The price is too expensive for what it really is, the room smelled bad from the moment we entered there is no air conditioning and being on the first floor you share a terrace with another 5 rooms and you must sleep with the window closed for security, a lot of heat! The only "clean" I saw were the beds, the receptionist who checked us in quite antipatico, I asked for a little explanation in the price since we asked to pay in $ and they gave us prices in euros in the end I do not recommend it, I stay one night more because I already paid and I can not cancel but really lousy, the only rescatable thing is the location.

Rooms are smelly and dirty; you can't stay unless you open the window which doesn't let the sun in or anything but just to breathe. Only one power outlet in the room for the TV; I suffered charging my phone, laptop & camera each day. Wifi is weak and wasn't working at all at one night. Prices are totally inconsistent with the service provided.

Is there a way to give less than 1 star? Manager tried to trick us into buying an abysmal breakfast 'buffet' for 10 euros per person per day, which consisted of little more than a croissant and some toppings, along with disgusting coffee. Their hotel Wi-Fi is basically nonexistent, and the walls are the exact opposite of soundproof. There were also stains on the towels (which they didn't replace) and the room was simply a bit dirty overall. In conclusion, opt out for this one.

This hotel is disgusting, is incredible dirt and horrible… this place smell of dust and I need to sleep with the open windows… really, dont try this if you are sane of mind.

To be fair, I wasnt looking for a luxury hotel but to have a place to stay for the night and the hotel did a good job. All the other reviews are true but I slept well, Ive seen Paris what else could I want more? After 5 nights there, yes the staff is friendly and helpfull, the walls are quite thin but I was lucky with my neighbours so I did get a nice good sleep. I thought the street would be quiet but it was a busy street in the end with lots of cafes but with earbuds it was alright and after midnight the noise kinda breaks down. I think the room was previously a smoking room so you can still smell it. The shower room is small, I really can not imagane large people fit into the shower. Its an old hotel with old everything so you cant expect a lot. If they would do a reconstruction the price would certainly atleast double. Ive had clean towels, soap, clean bedding sheet and a soft good matrace and Paris under my feet for 5 days what else could I possibly want?

Too bad for the water leak on the top floor when it rains. Otherwise the room has a lot of charm. It is well placed to make a good stroll in Paris.

Don't step on this hotel! The 13/05/2018 I stayed in this hotel which I stole everything with the complicity of the staff robbed me all the money and cards the manager makes the moron. I ruined the vacation after 2 years of work to be there!

The rooms are narrow.

5th's room. Hotel typical of the old buildings which has its charm but nothing to do with the standardized hotels. The only downside: the yellow curtains and a need for refreshment. Very good reception and breakfast simple but complete. However, do not take the coffee to the machine it is infected.

The hotel for its cost is just great, it is one of the cheapest. Located in the center of the city, nearby there is an inexpensive super market, working up to 22.00. The room is certainly small, but it is 2 *, so what can be a complaint, but there is a full bath, no balcony. Breakfast is very different from eggs, ham, cheese, cereal, juice, prunes, yogurts. So we were satisfied who needs a super service and Gras for breakfast take the hotel more expensive. Combination price-quality is quite good.

Not very clean Hotel with foul smells.

To spend one night and go. A little, little, nor dare I put… Cu… sorry, that's right. A little something to put on.

Dirty. You will feel like you gonna sleep in a public toilet. How come they got 2-star broken window, broken door and broken hair dryer. we asked them about the stains on the bed （its everywhere act）and they said its not a problem ok, merci. Do not book this public toilet to just make your holiday bad.

Horrible place. Noisy, dated, horrible beds… Not a nice experience…

Too noisy This two nights,,, I paused the question about 3 H 35 if did not do it on purpose next time I go elsewhere.

Location is good. Near to a few metro. There was small convenience stores nearby and nice restaurants. But everything else was … Room was old and dirty, sheets, blanket and towels had stains on them. Bed was hard and pillow was so thin, it was barely there. Walls are thin, you can hear the Neighbours talking or walking around pretty clearly. Traffic from the road was loud as well. Only 1 wall socket available. And Wi-Fi was almost non existent.

