Very small u sweet Hotel right on the Moulin Rouge. Metro Station is 200 metres away. Ideal location for a Trip to Paris. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would book it again.

We had a great time in Paris. The hotel is great, very good location to see the hot spots not far away and very friendly stuff. Special thanks to Mehdi for the warm welcome and recommendations (especially Pink Mamma, she wasn‘t there.

A lovely Hotel. Lovely rooms and staff. I just wish I had breakfast laid out like this for me at home. The chair in my room was really comfortable and so was the bed. Lovely!

The location of the hotel is the biggest plus. Very close to most areas of interest. Staff are warm and polite. Rooms are very small. Consider that in case you're travelling with family. It will barely accommodate 2 people. Definitely worth it if you're travelling alone or as a couple.

This was my second time in R. Kipling Hotel and I'll certainly come back. Whilst the rooms are really tiny, that didn't bother me at all, as the bed was great, the amenities are far and everything was very, very clean. It's centrally located, which makes a difference and the staff is always nice and friendly. The prices are good, especially considering where the hotel is located. If in vicinity (and there's a bunch of hotels around), you're safe choosing this place!

So far no ac and the room is 80+ degrees. Nice room otherwise. No sense from the staff that the issue needs to be fixed. No concern from the staff. They cannot even find their own fans. What kind of hotel is this? Do not stay here. They simply do not care. They only want your money. I told them about the issue 8 hours ago an still no resolution. Update day three and they have not called a repair man. All the others hotels in the area are booked. Utterly miserable experience because it is in the nineties in Paris. I took them to our sons room to prove to them it was not working their answer is the computer says it is working. Do not stay here! The staff was nice and friendly just not very helpful. The hotel is cute and had great possibilities.

Appalling. My parents stayed there and I just can't understand how this can be a four star hotel. When they came in at 5pm the room wasn't yet ready. The room they sold as the "superior" room barely fits the bed. The sink was blocked and when they asked for it to be fixed they said no maintenance was available during the weekend. Basically this is a scam. Stay away.

If I could give this appalling Hotel no stars I would. We booked 4 rooms and In two of the rooms booked, there was no electricity in the sockets for the whole of our stay. We reported this 5 times to the reception, but throughout our stay our sockets had no power. We were given a room that had the curtain dangling at the end of the curtain rail, so couldn't be closed at night. We reported this 4 times. The bed was next to the window, totally on view to anyone outside as I found out when I woke up the first morning to a gentlemen looking straight at me on the roadside opposite. We had to sleep in our clothes. Outside the window attached to the wall is a huge street light, that shone into our room all night as the curtain was hanging off the window and not able to block it out! The room smelt of dampness and a truly disgusting smell from the fridge. On contacting the hotel when we arrived home, the management admitted all of the faults but are unwilling to offer any refund. All they have offered is an unspecified reasonable rate if we book with them in the future and at their convenience. As if we would ever go back to this appalling hotel and management. Avoid this hotel, you would have more comfort in a hostel. We booked this hotel as it was close to Moulin Rouge, but be aware that the area is run down and full of seedy sex shops and prostitutes offering their services.

Small room… too, nn know how to move, TV nn working, no fridge, hairdryer to hiccup, shower beautiful but dangerous: slippery tiles, comfortable bed, stained blanket.

Stayed here for a week on a recent work trip and I couldn't have been happier with the hotel. Every hotel these days looks the same, but this hotel had a very nice ambiance and detail. The rooms are small but that was to be expected considering it was Paris.

Very pleasant place, helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently located, to the Metro 3 minutes, to the center on foot you can walk in 50 minutes. Tea is always available in the hotel lobby.

The photos show a much more modern hotel, spacious and in good condition than it really is. It's not 4-star. The receptionist changed us to a slightly larger room. The eating area is sloppy and dark. Cleanliness is not good. Three blocks from the metro station Blanche which is really not very nice area. I don't recommend it.

Excellent staff and location. Comfy beds in a nice room. Shower takes 10 minutes to heat up. Will stay again.

Lovely hotel! Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy with a lovely view of the city. Also, the bed was very comfy. Beautifully designed and cosy hotel, in an excellent location, a few meters from the Moulin Rouge and a metro station. Would definitely like to stay here again.

It's a nice enough boutique hotel in central Paris, but I'm not sure it's cool to nowadays look back on colonialism with such fondness…

Beautiful building and very friendly, helpful staff. Room well-decorated and well-kept. Door to wardrobe was a little loose and did fall off, and coffee machine needed de-scaling, however this made up for by everything else being so incredibly lovely. Stayed in superior double room which overlooked a pretty little courtyard. Close to lots of attractions and eateries. Would recommend!

Small, cozy and comfortable hotel around the corner of the Moulin Rouge — busy nightlife and adult entertainment nearby. Polite, professional staff and a unique underground breakfast cave! Highly recommended!

