Our stay was amazing. We arrived around 1:30 a. M. To the hotel and though the reception is only available until 22:45 p. M. They kindly left a note saying that they had left the key in the next corner hotel. It is very well located in the center of the city and the staff is super kind to help you with any question or recommendation you need. We were very pleased to have stayed in this hotel.

The location is fabulous. There are always trades. There is no elevator or A/C, but the price is great, especially for those willing to have a shared shower or toilet. I stayed there July 2018 and would return.

Great little hotel right by the Notre Dame, close to things like bus stops so very good location. For the price, the rooms are pretty good and don't expect to be staying in a 5 star hotel. But other than that, the breakfasts are great, and location so I would definitely recommend this to people.

The best thing about the hotel is the location and the spacious and comfortable rooms. The shared bathrooms on the second floor do not exist. Just a shower. You have to go to the first floor or the third. The common breakfast, as usual there, nothing extraordinary. The good news is that they have kitchens available to guests until 21.30 hours. The staff was very friendly, but in the morning we witnessed two times the owner's discussions with an employee. Well, that was unfortunate.

The hotel has good location, very close to 2 metro stops, as far as the theme of the bathroom is very uncomfortable and small. Breakfast is very poor. If your stay is short this well but if you stay longer there are more options.
We did not like to hear a discussion among the employees was a very uncomfortable situation.

Hotel or you have to be a little sporty as there are only stairs and lots of floors. The liabilities or those in difficulty abstain if not very good welcome and nice breakfast. Ideal for young couple and families as they accept large families. Reasonable price.

Amazingly helpful and friendly staff, good view from the balcony and everything you need in the room. The breakfast is pretty basic but tasty. The location is in the centre and all sightseeing spots are very nearby. Can definitely recommend this hotel as a good and cozy starting point to your trip to Paris.

Hi, I´d like to offer a realistic review of this hotel, based on our experience. We were a group of 24 students aged between 16-18; not 15, and 2 teachers. Well, when we arrived, we wanted to get into the hotel as quickly as possible, it was pouring raining and the receptionist left us outdoors while he shouted an explanation about the hotel´s rules, which by the way didn´t take from 3-6 minutes, it was about 10. He said that we were all under a canopy but 26 people obviously didn´t fit there and besides us, our suitcases got wet too. We had to go upstairs with our lugagge, the stairs were narrow and uncomfortable for doing that. One of my friends couldn´t go upstairs due to a medical problem and he made her go to the sixth floor, and even though she told him that that wasn´t her room, the only thing she received were shoutings. After that, we headed to our rooms. There wasn´t so much space in them, so it was pretty uncomfortable to fit in and most of them were supposed to be for 4 people. Minutes later, another friend of mine sent us a message, his room didn´t even have a proper ceiling. Another thing I´d like to mention is that we may not be bilingual, but some of us have degrees on this language such as B2, so I think that we knew how to speak it. As a personal experience, he told one of my teachers that he had misunderstood me because my English level was bad, when I have that degree.

I want this comment to help other tourists looking for hotel, and be warned of what you can find.
The hotel itself was bad, even though you couldn't ask much more of a star hotel in Europe, but what was worse was the treatment of the receptionist or hotel manager. My group of companions, 24 and two teachers, we arrived when it was raining, the receptionist, we received shouting, explaining the ' rules ' (which then other guests did not meet) under an awning, in which 26 people were not fit, so half a group was out Of the awning getting drenched, and those that were under the awning, were also wet, because it had leaks.
Therefore, the welcome was nothing good, and much less pleasant.
By handing out the rooms, I just told the receptionist, who had been mistaken, that my room was on the ground floor and not on the six as I had said, as I had no elevator and I can't climb stairs. I tried to tell him, the only thing I got was screams on his part and I had to climb 6 floors with the suitcase, in a staircase not appropriate to go up with luggage, since they were snail and very narrow.

A Hotel with a very modern theme. Receptionist was not friendly, his assistant did. Breakfast was not varied and the juices were disgusting. We were out of hot water for a whole day and the water was gushing. No TV and no cleaning under the beds. They did not change the bath towels and the stoves were broken. They greeted us with the rain on top and didn't even let us in. From the first moment there was bad vibe between my classmates and the receptionist or hotel manager. They also sent us to shut up when the OTRS rooms made noise at 3:00 in the morning. When they "clean" they change the suitcases of place and they may touch the inside.

Good location, rooms were quiet but stairs were steep and I tripped down it few times, it was a bit hard to walk up to 4th floor but it was ok. Breakfast was also good and drinks including coffe and hot chocolate were delicious. Our room for 4 people was a bit small and maid moved my camera to closet so that I had to look for it few times. The staff were very friendly and I liked this place, would recommend!

Small building of six floors modifying as a star hotel! It is perfectly located, close to the Notre Dame Cathedral, with Metro and bus connections! Good value for money! Breakfast in good quantity and quality! For putting a paste: I had no elevator (6 floor) and the bed was not at all comfortable and noisy!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and mainly the bathrooms are incredibly small and have no elevator, but a very steep spiral staircase, so you should ask what floor your room will be in. We got 6th floor and it became very complicated our stay.

This is a very good hotel. We just recently stayed in this hotel few weeks ago and we really enjoyed our stay in Paris. The location is superb near to the metro, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Staffs are nice and very helpful. Very nice and cozy hotel. Those who work there are very friendly and speak several languages. There are posters with tourist information (maps, places of interest and how to get to them, airport transfers, how to manage in public transport and prices of the same) the rooms have the minimum necessary but they are neat and the bathrooms although small are Very modern. Ideal If one is going to be out for a walk all day and goes to the hotel almost only to sleep.
There is a common room where one can make a tea or coffee and sit down to hang out. And there is a room where you can go to do washing and drying clothes.
The negative detail was that it is a six-storey hotel and is accessed only by stairs.

