It is far from what it promises, it is a place with very small and very sloppy rooms, very friendly staff and the best advantage its location.

Great location. Building a bit old but all the basics are there, staff very helpful and speak English. Recommended!

Very good service. Very good value for money. Please note that it does not have an elevator. It is not very luxurious, but if you are looking for a cheap, comfortable and clean room it is highly recommended.

Good choice when the priority for your stay is location, price and you plan just overnight there. No kitchen, no kettle is available.

Close to public transport but frankly expensive for a room it was 4 is smell of stale to the shore but the nice staff I think it has no choice for the customer to come. Even a formul1 and better brief disappointed.

You are adventurous, you want to spend little, you don't care about cleanliness and room size, it's for you. Our experience was not the best, guests of room 02. There was an annoying smell inside, we bought products to clean the bathroom, because it was not clean at all, the towels were of some guest ago, only rearranged and folded, sheets full of other pubic hair… Maybe it was just a little care of that room because economical? I hope so… Instead the staff was hyper kind, they recovered them, otherwise I would have redone I wanted to proudly luggage.

Nice hotel with a good location.

Nice and friendly staff but do not speak English well. The rooms were quite small and very basic. Showers are even smaller and sometimes it was tricky to get out of the shower without opening a bathroom door. Still its good value for the money. Location is convenient — walking distance to Notre-dam and metro station, far to eifel tower.

Shower was moldy, had no shower curtain so water got all over the floor. There was also a mouse in the room.

Great service. Location is great. There is a market in front, laubdry next door and plenty restaurants an bar at each corner. However room can be a bit better.

Some of the people there are nice. Maintenance needs a lot of work since there were no lifts to bring all our luggage up. The railings on the windows need to be more secured. I think we need more outlets. The room we got is awfully smaller than my own room, and the bed is outdated. The bathroom is way too small for my comfort, and the housemaids need to clean the room better. We were seeing bits of hair in our bed. The Wi-Fi there is good sometimes, other times it doesn't fully work. But I do like how it's near restaurants and tour bus stops.

Good for price. The owners really care about the place.

Excellent, hotel Palace of the Fadlis.

We were with a 13-year old daughter in may of 2011 in this hotel, we flew from St. Petersburg, in Paris for the first time and were alone acquainted with the sights of the great city! I think the only two indisputable advantages of this hotel are low price and convenient location! The staff is quite friendly! The room was very clean. The mattresses in the older beds make it possible to relax after 10 hour of walking around the city. I, however, was bitten by bedbugs the second night of your stay (we were with my daughter 6 nights in the hotel and it did not bite), but I'm on the second night caught on my pillow this bloodsucker and put him to death by drowning in the toilet! (Yes, forgive me, GREENPEACE! ) ) Everything else is a minor inconvenience! When you are in a city! trouble pales as insignificant.

This hotel is cheap, on great location, clean and staff is kind. It's completeley different from expensive hostels around Panthéon or Montmartre. Great hotel.

The staff here was consistently friendly and eager to help, which compensated for the worn but clean and inexpensive rooms. The staff have limited English. The breakfast was basic (baguettes, butter and jam, coffee, tea or chocolate) but again inexpensive and served by friendly staff. The only problem was the noise in the courtyard — there was a protracted and loud political argument one morning. The ranking takes into account the low price — don't expect a "palace". The neighbourhood is great — lots of good local cafes and bars as well as low-cost shopping. Definitely not a tourist area.

Positives: Nice budget hotel with very friendly owner. Clean. Central. Recommended. Negatives: I had an issue with my booking even though I had confirmed it by both telephone and email. When I arrived there they had no record of it. Fortunately it was low season and there was a room available for me.
