Very clean, very modern, great location as the metro station is right beside you and the staff were absolutely brilliant, and the bed was so comfy, it was perfect for our two nights in Paris the only complaint and it's a fairly minor complaint is the room is very small, but you can get over that, it was only a place to sleep at night while you explore the next day.

Great reception and helpful front desk staff. Nice neighborhood, close to metro entrance, nice cafes in the area. Hotel room is what you would expect for a 3 star Hotel, smallish, but clean. Not much room for putting clothes away.

We recently stayed at this hotel. One night on our way to the hotel we were robed on Stalingrad station. We were beat up by two men and had our camera stolen. When we went to the police to make a report they told us this station, one of the two next to the hotel is one of the most dangerous in Paris. We felt the hotel could have given us a heads up about this. When we came back to the hotel with a bloody face after the robbery the guy at the door couldn't even give us the number to the police station. We moved to a different hotel the next day but they didn't give us money back for our cancellation. My personal recommendation is to stay away from this neighborhood when visiting Paris. To be more specific about the robbery it happens as you exit the metro station, one guy holds the exit door open while another runs to snatch your things then runs back into the station through the one way exit door so you cant run after him, its a well rehearsed thing, it happens fast.

Clean, good value, friendly staff, convenient location. Also, excellent air conditioning on a couple of very hot days. Fantastic bed, and the shower had great pressure.

Clean, but small we were in the loft " TOP FLOOR". Amenities were great. Location was close to main arteries. In all good experience.

Very good hotel. We had a good last minute price on TripAd €60 the comfort room instead of €144. The hotel is very good, clean and comfortable. Well placed. 2 steps from the Canal St Martin and the Bassin de Villette. Small balcony on the bedroom on the 7th floor: it's nice.

Our room was too much but too small, the bathroom sink was so small that whatever you were doing the water was falling on the ground, plus there was work going on, pity. It is in a good location and with the Metro nearby (line 2 jaurés) you can go anywhere… quiet neighborhood and there are shops everywhere, friendly staff, if it wasn't for the room it was 5 star.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Metro, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Not bad for the price you have, but you have to improve many things. The curtain to cover the window and not between light, does not cover well and comes in a lot of light. The shower tray has no curtain and all the water is out, and the air conditioner makes a very annoying noise even when it is off.
I doubt he'll come back.

The rooms were very clean except they were kind of small but that wasn't a problem for me. The Wi-Fi worked everywhere and it was fast. TV had almost every nations's television channel. The staff was very helpful to us and it is close the subway. There is a carefour 2 steps from the hotel and a bakery which makes delicious breads. Definitly recommend.

Close to the Metro Jaurès with all the amenities around. Clean and well appointed rooms. Ideal for a short stay next to La Villette.

Good value for money breakfast hearty and delicious staff friendly and helpful to the booking comfort room with two single beds and a double bed on arrival we were either saying upgraded room privilege with a double bed no little bathroom space storage with an unusable towels placed in height and inaccessible disappointed with our previous stay in this hotel we think we have been "scammed"

White Night unbearable noise, room not made at 15h, bed small and uncomfortable not worthy of a 3 star.

It is very close to Metro station and Gare del est Station and Gare du Nord. The area at night does not look very safe but we had no downside. There is a receptionist who speaks Spanish and is super attentive and friendly.

+ clean (but small) room + every day a bottle of water free + friendly staff + good location (very close to Metro, supermarket, ways to eat, e. G. McDonald's) — small room — no wardrobes available price goes fine, if only in the Local comparison. Ger again.

One night stay, I had no problems. Nice people at the reception desk. Clean rooms and modern furnitures. I'm satisfied with the experience.

This hotel comes with all the basics. The bed was comfortable, TV, aircon, shower and a nice continental breakfast buffet but is let down by the noise. I spent 3 nights and 1st night for hours all I could here was the noisy people in the next room. On the last night at 5am a women was shouting in the corridors. This isn't directly the hotels fault but they didn't seem to stop it either. Apart from that the staff were pleasant. Glad I was only staying 3 nights.

Very unpleasant reception. Room reserved for 3 with 2 large beds on booking. On our arrival, room for 2 only. Forced to go somewhere else. Not cool.

Hotel was nice. Room was clean. Staff excellent. However this was the first time my wife and I came to see Paris. The reason for 4 stars has to do with the area of location. The area directly outside the hotel was nice with an awesome bakery next door. However walking anywhere within 5 minutes of the hotel seems to be a "bad" area of town. Area just didnt feel safe (could have just been us not being able to speak French) There also seemed to be a large homeless camp near the hotel.