Beautiful boutique hotel located in a good area in the 9th Area in Paris. Small cosy rooms, very friendly and helpful reception staff. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. 5mins walk from Moulin Rouge.

Went there on 2017 Sept. Cleanliness is far away. As arrived I found urine in the WC. Poor poor room, the bed is the room, no space for anything. Not recommended.

Wonderful boutique hotel, staff were excellent and our room was perfect with a balcony over looking Paris. Beds super comfy, bathroom modern with lovely toiletries. Our only slight complaint was no bath which we really could of done with after long days walking. Will definitely return.

The staff is very friendly but the hotel is quite aged. Our room door didn't close well and we had to slam it shut. The air conditioning was barely working so we had to sleep with the windows open, overlooking a very noisy street. He got a good deal online and the location is central and convenient, though, so it was just about good enough for a couple of nights.

As we arrived we felt very welcomed by the staff. The hotel has a great atmosphere and feels very cosy. Location wise its perfectly situated next to several restaurants and only a short walk away from the major tourist atractions. We ordered a standard double bedroom and were pleasantly surprised by the standards. Big bed and big modern bathroom with spacious shower. Only thing to comment was the general size of the room as the bed took most of the space. Also would wish that the air con was a bit more efficient at its job. All in all I recommend this place to everyone!

The hotel is very pretty with new decor and funky wall paper. The room we stayed in was small but it had everything you needed for a weekend break. The power was a bit funny… phones took ages to charge. Shower was great! Breakfast was nice with a cool little dining room in the cellar.

Fantastic stay, the room was small but perfect, the staff were so helpful and the concept of being able to stop at any hotel in the chain for coffee etc is really great. We would definitely go back!

My husband and I decided to book 6 nights at this hotel for our honeymoon. We like the area around Montmartre and found this hotel as an ideal location. It is literally a two minute walk to the "Moulin Rouge" and a five minute walk to the famous "Cafe des Deux Moulins" from the movie "Amelie. " It's also very close to the Blanche Metro so you'll have no trouble getting around Paris quickly. The hotel itself is quaint and tastefully decorated with Asian decor. The rooms are small as is the hotel but comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated. We asked for a balcony with our room and were delighted to get one on the fifth floor which offered some nice views of the surrounding area. The queen-sized bed was so comfy that we had trouble wanting to leave it. The staff are exceptional and very professional. Marco, the General Manager, was very polite and friendly and provided an excellent service for us. He even emailed us before our arrival to see if we had any special requirements or requests. Other staff such as Sonia and Jessica were also very friendly and great fun to talk to during the free evening wine tasting evenings. They also provided directions/train info to various sights that we visited. The breakfast buffet is great with a variety of continental options such as cereals, fruit, pastries, breads and juices. The breakfast room itself is quite cosy and looks like a wine cellar.

An Excellent hotel, great neighborhood with easy access to the metro. Amazing and very accommodating staff that helped us out with whatever we needed, from keeping or bags to recommending a great fresh noodle place for dinner, and also pointing us in the direction of one of the top hot chocolates in Paris. I will definitely be returning to this place! Thank You!

Loved staying at this hotel. Very cute boutique hotel within walking distance of the trains and busses. The staff is very friendly, was a plus that the hotel has breakfast in the mornings before we went out to explore Paris! All in all was a wonderful and memorable experience.

Rooms a bit small but a lot of care in the decoration. Good location and great benefits. A small flat in the morning for breakfast and for the provision household a bit cumbersome.

I can't believe it's a a four star hotel: our company guests are now staying there for one week and there is a problem every night: no air conditioning the first night, trouble with the card key (twice), no toilet paper, no shampoo in the room. And above all… the BED HAS BROKEN when one of our guests was sleeping (see picture of the broken part below). And the attitude of the staff was incredibly NON PROFESSIONAL when we went to the reception to talk about all those problems. ("Ah bon? ", "Bah je vais aller vous chercher ça", "Euh… on doit avoir ça", "C'est pas ma faute! Vous me parlez sur un autre ton! " etc. )
Not a single word of apology.
What a shame.
I definitely NOT RECOMMEND your hotel.

I arrived around 6pm, and they overbooked. They suggested to move me to a different other far away without any compensation. Likely enough the web site that I used for the booking cancel the reservation and they moved me in a near by hotel.

The color orange is not your best ally?
So close your eyes when you walk into the elevator. The shock can be intense for the most sensitive.
Here, the trip is in the spotlight and is discovered by keys through the exotic rooms and classes. It's very pampering and relaxing.
Only question: we don't understand why the present of a small peephole installed on every door of bathroom.

Attractive hotel. Quiet but very small room. Good location. Bathroom had a disgusting odor on arrival, rest of room was clean. No iron in room; 2 requests for one were received cheerily but not acted on by reception. This resulted in a 35 min delay in my morning. Overall an OK place to stay but hardly the best option around.
