Horrible, AC didn’t work; they nickel and dime you for everything. Restaurant host was the worst. Usually stay at Marriotts will never stay at Mercure again.

Fabulous place to stay Staff very welcoming nothing to much trouble Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice would definitely stay there again.

Very organized, modern, clean, polite and kind staff. Besides getting too close to the tower!

I am from Australia and I had 5 rooms booked at this hotel in 2020 and due to covit I had to cancel our trip. This was the only hotel that refused to give us a refund. I had a 6 week holiday booked and fully paid for in Europe and the UK. We got all our money back except this hotel. Shame on them for taking advantage of this situation. It is just stealing. Beware when you book with them.

I have booked this hotel for sept. 2020 back in December 2019. I was unaware of the pandemic that would soon hit or I would have NEVER booked this trip. It was suppose to be a once in a lifetime trip for my graduation gift from nursing school and my husband and I’s 10 yr wedding anniversary. This was ruined due to covid. I booked my reservation online through orbitz. This hotel is refusing to give me my money back and only granted me a voucher to use at their hotel for amount purchased originally. Well Im from America so I am not allowed in france as of now for over a year now. The hotel is closed so even if I wanted to book I would not be able too. Ive tried getting ahold of someone to be able to contact and talk to about this issue but to no luck. Orbitz has tried calling as well, emails etc. Nothing. I would love for someone to reach out to me and please make this right. My voucher expires jan 2022. I will not be able to go this yr. Even if I could.

So very close to the Tower. Staff were very helpful nothing was to much trouble. Even gave me a wheelchair for the weekend. Would go back there again definitely! Thank you all for making my surprise birthday present something I will never forget.

We had a great weekend with a room overlooking the Eiffel Tower, we absolutely do not regret it. Great service, very welcoming and accessible staff, little attention. Besides I even received a rose from them for the day of the woman lol … a big thank you to you we'll come back.

Rooms are clean albeit a bit small. The breakfast buffet is very good with many choices. Very clean and well set up. The welcome desk is helpful. They even lent us an umbrella so we could go out in a down pour. Kudos to Bruno who helped us out with luggage, places to go, standing out in the cold to wait for our Uber ride and his general friendliness. He made our stay better and it’s people like him who will make us return!

The staff is attentive. The rooms are clean. The hallways are quiet at night despite groups of fun people in attendance. The location is amazing with the Eiffel Tower visible out the front door.
When we come back in 18mo. We plan on staying here.

Stayed there in April with my wife and young daughter, staff when checking in were disinterested. Room was very small, with the fridge only stocked with one bottle of water and two small UHT milk satchels. Only two small paper cups were supplied with some tea and coffee. In the five days we stayed there, the milk and cups were not replenished and we had to go down to breakfast restaurant to grab some. Breakfast buffet was OK and staff there friendly. Having said all that we would probably stay there again as the location is great and because we now know what to expect for the price. Footnote 4 star hotel in France is not equal to 4 star hotels elsewhere.

While not my first choice of hotels, it was a very nice place to stay. I was lucky to get into the hotel after another hotel cancelled my reservation as I didn't have a late check-in. The hotel room I stayed in was small, with the shower separate from the toilet. (Not a bad thing, just a thing that was unexpected. ) The room didn't have converted power or a USB port, so I had pick up a converter my first day in Paris. I had tickets for the breakfast buffet each day I was there, the selection is good I just recommend getting there early as the items can run out (scrambled eggs were quick to go). The black-out curtains are very effective in blocking out the light, better than I'm seen Stateside. The only real complaint I would have would be ordering room service. Each time I ordered room service, there was an issue with what I got. First time, they forgot an entree entirely; the second time, they didn't deliver the correct item I ordered and then wanted to charge me for another item to correct the first item.

Easy to get to, 150 meters from the porte de Pantin metro exit.
Nearby are pubs, restaurants, a supermarket and ATMs.
Kind staff even spoke English (I didn't even expect Italian).
We had some problems with cleaning the room, that is, twice they didn't do it saying instead that they did.
The room looked like the description, but you literally died of heat because the air conditioning didn't work.
Breakfast was rich and continental from 6am. 30 to 10 a. M. 30.

