Stunning building, lovely friendly staff… glad to be back. All in all the perfect location and package for a visit to Paris.

The internet sucks but the staff was very pleasant (especially when promising to fix the internet). If you are on a business trip like I was back then and are in need of a broadband connection — avoid Le Clos Medicis.

Very well located clean quiet just the bed too small and very nice little terrace as I asked in the mall.

I arrived about 11pm and had a very easy check-in for my 18-hour layover in Paris. The lobby and breakfast patio were beautiful. My French is fairly bad but the staff was very accommodating and clear. Room was small but clean, modernly-outfitted, lovely, and practical. Wi-Fi was superb. I'll definitely return here with my husband and teen children instead of other hotels I've stayed at in Paris, because of this visit… and the hotel's ideal location among the sites of the city and to the RER B metro line for Charles de Gaulle. Thank you for making a rough two days of travel between Africa and home to the U. S. A bearable one!

Lovely Boutique hotel with air conditioning. Essential during hot summer months.

Good hotel, clean. Very nice and accommodating at the reception.
Rooms as everywhere in Paris a little small. Air-conditioned, safe available, elevator. Well located, metro stations Luxembourg and Odeon within short running distance.
Breakfast cafes all over the corner.
The best way to park your car is in the parking garage "Ecole de Médecine" at the Odeon. We had reserved by parclick. For loading and unloading you can also stop at the hotel.

I went with my partner, very well placed, and near the car park I will come back.

Hotel located in the Latin quarter, close to any part of Paris, reasonable price, comfortable room and bathroom comfortable, without luxuries;right care;I would not mind to return by the price-quality relationship and situation.

The hotel is more of a 3 star level of cleaning and the services provided. The rooms are small, as is the custom in Paris, but maintained and with beautiful color combinations. The bathroom is clean and spacious compared to the room. Very convenient location close to transport and with many local asian under the house to try! Good price for Latin quarter!

For location and service it is 5 stars and fantastic. Right by trains/bus/metro and walking distance to most noteable locations. This is great if you just want to explore Paris and need a bed for the night. If you are after a more comfortable experience be aware the rooms are tiny and barely fits luggage. The walls are thin and if you are a light sleeper you will need ear plugs. This is quite common for Paris and we were prepared for this. The bathroom had some mould and would make the entire room damp if you did not open windows. Overall it was fine for us and we would stay again.

Perfect location to get to the many places to visit in Paris. It ranks between the Metro Odeon and the Luxemburg stop (thanks to which you can reach the airport Ch. De Gaulle! Very friendly and helpful staff Overall good structure that met all my needs, only negative note the slightly small bed (double)

For low season pricing, there are better deals. I reserved the best room and found the quality to money spent ratio was not great value. Cute cozy lobby, friendly staff and deluxe room, even by Paris standards is a bit small. Location is great.

Very nice small hotel, good position in Paris for bohemian student Latin quarter. There are other hotels with better star ratings but I think the star rating on the hotel guide suits the place as an honest rating. I give it a four out of five because I like quirky, simple no fuss accommodation. This place is simple has a nice ambience, is clean a good place to return to after a busy day walking and sightseeing to rest before the next days adventure. I would stay here again.

Clean and nice hotel. We regret the unpleasant reception as well as the fact of having no answer to my mail before my arrival.

Location was very good, and so were the staff. What was not so good, was the room. It was generally a bit unclean. The sheets had some dark spots (looked like dried blood), and some faint yellow stains. The staff changed immediately when notified, but I woyld have expected this not to happen in the first place — it was very noticeable. The bathroom was looking good at first, but when I looked a bit closer, the shower was full of red algea in the grout, and after I took a shower, the whole floor was wet until it was cleaned up with a towel. Even the glasses on top of the minibar had very visible spots, and I would not drink from them. All in all, a bit disappointed. A+ for location and friendly staff, but I would not recommend it as it is now.

We had a great time. The hotel is convenient to everything and is in a great neighborhood. Service is excellent. We will be back.

Room a little small, but functional and quiet. Funny detail, the sound of the TV was also distributed in the bathroom: practical to continue to follow the program when you are in the shower!

Great boutique hotel! Service is wonderful, stuff is really friendly and always spot on. Our room has lovely old beams that bring up the character and a very comfy bed. Definitely would recommend.

Nice boutique hotel in a good spot to see the Parisian attractions. All within walking or Metro distance. Clean, rustic, and cosy. Rooms were a little on the small size, but you have to expect that in a traditional building like this.

Have to say the bed is really fabulous! Cozy room for sure but lovely and the bathroom is great! Staff are very helpful and friendly — and tolerate my very limited French with good humor. Location can't be beat. Agree with another poster about breakfast — nice but pricey — you can do very well grabbing a croissant and coffee from the little store up the street. Have really enjoyed this hotel.

I love this adorable + hip boutique hotel! It's in a perfect location steps from the Jardin du Luxembourg, a nice stop on the way to wherever the day takes you. The rooms here are lovely and stylish; the service is friendly and helpful. Great amenities and a cute + cozy courtyard perfect for enjoying breakfast in the fresh air.

A fabulous boutique hotel in central Paris. Walkable to l'Ile de France, Louvre, museums, and fabulous shops/restaurants on the Rive Gauche. Very clean hotel rooms, fabulous bathrooms, excellent service; kind and very welcoming staff. The breakfast is a bit pricy and the dining room cramped — but I dream of this hotel — and look forward to returning almost every year for a few nights. Have stayed here 4 times, and will be back in the Spring.

Summary based on several stays over several years, as well as positive reports from those that I've referred here: — great location (close to RER B that serves CDG) — rooms have been ok and not claustrophobic. Quiet. Bathrooms better than adequate. — ok prices — very friendly and helpful service. Ok with those that don't speak French well or at all. Lately I've been getting breakfast in the neighborhood. Food is fine, but somewhat pricey.
