This is a very nice little hotel with friendly, helpful and good English speaking staff. Not expensive, not flashy, yet everything you need for some privacy, a good rest and a start of your morning. Victory Galou, pretty much the middle of Paris, is just outside the tourism insanity, yet close enough to get you everywhere you want fairly quickly; by foot or by metro or whatever. This hotel was my first experience with France in quite some time, and it was very nice. Next time I go to Paris, I'll definitely find Victory Galou again.
➜ Hotel in the middle of repair so impossible to open the windows. Impeccable bedding and excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Value for money room comfort reduced. Just for one night.