The rooms were nice. Great beds and shower. Hotel staff was not very eager to help when we showed up almost as if we were bothering them. There were 4 people at the front desk not helping any customers and we still waited a few minutes before they acknowledged us. Overall the hotel was very nice.

I have been there last year in August for my week in Paris and I would highly recommend this Hotel. Great location really close to the Tour Eiffel, awesome breakfast, very kind staff, clean rooms, soft and large bed.

Fantastic stay at this hotel with my family. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite with a view of the Eiffel Tower and champagne! The view absolutely blew us away. The location of this hotel is perfect for the usual tourist hotspots. Our room was spotless, superb rainfall shower with infused oils, fully stocked mini bar and coffee machine and the robes and slippers were a nice touch. Staff all seemed friendly and spoke English. We didn’t use the restaurant or bar area as we were out exploring so can’t really comment on that but overall a really positive experience for us and we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Stayed here last year. Free room bar drinks arrived eventually. Asked an extra dressing gown and slippers, never arrived. Better hotels to stay at.

Really nice hotel in very convenient location few steps from Eiffel Tower. We were upgraded to suite and they allow us to check in earlier with no charge. Staff was very pleasant rooms clean.

Just perfect… Has all is necessary ervices. A room safe, tea or coffee service, a minibar equipped with water bottles, a bathroom and an anteroom with a huge shower! Not to mention the bed: very soft and comfortable, with a window that in almost all the rooms overlooks the Eiffel Tower. A flat-screen TV completes the opera and the room also has many lights and lamps… The rooms are much more than clean and the toilets and towels also echo free… There is also the option of hours opt in the evening before breakfast in the room and also describe what you want to eat.
The staff friendly and really very friendly, they don't make you feel anything foreign to them, even speaking two different languages! The restaurant very elegant but informal, is the lobby of arrivals very nice and full of sofa comfortable and comfortable…

Unworthy services of a hotel of this category. Frankly, there are plenty of small hotels in the vicinity that offer much better services at a lower cost. In the bathroom, not even a toilet set, no moisturizer, no bathrobe or slipper… It is by these little details that we enjoy coming to a nice hotel. No Chair in the room and although I have claimed one, I am still waiting for it; not very practical to work on a table without a Chair. Breakfast is OK and the room is nice. Certainly the location is very good for tourists but the value for money is very disappointing.

An amazing hotel, this hotel is really a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower, and just three steps from the metro station (the middle with which you can move very well throughout Paris).
The room was not very big (2 people double) but it was certainly not a problem, it compensates very well with the furnishings. Bed very comfortable (and unfortunately if I do not find the bed comfortable I will hang my neck so I am quite fussy in this matter), the bathroom is very lighted (it confirms my girlfriend with her tricks…) The shower had the rain jet, I had never tried it but I fell in love with it. The toilet, locked up in a closet with no windows but if the holiday does not have to allocate there is more than good! Clearly there is no bidet, but with the jet of rain shower take a shower every time it becomes a holiday in its own right! (Otherwise council wipes disinfecting moistened and away! ).
Basically a good hotel! I will gladly return for favorable occasion.

This hotel has similar standard and value for money as other hotels in this price range in this area. The rooms are decent size but could do with a renovation soon. It is convenient to access from metro and commuter lines. Staff is friendly and the check in process is usually quick. Breakfast used to be better, now it is quite similar to other hotels.

The location is perfect and the rooms clean. Unfortunately, the mattresses did not have a schooner, for a 4 star hotel a No Go (eig. For every hotel).
The rooms were also far too small.
Instead of a Nespresso maliner, you will find an electric kettle and soluble coffee.
The breakfast is a joke for the price and the star category, there were 2 types of cheese and 2 types of sausage, 2 varieties of cornflakes and 1 muesli some quark and an English breakfast that was it. For me, a 4-star hotel is a little more part of it. I had more choice in some 3 star hotels. The only treat was the croissants.
For this high price really a disappointment.