Overall our stay here was fine. It was the last night of our trip, and we just needed a place close to the train station. But our room was weird. It was the only room that faced out onto a courtyard, so there were people (other visitors to the hotel, I think) constantly hanging out right outside our window. The door and windows didn't seal well, so it didn't make for the most restful stay. The shower is also very strange. It's in the main living area of the room, separated only by a glass door that covers half of the opening. So when you're showering, you're in full sight of anyone who is in the bed, with no way to gain any privacy. That, combined with the fact that the lack of a real door causes water to get everywhere, was not great. For families, I assume this would be a deal-breaker. Like I said, though, our stay overall was fine. It was a fair price for a clean room, and that's more than you can expect from some of the hotels in this area.

Lovely hotel and was perfect for myself and my partner. On arrival, staff were very welcoming — they gave us a map and highlighted where the hotel was in Paris and guided us towards nearby metros to help us with our travels out and abouts. The room was small but was a good size for us — we barely spent time in it as we were out exploring. Housekeepers were lovely and cleaned/changed our beds everyday. The only thing was that the air vent/fan was quite loud but after a long day of walking I was too tired to even care. The street traffic wasn't too loud either, once the window was closed it was quiet. Breakfast was lovely and served a good variety of food. The metro was a 2 second walk away and there were surrounding restaurants and local shops to go out to dinner to etc. The Eiffel tower was only a 20 minute train journey so despite not being in the centre of the city, it was still very easy to get to only costing €1.90 a journey. We had to check out at 11am on our final day and didn't want to carry our bags around; the hotel had a luggage room to us to store our bags safely while we spend our last day exploring! Good priced hotel, would recommend and come back to!

The hotel is great, we spent three days and we loved it. The staff is very friendly, the room very cozy, the bed comodisima and the furniture quite modern and new. Right next to the hotel there is a bakery that makes things delicious and what is more important to move around Paris is that it has the metro right in front. Would pick this hotel without any doubt.

Do not touch this hotel with a barge pole! they are holding my money unlawfully and refusing to refund the difference between the original dates I booked and the one's I've changed them too. Their customer service is disgusting!

The guys on the reception were very nice, location is good as well but it was smelling different, the rooms. I don't know why maybe because of McDonald's. Breakfast is paid. Wi-Fi works fine. Rooms at the upstairs were small imo.

I enjoyed my stay here. Modern clean compact room with everything I needed, maybe a bit small but it didn't matter to me, rooms in paris are generally small anyways and I don't stay in the room except to rest/sleep. Good service, the receptionist kindly explained the map to me. The location although not in the centre of paris, but easily accessible since it's near to a metro stop.

Just got back from here, has everything you need for visiting paris. Modern comfortable room, comfortable beds and next to a metro stop (jaurès) for quick access to the main attractions. Excellent. The only negative (not the hotels fault) is the area is a little daunting especially if you arrive here late on a Friday night like we did. However we had no trouble at all. There is a McDonald's across the road and a subway (handy for grabbing a drink when you return late at night from sight seeing). The staff were excellent, rooms cleaned everyday and were on hand for any queries. I would stay here again.

We spent a week in the hotel and the experience has been very positive. The room, yet still small (very normal thing in the center of Paris) was very full, new, cosy, clean and comfortable, with coffee to prepare each morning (merci! ). The bathroom, also small, but also full and with a hairdryer. The hotel staff polite and helpful. To improve, the shower screen, the crystal being not close all the way and escapes the water (a few strips of silicone would help the closing), and made a "clack" very strong and unpleasant to be opened. If you want a good hotel, without a very high cost, this is a great option.

Clean, relatively roomy, inexpensive. Everything one requires for one day (me) or I suppose more, seeing as how you should be outside — this is PARIS — go!

Is it possible to park your car in a parkinglot.

We were in June 2012 and was not to our liking completely. The room was very small, also the bathroom, which was not in fact toilet deep (fungi in the corners) and without ventilation of any kind. I would not recommend it for that, but the proximity of the metro is the best.

We had a great time here. Next time when we travel to paris, we will definitely stay here once again.

The walls had mold, the carpet was really dirty, the bathroom in a bad condition. The smell in the room because of the mold, awful. The photos they provide not representative. Additionally, small room, rude stuff, and we could not even have one extra towel that we needed. Finally, the area around the hotel is slightly rough. A really bad hotel, not recommended at all. Zero starts would be better.

A good hotel for reasonable money. Located very close to the Metro station, near a lot of pastry and coffee shops, there is a McDonald's.
Rooms are very small, but clean and there is the most need. The only upset was no closet. Only hook and a pair of hangers.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and I would choose this hotel again if the price was low.

Marriage a schmudeliges hotel in a prime location, approximately 3 minutes walk from the Metro station "Jaurès". I would recommend the hotel only those, who place no value on the comfort and cleanliness. While the bed linen and towels were white, surprised the room with his smeared walls and dirty carpet. The room was so small that it was not possible to get from the front door to the window. Ideal for a routes young couple who wants to keep up in the room.

Pro's: Clean, Safe, Cheap by Paris hotel rates. Con: Tiny rooms, Shower so small you almost can't get in. Neighborhood is not too good.