The hotel is very simple and quite quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful… The truth is that I have no complaints. It has two Metro stops very close and the East station (Gare de L"Est). Repeat.

My room was tiny, dirty, extremely noisy, yuck!

Good location Kind. Lack of light, very poor facilities. Simple but good. Very shabby but it makes up for your situation.

The hotel is large but the rooms are moderately arranged. And finally the location of the rooms (overlooking the street) make the hotel noisy.

Carpets old Curtains Ditto clean but ages the rooms are to refresh Tv. HS Shower curtain limit breakfast at will but limit in variety.

Good location to all famous landmarks, easy walks. Basic room. Bit dark though.

Cheap Hotel, but that from really little. Booked a triple room with separate beds, there was given, instead, a room with a double bed (to a square and a half) and a single bed on a loft so close to the ceiling that a person of medium height could not stay there. Good bathroom, very large compared to the room. The location though is good, since in 10 minutes you can get to the center of Paris and the Metro stops that lead where you want. Recommended for young people who want to spend little while staying close to the center and who does not care too much about quality.

Small cheap hotel for one or two nights. Good it's true the room is small and it's a bit run. The staff were friendly. It's still in the middle of Paris. No catch near the bed = for me big black Point because I had a sleeping machine to plug in and the night watchman did not manage to find me an extension cord.

The rooms are dirty. Shower head fixture is broken. Towels are so old that it's hard to tell how clean/dirty they are. The only saving grace of the place is its location. Very close to restaurants and public transportation.

Very small rooms, the bed that is supposed to be for 2 people is like for 1.5. Very old towels (couldn't be sure if really old, or not clean), shower head holder is broken, no minibar, no air conditioning, door cards do not work properly, Wi-Fi is weak. Location is really good though. They tried to help when we asked as well.

Nice service, great location. The building is old but I can't complain for the price I paid.

Ok hotel, the big wooden room is cool. Dont pay for breakfast because its too expensive and not worth it. The location is nice and the service is nice.

Not much for amenities, but really good price.

Hotel decor is considerably tired & dated & in places quite grubby, but the staff were warm & friendly & the bottom line was where else in this area of Paris do you get your own Bathroom & a working Shower & 24Hr reception for less than £30 a night… perfect for our lads trip, wouldn't take a lady there!

My mom came to Paris, she had so book a room in this hotel. Single to 93 euros, a bit expensive, but it's Paris. We were together when she went to ask these cases. We enter the tiny room, dirty walls, stains on the carpet, when my mom saw the tasks are first reflex was to open the bed to check cleanliness before ask Affairs. There are 5 large white spots (like sperm) on the cover. We're back live at the reception. She asked for another room, the receptionist has insinuate that she wanted to change rooms because it was small, he even said, but you've seen pictures on the internet. My mom answered the TAC to tac, Yes, but he had no spots on the pictures. We went to the second House that he gave her. Very large, saw clean look, big and own bath room. My mom opened the bed, the sheets were gray, and there were big stains of about 10 centimetres in diameter. She refused to sleep there. They have never wanted to reimburse the House nor breakfast already paid what she obviously wasn't going to take. The question, do you have a clean room, he did not even bother to respond. Tiny room, access to my room is not very convenient (two door luns after another, no light between the two, it was announced me a bath, there is not. Only one socket in the room and away from the bed, a single light + one in the shower. The street is very noisy. It's hot as hell in the room and the radiator tap does not work, TV captures just 4/5 channels. Serte we is in the heart of paris but I can't push!

I don't know, I'm just not loved even though the staff is fairly nice.

After spending a night in this hotel I was very surprised and amazed of the calm that reigns in the hotel. Indeed you are wouldn't know in Paris while in full-on the street in the faubourg poissonnière. A real treat for a sleeper.