Atypical hotel. Feeling almost dilapidated from the outside but once you're there you feel good, in great comfort. Probably due to the specific architecture, quite rare in Paris. Apart from these impressions, this hotel offers all the modern comforts, quality restaurants, pleasant and comfortable rooms. The proximity to the Eiffel Tower is pleasant for a little digestive walk. And as part of a big event of 300 people, I had the opportunity to go around the hotel well and enjoy the excellent service! So my good grade is reliable! (Except I don't know the price of a room…)

The location is perfect, right in the centre of Paris, the Eiffel tower is right outside your door. The staff were polite and their English made our stay much easier than expected. The bed and pillows, 6/5 best night sleep ever!

If you like the Eiffel Tower, this hotel is a good choice. Very close to the tower. But I am not sure that you can see the whole tower from your room. In my case I could see just the top of the tower. Check it before booking. But it's just a few minutes' walk to the tower from this hotel!

Really good location. Right near the Eiffel Tower. Good views from gym. The staff were friendly but check-out took AGES. We also had the buffet breakfast and there was a great selection of food. Also very close to the Australian Embassy which was nice lol.

Great location if you want to see the river and Eiffel Tower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a bit of a let down, though clean. I did not like the little cubicle of a toilet separate from the bathroom which was painted a garish purple with a damaged wall. Very basic heating /cooling controls, that did not really work. Finally I had to request an iron and received a non Steam iron with a burnt plate; this then marked my shirt.

The view was non existent from our hotel room but it was in easy walking distance to the Eiffel tower and the Trocadéro Gardens. There was also a shopping mall within walking distance. The rooms were a tight fit but relatively clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for a very short trip. While breakfast was not included, it was cheaper if you are a club member.

This is the second time we have used the services of this hotel and we think it is worth returning. Its position, practically next to the Eiffel Tower, with several restaurants around makes it easy to visit the various points of interest. It's 55 to 60 euros by taxi from Charles de Gaulle airport. Pay attention to the fake taxi drivers, do not stumble upon their conversation, only premes texi of the authorized point.

Very poor cleanliness I recommend to go to another hotel, parking of the hotel for a full day €28 excessive price, outside the hotel there are parking spaces for residents and not with meter with cheaper prices.

Nice hotel, good location, free Wi-Fi. The Mercure chain is characterized by sober hotels that are very tourist-orientated. You will see that it has much acceptance among oriental tourists. Price according to the Paris standard (about €200 night).

We had a privilege double room on the 9th floor with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was small but clean and adequately equipped. The level shower with rain shower as well as seperate loo were also clean and very comfortable. In the room we had a Nespresso coffee machine included as well as free use of the minibar with colas, water and juice.
The location is incomparably located right next to the Eiffel Tower and on foot are louvre, downtown and Notre Dame etc. Good to reach on a nice walk along the Seine.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and check out without any Problems.

Not good wait for hours at the hotel on my 4 week reserved room is from me a gift for my wife's birthday was really not good.

-we had booked a privilege room one of the upper Floors. The hotel is very central. Just 5 minutes to the Eiffel tower!
When we arrived we did not find a parking garage due to the many coaches and Taxis. Are then once around the block because we thought maybe the driveway is Back. In fact there was a small parking lot with about 20 covered parking spaces and a few free in the Yard. On the way to sightseeing, we then discovered the front, free from the traffic rush, that would have been a driveway at the Front. Here maybe, but I can not say for sure, a real and especially big parking garage. The price for 24 hours is here at €28.
— The lobby was very busy at check-in Time. The whole hotel is very nice and modern design. The lifts thanks to Toch-screen technology outside the elevator where one enters the landing floor perfectly! Barely waiting for it. The staff was very friendly and above all Accommodating. The gentleman we checked in was promptly speaking German with us when he noticed that we were speaking german, we would of course not have asked for it.
When we noticed in the evening that the air conditioning didn't work, I went down to ask for a fan. The lady responded very friendly and responsive and passed the info On. 15 min. Later, a gentleman with a fan stood in front of the ROOM.

The room is lovely and clean and well equipped beds are comfortable there is alot of variety on the menu for breakfast and the staff are very friendly but the breakfast is cold I know hotels aren't allowed to serve it piping hot in case someone sues them but there is warm and there is cold bacon cold sausages cold scrambled egg come on guys a little bit warmer please.

Well located but not recommended, very dirty (dirty crystals and cobwebs), do not speak Castilian has neither sauna nor pool, the gym are three old machines and made dust. They don't put shampoo or replace soap tablets. Not recommended.

