It is a property located in a perfect area to visit the city. Next to the Gare de Lyon from which passes line 1 of the Metro with which you can safely visit many of the main monuments of Paris. The hotel's rooms are very large and clean; Only downside for us Italians is the lack of bidet… but we're in France so it's there. The common areas are wide and clean as well as the bar and restaurant. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. There is also a children's area with a play board and other activities besides the pool which we did not use (we had Paris to visit. The staff is very helpful and the Hotel also offers the free luggage storage service both on arrival (rooms are delivered at 14.00) and at the departure (they must be returned at 10.00). The only negative note (which removed the 5th star) is the condition of the outside: the access from the square in front of the station is really dirty… people urinate (and do something else. ) and there's a nauseating smell…

They are very family oriented — while they do have a nice restaurant downstairs, every morning they also have a family breakfast that includes entertainment. My entire group of college students was very excited to receive balloon flowers and bracelets. The breakfast is very good — it includes protein, not just cheap carbs, although they do have high quality pastries, of course! It is France, after all. They also had a heated pool, although I didn’t go in, considering how hot I already was. All in all, this was a solid choice, and a nice break from the sweltering heat of our other accommodations.

Close to train station. Staff is friendly and helpful. Tiny rooms even for the executive suite. Beware for additional charges at checkout. We were billed for breakfast for the 3 days we were there. We only ate there once. Make sure that you get an itemized bill at checkout. They charged us an extra $123 dollars. I am reporting this to their head quarters. The staff attendant said it is standard to charge their guests these breakfast charges in order to not bother them at checkout.

It's a nice hotel. Near the station, in the subway station. There are many shops and restaurants for all tastes.

Meeting room quite small but sufficient for a hundred people.
On the other hand it is always clean and the staff very polite.

There was no air conditioning and the window only opened slightly. The location is ok, convenient for travel as it is close to the Gare de Lyon train station, but the neighborhood a bit run down. Update: To be more precise, we did not have air conditioning because it had not yet been turned on for the season, despite the warm temperatures. However if you are visiting during the summer months, this is unlikely to be an issue for you as they will have turned their ac system on by then. I will avoid during the spring and fall. The hotel did provide us with a room fan but the noise from the construction across the street was loud with the window open.

Very clean, perfect location for a business trip. Friendly staff and good breakfast with a wonderful choice of cheese! 24/7 pool (very small).

Centrally located at the Gare de Lyon. Parking is available for a fee. Large lobby, swimming pool, fitness room, restaurant, café. It is a quiet hotel despite the size and location. The rooms are modern and clean. The shower is right next to the bed and can be separated by a switch with frosted glass. Otherwise you can also take a shower while watching TV. Kettle, hair dryer, fridge, safe available. We didn't use breakfast. There are many cafes nearby, or a supermarket for a delicious croissant.

Modern hotel with great location literally next to Gare de Lyon station. Check in was a bit crazy on our particular day, but they found a room that was ready after a short wait. The pool is nice, but not the most kid-friendly as it is >5ft deep for the majority of the pool.

Room OK. Unpresentable tails for breakfast… And every day the same and eye with being late as they don't repose.

Very correct to use as a dorm for a few days sightseeing. Clean… the only bad thing is the heating… too high. For the rest all right and good price.

Congratulations to the staff at both the front desk and the restaurant. Despite a late arrival, the reception was perfect. At breakfast, a smiling and caring staff with exceptional services. Bravo also for the spacious room, comfortable, cleanly impeccable. A no-fault!

2017 Restaurant: I am never disappointed with the kindness and efficiency of the service, and the quality of the dishes with always beautiful new proposals of the day to vary. The preparations and cooking are perfect, among the best I know. The red wine by the glass in Saint-Emilion is sublime and well served. A real place of comfort and comfort.
2016 Restaurant: very good, very quiet, very Novotel… The reception is very courteous and the service close and pleasant. The dishes are not given, but really very well cooked and served with a nice wine list. One of the best addresses near the train station…

Very nice and modern rooms. The dining room is rather small and if you go in peak hours you have to wait at the entrance and queue to enter. I would say that this is the only thing uncomfortable about this place.

Nice rooms, helpful staff, nice pool. The interior was excellent, very close to the train station. Would recommend for families and foreigners.

Good hotel, very close to gare de lyon station. Offers a pool and a gym. I recommend if you want to have a hotel near a station with easy access to the city centre.

A nice hotel even if the pool is more of a pretext than actually usable (note, it is open 24 hours a day).
If we really have to find fault, we can also note the impractical side of the restaurant very narrow, but it is more than compensated by friendly initiatives like the person who comes to model balloons for children in the morning on weekends.

The location is great. Room and service just fine but I didn't like the doors being closed early in the night. We had to call the concierge in the interphone but nothing uncomfortable.

