A good hotel if you need to stop between the San Bernardino Pass and Ticino. Good restaurant.

Great food, hard beds. No elevator, many stairs. Pleasant staff.

Nice location recently renovated. Hotel and restaurant managed directly by the owners with competence and professionalism. Strongly suggested!

I was at the hotel from 20 — 23 June 2018. Very warm and accommodating service. Fair price-performance ratio. Hotel and restaurant is highly recommended.

I arrived at the hotel at 9pm and spontaneously received a room key. Room number 2 included a double bed, wet cell and TV. The room was very clean and well lit.
The only criticism is the wet cell — is sometimes getting tight.
At the breakfast table you can choose between croissants, bread, various muesli and vitamin juices. Or different tea and coffee.
I was very pleased!

Pretty poor environment maybe seen the season. Normal food but prices a little high. Friendly staff.

If you go to dinner, arm yourselves with patience, to have a salad 45 minutes a second other 45. Value for money in line with the Swiss standard.

1st of all the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the view just amazing. Mostly the waitress here they're speak italianish, English a bit, and the owner can speak German. Breakfast is good, also they restaurant is famous with Fondue. I love to stay here.

After 8 years I go to this hotel one week a year see more summer, I can tell you that this hotel is perfect:
-Owner very friendly and small care
-Very serious staff
-room with exceptional cleanliness with room cleaning every day
-The hotel is located near the entrance of the city and near the ski resort (open only on weekends) and possibility to buy tickets for the bus (automail)

A very cozy and small little hotel, friendly and a top place to stay over for all travelling between Switzerland and Italy.

Very nice hotel at the San Bernardino pass. We were housed in the outbuildings. There, the rooms were very clean and newly renovated. They were simply equipped but functionally and there is also a free water.
The restaurant was very good. Excellent steaks and also a great cheese fondue. The instruction to do so, also very nice.
Wi-Fi free and very fast… :-)

Due to the Gotthard tunnel traffic problem fi fi I was forced to an unexpected detour. I dined here quite by accident and I order the daily menu that at 26 francs I must say surprised me positively. Good service and polite good Italian cuisine and the hotel that I attended I thought was of a good standard.