Good morning to all, I write this review from the breakfast of our last day.
The hotel has an unbeatable situation, nice, very well communicated, the staff although not speak Spanish are struggling to serve you and help you always appreciate and value a lot. The staff of the room fantástic@s always the room very well.
The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was very good.
I recommend bringing the breakfast included PQ is complete what Q do not have outside you can ask, eggs fruits, the staff is lovely that you do not find in the bars of Paris, and outside an average breakfast shooting bad sale €11.
Delighted to have been in this House if we return again have clear Q we will return here.

We had only one night in Paris so I chose this hotel just to get the view of the Eiffel Tower (On my previous 2 trips to Paris I was not able to see the Eiffel tower light up at night so this was my one goal for my one night in Paris). Hotel Mercure did not disappoint. Although there was some general confusion at the front desk because they were extremely busy, it was nothing that a little bit of patience and a drink at the bar didn't solve. (By the way, the hot chocolate at the bar is DELICIOUS! ). The room was amazing! We had a view of the tower from our bed and it was everything I wanted. The hotel has great location, close to the metro and walking distance from the Eiffel tower. A little hiccup was that our mini fridge was not cleaned out and re-stocked, but again, nothing of great importance. The staff was friendly and helpful with all of our questions and request, I'd definitely stay here again.

Well located in the area with a large number of tourist and cultural activities, the Metro, the shopping centre, the city centre and the local sports and tourist activities.

We stayed in a standard room and it was a fairly mediocre experience. The positive aspects are the location — it is extremely close to the Eiffel Tower, which made navigating around the city extremely easy. Aside from location though, our room left a lot to be desired. Only the rooms on the east side of the building will have a nice view of the Eiffel Tower. The rooms on the west side have a pretty ugly view of the parking lot and the back alleyways, which is what we had. We paid for the location, not the view though, so this wasn’t a huge deal for us, just something to be aware of if you’re planning to stay. We also weren’t too impressed with the washroom setup. The washroom is split between two doors, one which contains the toilet and one which contained the sink and shower, both of which came off the entry hallway. Not a big deal for us, but one of the things we really disliked was the smell in the room with the toilet. It smelled like an outhouse. I’m not sure if this is because they kept the cleaning brush in the room with the toilet or what but it smelled terrible. I think we may have gotten somewhat unlucky with our room. It was fairly small, which was to be expected, but the location was good and the staff at the front desk were very helpful, so I would consider staying here again.

Rooms sometimes cramped compared to the price and not always seen on the Eiffel Tower, but we have the "chance" to be at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Restaurant and staff friendly!

Came to stay just for one night here, the location is amazing, 2 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and metro stations! We stayed in a premier deluxe room and were a little disappointed to find the only difference with this room was a coffee machine, extra soap, and some free soft drinks, for the price we expected a larger room and at least breakfast included (Extra £20pp)! Aside from that all staff were lovely and helpfull, the hotel was clean and modern.

Loved staying at Hotel Mercure by Eiffel Tower! Location was perfect, close to trains. Really clean rooms, loved that the mini-fridge included complimentary beverages (depending on type of room you get). Beds were clean, pillows were comfortable. Love the purple decor and images of Eiffel Tower. I had requested a room with Eiffel Tower view, which I didn't get. Other than that, it was lovely.

The hotel is clean enough, it's isn't the nicest or best quality. It's a slightly above average hotel. The biggest plus is the location. It is right next to the Eiffel tower and Central to all tourist locations you may be interested in.

Wow! Staff very friendly! The location is perfect, you step outside the hotel and stand as good as before the Eiffel Tower. Equipment top! The hotel is very modern and clean. Rooms could be a bit newer but I think That's half wild! anyway, we'll be back!

The hotel is very close to the Eiffel Tower. Good services in general but things to review like the condition of the rooms: from the cleanliness question forgetting, from the knocks in the doors. Noisy! There was a gate between our room and the one next door, and thanks for the noise… We were supposed to be in prestige room…

4 star Hotel worth 3. The rooms are poorly maintained, the staff is not pleasant and the price of the drinks is extremely high.
If you want to take advantage of the location (the only asset of this hotel) know that the Pullman is 50m for a few euros more at night and this one is a real 4 stars!