The hotel is a good choice if you need something close to Gare de Lyon. As it is not located on a large street it is rather quiet. The rooms are renovated so this is better than the typical old European Novotel. I have to say mine was really large and well appointed, I also loved the rain shower. Service is good at the reception, with competent and nice staff. The housekeeping is also well done. The breakfast however felt disorganised and chaotic, also I noticed the poor quality of some items (scrambled eggs were runny, ham not good quality). For member of Le Club AccorHotels, the recognition was so-so. Half of the benefits were delivered (although the one who were are the one that mattered to me). The swimming pool is poor. First the changing cabin (singular) is cramped, and the swimming pool awkward location by the reception does not induce to have a relaxing moment there.

Hotel location is superb and facility are good. Except the service level got to improve and learn the fundamental of service recovery.

I had the opportunity to stay there a few times. The rooms are spacious. The hotel is not on the edge of a large boulevard, it is quite quiet for Paris. The staff at the front desk is often nice. The negative point is the restaurant. I tried 2 times but bland cuisine with a tasteless meat and not cooked enough. The staff of the evening room is not unsympathetic but not friendly either… In the morning at breakfast, it is rather young people in hotel school who are in number but disorganized and which therefore brings a certain nervousness when you breakfast.

The Novotel is located at the Gare de Lyon and is an ideal starting point for all activities in and around Paris. As the most important Zimmertip we recommend the rooms overlooking the large square with large windows. The rooms are equipped with minibars and a safe (included in the price).
The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The food in the restaurant is also Excellent. Swimming pool and Fitness centre, open 24/7, complete the hotel Offer. The reception is super Helpful. We will certainly come to the Novotel more often when we fly to Paris. Actually, This beautiful hotel deserves five stars ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ ⭐a ️.
As a tip for City Explorers: we booked the Paris visite ticket (zone 3), with which you can get to the public transport Everywhere. A car is really superfluous here.
We have always run between 8-10 km in the last days (iphone health App) and I believe that every day here is a revitalization of the whole body.
And when you return to the Novotel in the evening, the pool is 29-30 degrees Celsius and the fitness room is Ideal. The room service is also great so you don't miss Anything. Wireless Internet is very good throughout the hotel and also included in the Price.

Very good Hotel. Spacious rooms, even for a family of 5. Very tasty Breakfast in a 'take what you want' style, which includes making your own eggs. There's a nice pool and a great place for kids, with xbox and playstation games.

Basically I chose this hotel for its location next to the station where you take the TGV bound for Barcelona. Among the good things is a contemporary design, simple and enjoyable. The cámas are comfortable and the bathroom also looks good, especially with the electrochromic glass of the shower that gives the room. It has perfect connection to the Metro line 1 and 14, which are very practical. Safe and minibar. But here is the end of the good. In the service is where weakens. They did not do any room upgrades like Accor Platinum Although I did offer the welcome drink and a late check-out at 14:00 after requesting it. After the first night only a partial arrangement of the room was made (not even collected the wrapper of the soap pill that was on the sink). The only bathroom amenities are a soap pill and a soap dispenser in the shower, really poor as it looks like the level of an IBIS. The Wi-Fi with pretty weak signal.
Breakfast deserves a separate chapter. The management is a mess where you don't even ask the room number, so anyone can have breakfast without paying (it happened during the 3 days of my stay), I got up to go get some more food and upon returning I had unmounted the whole table. And honestly, the variety of products offered is more than disappointing. Trying to fill the buffet with many breads does not compensate for the notable absence of a good variety of cheeses and sausages.

We stayed at this hotel overnight to make sure we were right next to the station and train, RER A, which would take us to Disneyland Paris in the morning. Finding the correct side to exit the station was difficult, make sure you exit 'sortie 2' to get to the hotel straight from the station. Check-in was easy and the room was lovely, and with english breakfast tea stocked and a bottle water in the fridge. The best thing about the room was the bed — lovely and firm mattress. The two let downs for me were the swimming pool, which jetted in cold bursts of water near the stairs, and the continental breakfast costing 18 euros (I do understand this may be standard for Paris).

Bathroom was not clean, breakfast on Saturday morning with waiting Time.

Convenient location for jumping on the metro to travel around town, and with a swimming pool so ideal for visiting with the kids this is a basic but good value option. There are a few decent restaurants in the area and it's easy to reach from other mainline stations too.

Very nice service for a 4 star hotel (which does not deserve yet five) with many services, such as an indoor pool, a gym, and a quality restaurant/breakfast. The rooms are very modern and nice. The location is ideal, close to the Gare de Lyon and therefore public transport.

Traveling from the states on buisness and vacation. Got a large room big enough for two adults and two kids. Rooms great. Modern and clean. Game room with video games and nice swimming pool. Excellent staff always ready to be helpful. Couldn't ask for better location near restaurants and all modes travel. Even near the tour bus stops. Perfect stop for families going to Paris!

Hotel Grand, at reception speak Spanish, delicious and varied breakfast, rooms spacious and clean, the pool is fine to relax, no doubt will return to this hotel.

Very nice hotel, shower is interesting but the room was very clean and modern looking. Breakfast was really nice. The pool was kind of small though, however we never used it because there was so much to do in Paris.
