hot water for the first morning. Breakfast was OK but the room didn't have a welcoming atmosphere. The tables could have been laid with the cutlery. We had a very long wait between courses when having an evening meal but the food was good, The waiter needed to be aware of his personal hygiene. The second morning there was no hot water but when at breakfast I mentioned it to the receptionist and she sorted it out immediately. The location was ideal as it was near Furturoscope which was where we wanted to be.

To collect opinions, avoid imposing the seizure of a free text, while there is not necessarily something to add to the twenty questions asked.
The environment of the golf course is very pleasant, for example for a small morning walk. Pity that the description panels of holes of each golf hole are not clean (idem arrows in wood orientation to the next hole). It gives the impression of a golf a little neglected. This kind of detail counts for the image of golf and the course (Key asset for the manor)

The room is really good. The place is very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. The food is good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount. A facility where I will return with pleasure.

The hotel with character but that's all, restoration is not at the height, for the price, there are efforts to make, just friendly staff, rooms deserve a fresh look.

I only have one piece of advice: don't go to the restaurant! The dishes served are worthy of a canteen: cooking is not inventive, no subtlety in the flavors, nothing has stood out from the entrance to the dessert… it is same ecoueurant to charge 85 euros for the m…! The setting is beautiful, but the chef spoils everything by his incompetence and lack of passion for the job. This is the memory of the meal barely edible!

HORRIBLE, never again we will go, but follow my advice selfless not vayais. For years there was a three-star establishment paid as if they were four for a cubbyhole. Don't know what that is clean, nor that it is clean. When cockroaches appeared in the bathroom only told us that we were in the field that was normal. I have lived all my life in the field and NEVER have had roaches in my house. Gentlemen spread the word to look at. And improve everything.