The hotel restaurant and service can be excellent as mediocre (it depends on the days). One day, the risotto served and the dessert are excellent. The next day, I was served a salmon "steam" that was raw inside and chocolate profiteroles without chocolate! The terrace of the restaurant is very pretty and the hotel is very well located (5 min walk from the Eiffel Tower). The service at the reception is variable too (sometimes excellent, other times very average and not at the height of this type of hotel * * * *).

After coming from London and staying in an amazing hotel. This was such a disappoint. The rooms smell. (Had to ask for a different room the first one was totally unacceptable) Second room smells but not as bad. Watch when you have a shower the water goes from hot to cold to hot. The hotel decor is probably best suited for young people. The toilet is separate from the shower. So you go in one door and then out to the next to the shower and sink. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel where the bathrooms are a bright purple. Yes, it is close to the Metro but after being here for two days. There are definitely better neighbourhoods. If you want a cappuccino. Go next door to the Pullman hotel. Nicer restaurant and better prices. I think staying at the Travellodge in Vancouver is a better hotel.

Great location. Check in a little slow however relatively helpful. Rooms good size for Paris however due to occupancy, cleanliness in room wasnt the best. Happy overall and good for families.

Beside the Tour Eiffel, good hall, small room and bathroom, very small.
The breakfast very good, deserves the penalty hire it.

They apparently dont believe in air conditioning! I have stayed here for work for the past 8 years, average 4 times a month… if you're lucky to get a room where the wind blows, open the window for some fresh air… or else best of luck. I've kind of gotten used to it, quit complaining a long time ago. The location is great for tourism, and next to RER and metro stops. 5 min walk to the Tower. Hotel wi fi is not 100% reliable, rooms not really comfortable. Most often 2 twin beds put together make a bed. Great breakfast!

Great location. Good parking garage. Good breakfast. The only thing I didnt like was cleanliness of the room, walls ware dirty and room was full of dust. Price was reasonable for what you get. Oh and staff was friendly. If the room was clean I would have gave them 5 star for my experience.

Very comfortable bed. The room we had was rather small. There was a safe deposit box, a small mini-bar (which was free in our case) and two wardrobes. The toilet was in a separate room from the sink and the shower (which seems to be common in France). The wall was decorated with a large picture of the Eiffel Tower. The Wi-Fi-connection in our room was not that good (8th floor). Not sure if this is common for all floors and room, but I guess not. The breakfast buffet was very nice, with the usual selection of eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, various cereals, juice, pancakes, croissants, pain chocolat, etc. The hotel is close to the Eiffel Tower, but I'm not sure if you can actually see the tower from the hotel (at least not from our room).

This hotel is great for location and that about sums it up. We had two rooms one with a window that didn't open and another with a smell of vinegar. The bathroom didn't feel quite clean and the toilet closet should be condemned I can only guess that the vinegar is used to cover the smell of urine, as this is a pet friendly hotel. The breakfast is average enough for this type of hotel and there are plenty of breads and choices of cheeses. However the carpets are vile and render it impossible to be barefoot. 9 euros for a pint of beer really?

First time staying with an Accor Hotels Hotel… Such a great hotel. We stayed at the Hotel early November and had no complaints. Every need or question that I had was answered. Concierge went extra mile for us. Beds super comfy. View of Eiffel was marvelous. Can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend this Hotel.

Well rooms still smell like smoke. Had to move to another. We had one room that AC did not work, staff brought up fan. Wifi good. No free breakfast. Spent little time here other than to sleep. Beds excellent.

Great location, next to the Eiffel Tower. A walk away from the boat tour, restaurants, and metro. Did not try the breakfast, as we will not eat enough to justify the price. Friendly staff.

