The big plus of this hotel is that it is close to many tourist destinations in Paris and the main metro lines, as well as RER train lines, from where you can get to the suburbs.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, rooms are OK.

I'm staying right now and the air conditioner doesn't work. The solution q I got, a hand fan. When I asked them to fix it, they gave me another one. Embarrassing. They offer non-existent air conditioning. Other rooms have but malfunctioned. Overall not bad but are somewhat old rooms with lack of maintenance. It must improve.

The hotel is quaint and clean. It is in an excellent location for walking to all of the major sights in Paris or accessing easy public transportation. It is approximately a block from Pont Neuf. Breakfast is available but pricey. The rooms have small bar fridges and coffee makers. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This is the worst Hotel I have ever known, and I weigh my words. It becomes even ridiculous. Outdated facilities: the doors are dirty, the robintry and the bathroom in General also, the Deco dates from another time. The elevator was out of service. Ah and let's not forget the Concierge that I had misfortune to wake up to 5.30 of the morning that had installed his mattress in the reception room. Before leaving no ' CA was?  "by cons a" I'll order you a taxi we had problems with uber who assaulted our customers "… a baksheesh with your taxis rather!

The location is absolutely the BEST! Can't imagine anything better than 1 minute to rue Rivoli, couple of blocks to Louvre and 5 mins to the biggest and the most convenient Metro/RER station Chatelet from where you can easily get the airports and everywhere you need. The managers are the best too! Their tips and help were useful and we were happy! We appreciated it so much! The bathroom amenities were clean and new. If you stay at simple hotel it is the most important thing. The neighbourhood is charming and you can find everything you need in 1 minute walk. Le Marais is also very close so I would recommend it to people who plan spent a lot of time in Le Marais… Minuses (you can turn it to pluses too) : rooms are dated (but they have original sealing stucco) and the windows are old (but also original so you can feel like in old Parisian apartment), the noise from street could disturb you — but ear plugs are helpful with it. I used ear plugs only two night and rest of the staying it was fine. And it is not that noisy as people commented here. And I am the person who is very sensitive to noise… To sum up, I rate this hotel 5* even I stayed there in a very expensive period during Paris fashion week.

A very nice hotel, very friendly staff and very comfortable beds. Breakfast could be a bit more complete and has a lovely tiny elevator. But the best certainly the quality of the sleep, great.

Very nice hotel. It has No luxuries but the beds are very comfortable and the rooms have minibar and coffeemaker that you can use. It's very central. It is very close to the Louvre and you have Metro, train and bus stations very close by. Totally recommended.

Only flaw for me was the double bed!
If I ask for a double room you mean a whole bed no divided with two single beds joined!

It is really close to the Louvre and Notre Dame. They were very atencios and kind to us! Recomended!

Room size is good but as I said before all seems to be old and without maintenance. For the location only choose ahother place.

Simple hotel! But if you combine price + location it is the best of the best! Le Marais is in walking distance and Chatelet metro/RER station will connect you with any location in Paris very fast And the most important: super friendly and helpful managers and staff! Couple of block from Louvre and the neighborhood is so local and soulful! I would stay there again!

Old style pension not really an hotel, maybe good for who want to try a traditional Paris places. Checked in late and receptionist was speaking annoyed but like a military that give orders. First day, room was in the back very dark, with little light coming from the sky due to others buildings around. Then they changed my room to higher floor, after I told to the receptionist that I specifically requested it from the booking and because the mobile phone was not working in the previous room. (usually in Paris mobile phones don't work inside old buildings specially at lower floors) In the new room water in the sink was liking, I told to the staff, then when I come back at the end of the day, there was a bucket under it to receive the water and for the other two days that I was staying there they did not repaired it. Voices and noise where coming from other rooms. Refrigerator, was not closing well in both rooms and one was really dirty. I went here, because friends live very near to this hotel, but I will never stay again this place.

Great little hotel and an amazing location. Room was clean and tidy and the view of the busting street in the evening was great for people watching when getting ready to go out. A fantastic location near lots of sights (louvre, notre dame etc) as well as the RER and metro stations and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

Fantastic! The location was great, the rooms were very comodisimas and the room was very clean and jacuzzi. The hotel was very friendly and the room was very quiet.

The pictures dont show the extremely poor quality of the reality. In the elevator difficultly there is space for two persons. And if you are hosted in the fifth floor you dont have access with elevator. The room is quite small and the furnitures are ugly and careless. Not space to open the door of the toilet (crashing with the bed) The noise is very transmitted. I could listen my neighbor even switching a plug. The price, more than 100 euros for night absolutly doesnt worth. The only one good thing is the location.

Pretty clean. For a few nights it is the ideal solution. Convenient to the media and close to everything that is interesting.

Good location a 5 minute walk from the Louvre. The small rooms and a little dark and the tiny elevator, in 2 with the backpack in the back we were not there. It would take a renovation.

Very noisy, not so clean. Wouldn't recommend it, there are better places with same nigth rate in Paris…

Central area, a few steps from the Louvre Museum, Museum of Orsey, Centre Pompidou… very served area by Metro and bus and boats on the Seine… great!

Regular for a 3 stars hotel. But our room at the ground-floor was very noisy cause the next door bar.

One thing has positive … the location. I stayed at this hotel for four nights and quite frankly I couldn't wait to leave. The rooms fall apart, don't talk about just cleaning, beds uncomfortable and smelly rooms. In addition the waitress stole a bag purchased on site … I tried to report the incident to the reception but in vain. Would not go back to this hotel even under torture. I donot.

Near main attractions, good breakfast and good service. The only small issue was the small elevator and the cleanness of the carpet in the room!

Close to the city centre but shame about the pubs of drunkards right under the window (on Fridays and Saturdays noise until dawn).

Breakfast not proven … go around the corner … There is an oven that offers all kinds of freshly baked cake!

Awful hotel. Dirty, rude staff and a complete waste of money.

Stayed at the Tonic, very great location for walking attractions. Breakfast was fine. Issue was upon arrival. Just like in any ancient city, the buildings are pieced together. The hotel has an extremely small lift, which fits about 2 people and 2 pieces of luggage stacked on each other. It also only goes up to the 4th floor. So if your room is on the 5th floor, be prepared to lug it up several flights of winding stairs. Once there, check the bathroom. Our room had about 2 inches of black water in the shower. Went down to the front desk to insist another room, the staff was not very helpful, after arguing and showing them, they got us another room. Which I think we got punished for. We had to drag our bags back down the flight of stairs, fire-bucket brigade the people in our party and luggage back down to the lobby, only to be led through a series of connected buildings, more stairs, etc to the room. It was good, clean where we got there.
