Great hotel strategic location near the grand boulevards without being in the confusion, only flaw is that hotel was in the middle of the renovation and we were not warned even the elevator was stationary and the hotel warned us only the same day, we were all young and with older children otherwise 6 floors on foot with older people.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Cramped rooms, you can't even walk in the room once you have luggage in the room. No A/C. Poor customer service. No remorse on poor performance. Instead of finding solutions for distraught customer will ask you to leave and find something different. Stay away from this property if you can.

Having resided in this hotel on the occasion of a business trip, I remain mixed on this hotel. Although the services are quality (including breakfast), the work makes this hotel quite mundane and it is hard to find its 3 stars. The services are quality but the rooms are very spacious and too classic for what you can see and hear. However, I would come back when the work is finished to give me a second opinion.

Hotel Maxim Folies was a quaint and crowded hotel more like a hostel. The staff was very kind and friendly. They were apologetic for the remodeling that caused the ascent to the rooms to be covered in paper and tape and thick with the smell of dust and paint (both elevator and stairs). The water and break room downstairs was cozy and full folks watching the cup game the night we arrived, which made for a fun atmosphere. But for a +6ft tall man with sensitive respiratory allergies, the cramped configuration of the rooms and lack of cool ventilation combined with the paint fumes that were exacerbated by the temporary heat wave caused us to switch hotels.

Lovely location, the view is very parisiam :) the room is very nice, great size and loads of light. Located in a really cool neighbourhood.

Tiny rooms but refurbished and modernized. Lobby is super cool and staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, safe area, close to the opera, close to restaurants.

A nice and clean hotel with helpful staff. The rooms are small, but clean. The breakfast is a little meager, but it should be enough for the first hours of the day.

Warm, clean and comfortable room. On the other side street, it is necessary to improve the soundproofing and regulating the heating. Otherwise breakfast top and staff top too.

Close to everything, central location for a visit to Paris. Metro has 300 m Staff extremely nice and friendly. From the reception to the Lady of the breakfast.
Only downside: A shower curtain is missing:)

The location is good, so you can walk everywhere or take the tub. Rooms are a bit too small and needs a refurbishment (they are busy with it at the moment) Only a bed and two side shelfs next to the bed. No working desk and no wardrobe, but a little place with hangers and a safe. A little too nosy at the night if you keep your window open. This bin truck everyday at 5-6 am is really annoying. Great breakfast and room service Very good place to stay for 2-3 nights, not more.

This was my wife's first trip to Paris. I usually book airbnb but I wanted her to enjoy the comfort of a Parisian hotel, so I booked this. Pros: Location is prime. Stores and restaurants all over the place. Train station very close by The Front desk attendants were so amazing. They were very receptive and answered every and all questions we have. The lobby is quite nice. Especially the suspended basket chairs. My love loved those. the View from our room was awesome! Cons: Very Small Rooms, Pretty cramped. You have to pay for everything, even printing a page. Its not a bad hotel, but the rooms need to be refreshed.

It is very well located and modern. The staff was very helpful. Like most of the budget accommodation in Paris, the standard room is tiny. To penalties it is possible to walk around the bed, I do not want to imagine if one travels with many suitcases.
In my case, this did not affect my stay since after traveling so beautiful city just wanted to sleep.
The cleanliness service was excellent and the bed very comfortable.
I recommend it.

Hotel at affordable rates for the 9em arrondissement. The rooms are small but perfect. It is located a few steps away from the Folies Bergeres. The only small downside: the street side is a little noisy at the time of deliveries. And to conclude the staff is very welcoming.

We stay for 4 days. Good attention. The room for 4 it's ok.

Hotel is in a great location, very central and quite close to a number of subway lines. Rooms are a bit small, but that's to be expected from a Paris hotel. No complaints on how clean it is.

What a wonderful stay we had — a lovely area and a quiet street, near everything you need in Paris. Friendly hotel staff, modern decor and an unforgettable view of classic Haussmann apartments. Rooms are modest and clean. For the price and location, this is as good as it gets for young travellers and couples. Bonus: a grocery market at the end of the street!

The hotel is in a convenient location and pier near the Metro. The area is very lively in the evening, but the soundproofing of the room is great. The staff is helpful and the room, however a bit small, has every comfort. The look of the property is very vintage with some trash note that doesn't hurt.

Good hotel, great location, clean, well appointed and friendly staff. The rooms are a bit small and even the double, for two people, should not be very convenient. All in all highly recommended.

I was not in the hotel but I wanted to put a notice because their hosting of the disability policy is unacceptable. My husband being in a wheelchair we did not book a standard room because it's the… well accessible suite course at a high price. A disability should not be a way of taking people hostage. It is deplorable.

He had planned the trip for the week that already comes all expenses paid, €300, and after the attacks say that they feel so that they do not return me the money, without any kind of solucion. Vergonzoso…

What a great hotel! The staff was super friendly and the price was great… Not super close to the attractions but that is not a bad thing. We were close enough to the metro where it was not an issue. Honestly, being out of the way made our evening enjoyable and quite.

The hotel needs small restorations, she looks sloppy, as opposed to what you would like to show the lobby, which offers a hatel design. Small rooms, maybe less than 10sqm. They wanted to put in an attic, but we did move to a room at the 5° floor with large balcony, no wardrobe or chest of drawers, just a small shelf. Those traveling with luggage is uncomfortable, it is not a place to stay for a long time. Even the bathroom is small, although efficient. All wedding pics as partly offset by location in a lovely neighborhood. Where we stayed at other times-but around there are lots of hotels where maybe we would be better. For 140 euros per night I expected better.

We spent eight wonderful and unforgettable days this nothing short of fantastic. Besides being completely new, is spotless, the staff is available for any clarification and/or help, good breakfast with fresh products and quality. The hotel is located among other things in a central part of Paris where you can easily reach the Louvre, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Opera, near the Galeries Lafayette, Hard Rock and the Grevin Museum. In the surroundings you will find delicious restaurants where you can eat well on a budget. We recommend it to everyone and in short, absolutely we will return.

I arrived the press and outside there was a basement, so there was no possibility to open the window (which I absolutely did) and there was not even an air conditioner, then it never changed the air. Shortly after they upgraded our room.