Don't be fooled by the photos provided in advertisements for this hotels. The issues started at arrival as we were told that even though we booked a room with a king bed they did not have one so we had to have a room with two twins. We reserved our room 2 months prior to arrival, so when I said this was not acceptable they told us they could push both twin beds together and that would have to do. Again, we told them this was not acceptable so they said they would bring us a king bed so we were to just check in and they would fix the issue. About 20 minutes later a man from housekeeping showed up. He proceeded, and I kid you not, to push the beds together and then zip both mattresses together. He said this is how all beds are at their hotel, that they did not have queen or king mattresses. Of course I called downstairs and was told that we were going to have to just deal with it. The staff was not helpful at all, the bed was very uncomfortable as it dipped in the middle and was completely uneven. I've stayed in many different scale hotels all over the US and Europe, but the hotel rooms in this hotel are tiny. There is no room to walk around the room, and the view is to a parking lot. The room itself was dirty, full of dust, and not vacuumed. The photos make the room look way bigger than it is. The bathroom is literally a closet, two people cannot stand in there and the bathroom while very modern feels cheap with most surfaces being plastic and no room at all.

Had a lovely stay here: friendly and helpful reception staff, nice clean room, close to Metro, RER, many nice restaurants and of course the tower. The only disappointment was not having a view of the tower so book early if you want that. We will definitely stay here if/when in Paris again.

If you were to choose this hotel, only have to do it if is is willing to pay to see the tower all the time (floor 10 onwards) but do not make sense since there is another hotel opposite. The rooms are girls.
We started badly, we had lost bags arrived at the check in time, we were told you have to wait 45 minutes, 3 hours later followed waiting; staff very friendly but if the checkout is an hour and someone still in his fourth saquenlo, tell me the other person did not still is no solution.
Cleaning staff that we had cleaned from time to time, on the third day I realized because, whenever I heard a door open the person who cleans crossing is between an apartment of the Hall and the other by becoming occupied, but was on the phone

The unfortunate attention restaurant, 20 minutes to take the order, I was waiter's young and only stayed 5 times more tables and everyone attended, these were half a dozen to a few people and they made water.
Sincerely do not recommend, the view is excellent, good depending on sector talk about but in general not I felt happy.
The lifts always with problems and select the floor from the outside what is a nuisance and lisa and simply silly.

The Standard of a 4 star Hotels is here fulfilled in any case.

The only good thing about this place is that it's close to effiel tower… not a 4 star hotel for sure… not a value for money. A motel in berlin had better rooms and amenities…

Loved the friendly staff, location next to Eiffel Tower, cafés, restaurants, grocery store, Seine Cruises, hop on/off bus all 5-10 minute walk.

Yummy, comfortable rooms with coffee maker. Walking distance to metro and Eiffel Tower! Good price! Recommended.

Very nice hotel just a few steps from Tour Eiffel. Superb view to Tour Eiffel from the 11th floor junior suite. Friendly and helpful staff, very nice room. Our family was very pleased with this hotel, Thank You Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel.

We had a great time in our room. We had a view of the top of the tower from our room and it was perfect for what we wanted it for. TVs in both rooms as we had the kids in another room. Complementary breakfast and small Eiffel Tower key chains for the kids. Great location and overall a very nice stay that far exceeded our expectations.

We stayed here on a recent layover in Paris, finding it to be clean, comfortable and very close to the Eiffel Tower! It was a nice base from which to walk and explore the nearby surroundings. They have a nice restaurant here which did not disappoint. I'd definitely place this on a list of places to stay if this is the particular area you'd like to be in Paris. There's something about walking two blocks and seeing the Eiffel Tower spring up ahead of you. Just magical.

Excellent location only a few minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and also from the metro. A very friendly welcome from the staff who spoke excellent English. The couple of things we asked for were attended to straight away. The room size is good for a city centre European hotel, and well fitted out. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed, so if you want a twin room then the sofa bed can be folded out, and was very comfortable and a full single bed size with a decent mattress. We didn't eat in, no need as there is a good boulangerie just around the corner on Avenue de Suffren, and also reasonable restaurants locally. Only negative is somewhat up-and-down Wi-Fi in the rooms, sometimes dropped out of an iPad, but absolutely fine when logged in. Would definitely stay here again because of location, friendly staff, and good straightforward if not fancy facilities.

Great location, though family room very small and bathroom should have been cleaner! Buffet breakfast was disappointing, moldy jam. Coffee and croissants were good though. Certainly not a 4 star hotel by any standard. If a bit more attention to detail was taken, it would be worth revisiting.
