Excellent location, small but serviceable rooms with a funky design. Front desk staff have been hit or miss, but the concierge has had nothing but excellent recommendations. Bed is good, room has been quiet with no street noise. Stay here because of the location and then it's a W, otherwise, meh.

I recently stayed here for three nights; the location of the hotel and staff were great but the rooms are in terrible condition and feel more like a truck stop motel vs. A 5 star hotel the W Paris Opéra is advertised as. There was mold growing in a couple places in the bedroom where the bathroom and bedroom connect. The furniture throughout the room was badly damaged and though some shoddy repairs were attempted to keep it together, it only made the appearance worse. I can keep listing issues with this room but nothing about this stay was on par with expectations. I would highly recommend finding another hotel to stay at for this price point.

Great location! Close to nearly everything, including shopping and metro. Room and service we're great as well, if a bit small.

Low value for money (paid just above 600 euros per night). Very small room (even with W standards). Really bad "gym" / fitness center, a few bicycles and one low weight set. Cleaning of the room after the first night was made at 5pm just as we had returned to the hotel to freshen up for dinner. Another day, I asked for a fresh up while we were out in the evening (making the bed more or less) which would of course be done, the front desk replied — but it wasn't when we returned 5 hours later. Also, asked for some extra bottles of water which was met with a "yes of course" and 20 minutes later, still no water. Called again and still no water after waiting 15 minutes so we gave up and went out and bought water. On the upside was the great breakfast and the very helpful concierge Sébastien. All in all, avoid W Paris and spend the money elsewhere.

Yikes. Location is good if you need to be in the center. Thats it period. The decor is last decade tired, worn out and in desparate need of makeover. Mildew is especially noticable in the minimal white bathrooms. Didnt like the feces on the dildo shaped shower nozzle. Perhaps thats why they include condoms at the minibar. I could go on but im outta here. Good luck "w"ith your booking.

Visit the bar. Very original decoration and very good service. Cosy and international clientele. Ideal for a afterwork or appointment Pro.

Too expensive. Proximity to an Apple store that brings back a little smart fauna.

Great location! The Roissybus to and from CDG stops a block away so it's very convenient. Staff was helpful and rooms were great, especially the showers.

Interesting private party, especially the frieze next to the bar… ;)

I had a great room with a view of the Opera. Room was modern with a comfortable bed. Nice bar and restaurant with a very limited menu but the food was good. Maid service was a bit sloppy and and stingy with bath products. Overall very nice hotel with a very good location.

Hotel with a great location in a nearby house from the opera. Comfortable suite with terrace and view of the opera, large in size. The staff is friendly. In the hall there are always interesting photo exhibitions and music. Stylish design, typical for W. The staff was very friendly and nebrlshom.

Very nice hotel, located centrally in Paris. Louvre is at walking distance. We got an upgrade from cozy to wonderful room. We noticed cigarette smell in our room, staff handled it very well and arranged a new (fresh! ) room for us. 10/10 would recommend.

It’s hard to get disappointed with a W Hotel and this one not only is not an exception but exceeded my expectations by far. The food was amazing, the staff is just awesome and very friendly. Our suite was incredible and the decor all over was fascinating. I would go back without any hesitation at all.

Great location. Right in the heart of Paris. You can see all the sites with a 15 minutes radius. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very large for Paris.

One of the best hotels i've been in, This is what you should expect from the 5 star hotel, Tremendous interior, Staff members are very sufficient and friendly, Plus the factor of location. You are close to any major attractions.

Was on a anniversary trip with my wife and our 2nd stop in Paris, we stayed at W Paris — Opera. The hotel turned up to be very small — which in my opinion is a good thing as there won't be high traffic in and out of the hotel. Deco is something I have come to expect from any W, so there isn't any surprises if you have stayed in any W. The location however is amazing. Just on top of an Apple Store, and directly opposite the Opera gives you an amazing view. The metro is also just right outside, which means getting around Paris was superb. Of course, such amazing location and view comes with a price. Unfortunately we didn't had the opportunity to take full advantage of the W Insider based at the hotel, but they were amazingly welcoming prior to our arrival and provided some excellent recommendations. Excellent for couples, not so sure about families with children unless you take on a suite.

This hotel is one of the most convenient places of Paris. Staff courteous and very professional. Decoration very stylish, very modern, Nice. Typical w hotel experience. Room service is very common, because the hotel was clean but not very clean.

The luxury hotel chain W moved from 2012 in the Opera district. With a recent facelift of its main lounge, the W is a very chic and modern hotel. Gladly share a cocktail in an atmosphere very chill with DJ as a bonus.

I am in day 2 of a 5 day stay to celebrate our 7 year anniversary and something is off. Normally I have wonderful W experiences and I am not one to complain but this experience is subpar at best. Actually awful. First, we check in and we are given a room that we later find out is for a person with disabilities. The bed was maybe a 30-40 cm off the floor and the bathroom was one big shower (as the shower had no doors or anything to contain the water). Our bathroom is one big mess of water. We were too busy or jet lagged to complain. The next day we asked to be moved (this is when we found out it was a room for a person with disabilities — not sure why they gave it to us in the first place). The only room they offered did give a nice view of L'Opera but it is two singles. How romantic! The room comes with an iron (for pressing clothes) that is so old that it doesn't have steam. I called and they told me that another guest has the iron with steam and they could bring it to my room. I am off to speak to a manager. But I should not have to. At any other W these issues would not happen. Have not happen. Sorry W — this trip is a mess.

Great location and my room (as expected) felt like a mini personal night club. More spacious than I expected from a W in Paris. My bathroom was large and the room had plenty of space. The W on the other side of Paris has much smaller rooms. Only issue is that it is hard to see the hotel from the street. There isn't a large W sign, so I had to orient via the Opera Theatre and Apple store next door.

Nice hotel, at 100 m from the Apple Store and the Opera square. Attention, you have to like the "lounge" style we're not really in a hotel romantic.

It was OK. We did not get upgraded so I can only report on an average King room. It's tight (expected), but oddly so. Their mini-bar tray consumes one of the only flat surfaces in the room, and otherwise there is no room around the sink for any toiletries. The lighting system is really dumb. You cannot turn on only the loo without illuminating the entire room — pretty rude in the middle of the night. The windows are not soundproofed — street noise (and one screaming nut case) were disturbing. Room service prompt and organized. Concierge gave good dining recommendations, but I suggest you do your own searches — find places to match your preferences. I found some incredible dining within easy walking. One caution: early morning — pre-arranged taxi failed two mornings in a row. Otherwise, normal taxi help was fin.

I must admit that this W represents the idea of a quality, sort of large size boutique hotel. I got immediately upgraded to a mega suite with nice views of the Opera Garnier. First and foremost, their rooms are full of space and nice attention to detail. Another nice detail is their great room service (yes, you can order food from their Sergi Arola restaurant). Their staff, though young, managed to give me quite good tips about some places where I wanted to eat and do some shopping. The only but, important for me, was the gym, which is rather small and the lack of a proper spa.