I've been to this hotel many times now, and I can safely assure you that this is a high quality hotel. Not only is the breakfast included in the cost of your stay (unlike all other hotels in the quartier latin), but the service in general is great. The reception is always ready to welcome you or help with any problematics you encounter. Furthermore, there's a lounge room where you can relax or get to know new people. St. Michel, Cluny la Sorbonne and Maubert Mutualite, these metro stations are just around the corner. There are nice restaurants and shops around. Although the hotel is in the very central part of Paris, it is safe and quiet.

Except housekeeping staff everything was alright. They enter the room without knocking the door and there should be do not disturb sign maybe. Lady at the main desk was very helpful. Location is perfect.

Hotel ideally located in the heart of Paris, two steps away from everything that is interesting, with two good restaurants next door. I enjoyed my room (with a balcony, and a charming, functional, clean) and my interlocutors (Roland Keniger, and Brigitta). Furthermore, this hotel follows the latest cultural events in Paris and can tell you, it is a plus! Side Culture and Heritage, it's solid. The price of the rooms is attractive, the breakfast offered. So well located, friendly, generous, with a kitchen freely available and a very good home… this hotel is a good value! In addition, it is also the story of a family. I strongly recommend it : we can go there with confidence. For restaurants : le Pré Verre is just next door. It offers " home-made ", with pans of copper in the kitchen… And the Sen, the more close to Cluny, but always two steps away, is great kindness and freshness. Flavours of Vietnam authentic, availability, fresh foods and smile… with a very good price /quality ratio given the freshness of the products!

It is an old hotel. My room only had a bed and bathroom, no television or refrigerator. The dining area was under maintenance, so the continental breakfast was at a small restaurant down the street.

Hotel is located in the Latin area of Paris almost at the cozy center the sociable staff.

This place has the best location and price — right in the middle of the Latin Quarter; 10 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Our room was clean and nice as well. We had a WC and shared shower, and it worked fine, for my family of four. The hosts are also great, much like a B&B. The Hotel has been family owned and run for 60 years, which shows. The breakfast was nice: croissants, baguettes, cheese and coffee. Very fast, free Wi-Fi also. The real reason you stay here, though, is the location and the price. Everything else is a nice bonus! That being said, this real estate is premium, so space is limited. There's no lift or A/C, so really consider if this is for you, above the 3rd floor (>room #17). If you have less than stellar knees, our plan on bringing heavy bags, then plan on leaving those bags securely in the office, and hiking up spiral stairs! We did ok on the 3rd floor, but any higher… I don't know. And there are 6 floors! You don't come to this hotel to hang out, or enjoy the view, because there aren't any views either. You come here to enjoy Paris and hang out in Paris and enjoy the views in Paris, for much less $$ than other places. For that, it's perfect.

Tiny walk up but for the price, it's got great value with free breakfast and amenities. USB charger in the walls saved my life. They just need to redo the awning and carpet so it doesn't feel so grimey. The rooms are super cute.

The best feature of this hotel is the location! It's in the heart of the French Quarter! It's not particularly what I would have chosen with children. The steps were steep and the elevator was not working. The rooms were small for what I expected but it was inexpensive. It's located in a busy neighborhood so it's not particularly quiet. Overall it's in a great location and if can tolerate noisy, small rooms then it's not terrible. Plus you do get breakfast.

The hotel is very nice, ideally located in the historic Latin Quarter in central Paris, just 600 meters from the Jardin du Luxembourg. Budget rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Ask for rooms with a balcony, they are very nice to sit in the evenings and to listen to the street life. The shower is shared on the floor, some have a private bathroom.
A free continental breakfast is served every morning in the Marignan's dining room. Free laundry services are also available.
The metro station is just 150 metres away and offers easy access to many of the famous tourist attractions. Notre Dame Cathedral is 800 metres away. Public parking is available nearby.
5th arrondissement: The Latin Quarter is a great choice for those interested in food, history and art.
Notre Dame Cathedral-only 450 m. The famous Parisian cathedral is not only the home of Quasimodo, but also an incredible example of Gothic architecture.
This is the favorite part of the city, if you come for a walk then this is a good budget option. The hotel has no elevators and very narrow staircases.

To make justice to this hotel should take into account what you pay at hotels located nearby, considerably higher than this. The location is unbeatable, in full Barrio latino, to few blocks of Notre give me. The room was simple. The staff is very nice, offering all the necessary tourist information for a better enjoyment of the city. Has a service of washing of clothes free, that was very useful. The breakfast is quite good. It has free Wi-Fi.
The great defect of this hotel, and that perhaps explain its rate, is the absence of lift. I stayed on the 4th floor and it was quite difficult to go my bags up the staircase.

Great budget hotel in central Paris. Great location for visiting the city and all major monuments. Very close to a very equipped with restaurants and interessanrte to walk. Very uncomfortable the tiny spiral staircase leading to the upper floors. Good and plentiful breakfast.

We loved it. Pleasant, helpful staff, free laundry, simple, nice rooms, relatively quiet, convenient to Blvd Saint-Germain, Metro, Pantheon, Notre Dame, Rue Mouffetard, etc. We stayed 5 nights in April 2011 and would absolutely stay there again. A simple, good breakfast is included.

Rooms are not beautiful but they are comfortable and clean and the toilet and shower just steps away. The stair climbing got me prepared for walking across Paris. The staff was very helpful and nice. Good basic French breakfast. Great location. In our experience it was very quiet. Sometimes we heard people on the stairs but not often. I would stay there again and use the money I save on a museum pass and great dinners.
