Great customer service and great location!

Nice hotel in the middle of everything in Paris. Good for Honeymooners. Breakfast room and lobby are a little too small for my taste.

The Villa Royale is a hidden gem in Pigalle. For the price you get plenty of amenities and you're right next to the metro without hearing it. The breakfast was decent and the restaurant next door was excellent! There are some adult/lingerie shops nearby but other than that we liked the area, just something to possibly keep in mind if you are traveling with children. I would definitely stay here again given the great deal we got.

Lovely stay. Big room. Big bed. Big Jacuzzi bath! Very friendly and polite staff.

Located in the semi ghetto part of town close to the Moulin Rouge. Transportation options are very good as was complementary breakfast. Room was postage stamp size with a stand up wardrobe & no dresser. Bathroom door handle came off in my hand. TV was the size of my computer screen (24"). All the beds are small doubles with 6" mattresses & no box spring. Not good if you're over 6' tall.

Room of a 4 star hotel booked by private sales. This hotel is located in a side street near the Pigalle square. Access to the Metro is a hundred metres away and the Moulin Rouge is about 300 metres away.
The reception is warm. The rooms are clean and have all the comforts. We even had the chance to be upgraded with Jacuzzi in the room.
This atypical hotel is definitely worth a look and because of its geographical location, it remains a good choice.
Only small flat, despite a double glazing, the neighborhood is a bit noisy to make a morning sleep.

Great hotel. Maybe I'm wrong, but very much like a house of tolerance. Everything is decorated very tastefully in the style of the 19th century PUC house. All in a theme, T. K. He is on the street of red light and sex shopping.

Employees at the height but local very poorly maintained… is not of the declared standing. Neglected by the management, it is a pity…

Too bad. In the country of the baguette and the Crescent C is a bit of the figure of serving for a breakfast at 3pm this kind of bread and pastries (go an effort) otherwise the staff is attentive it compensates!

4-Star Villa Royale is a great hotel.
Very thoughtful and accommodating staff.
Great location to get around, Metro right in front of the hotel, stop with two lines; A stone's throw from the picturesque Montmartre district and the Sacrè-Cœur.
Very busy day and night area (red light district) but absolutely not dangerous.
Personal opinion: Stay suitable for couples more than families or friends.

Great hotel that inspires some love room are equipped with Jacuzzi this hotel is expensive but nice.

Typical hotel for a Wk in love under the romantic Paris and the Belle Epoque.

Highly recommend this hotel. Opulent decor. Rich color. Short walk to Montmarte and Moulin Rouge. Paris destinations are only buses and metro away. Convenient. Lots of great restaurants and bakeries close by.

A very nice hotel to stay in. The location is fantastic. We loved being able to look out onto the busy street from our room, but be prepared for the noise and bring some earplugs. Fairly comfortable bed but maybe a little hard.

Well placed right next to the Metro Pigalle (the rooms overlook the place Pigalle). The Deco is funny, we would believe in Versailles! The bedding is comfortable and the bathroom large and with a bathtub (always in the style Versailles! ). The staff are friendly and helpful. Although the rooms overlook the place Pigalle it is quite well soundproof and we hear not much. I would recommend this hotel.

We only managed to stay two of the four nights that we were booked because my daughter awoke the second morning to find many bed bugs crawling on her pillows! I've stayed at many hotels, and this is my first encounter with bed bugs. It was horrifying enough that, despite the hotel offering to put her in another room, we immediately changed our travel plans and moved to another hotel. Who wants to move to another room in a place that clearly has bed bugs? My husband had commented from the moment that we arrived in our rooms (we had three rooms rented for five people) that the mattresses were old. They noticeably sag in the middle. I kind of dismissed that as charm for an old European hotel. It never occurred to me that there would be critters crawling in those old mattresses. After the bed bug discovery, someone from the hotel called my daughter to tell her that the bed bugs probably came from the Metro nearby (WHAT? ), and that she needed to boil all of her clothes to make sure that they weren't infested. Well, that wasn't exactly helpful since they weren't offering any assistance with her clothing. Nor did they offer to refund the room fee. They also did not offer to help pay for the cab we had to take to get to a new hotel. There was no compensation that they could have offered that would have covered the half day of sightseeing that we lost on our only full not-Christmas day in Paris.

Good hotel but suspecious district at night not suitable for eastern and muslem people.

Magical place that made us travel through time, from the entrance to the elevator, the hallways etc everything was very tasteful. The room with Jacuzzi is sublime. The view of the Sacred Heart is really appreciable, the staff very attentive and smiling. Thank you for your welcome.

Excellent! Beautiful Hotel in Florence!

Love the hospitality, decor, and ambiance. Hate the heat and street noise. We knew going in we were in a late night busy area which is fine but the noise cuts right through the windows when they are closed. Car honks galore and drunken screams every night, all night. Several sleepless nights as the noise does not lessen until 7am, it never stops. When it is cold out the only option to cool off is to crack the windows but you can't if you want sleep due to the noise. 3rd floor room made no difference, it sounded the same as walking on the street. Great location for the metro and bus stops as they are located across the street.

Very nice hotel in the Pigalle district. The rooms are very original pink red/gold furnished. Slightly tight for my terms. A lot of snosh snacks and also love to detail you can discover here. You hear absolutely nothing from other room neighbours, but the lively street in this entertainment district.
The breakfast buffet was very rich for €152 extra —.
Reception was always staffed and very friendly, polite and courteous.
Hotel is equipped with disabled entrance area and elevator.

Service from staff at the hotel ranged from good to outstanding. Most spoke okay to excellent English. Location was okay, but some rooms were noisy at night. Some rooms were small, but the information about the rooms on booking websites was accurate. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets and bakery's in the area. Very close to the red light district though, and some seedy characters around. Also close to train station.

Great place, great rooms, located very near moulin rouge, a lively location. The staff are very friendly and I loved my honeymoon stay with my wife in this hotel which has an old world charm to it.

Pro: right next to Pigalle Station, can to most places in Paris within 30 min via Metro or bus. Beautifully decorated room though feels a little old and tattered. Great big jacuzzi bathtub. Con: located in Pigalle so it could get noisy if you sleep with the windows open at night. Constant sewage smell, not very strong but its lingers. I do recommend the place if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel with great location. I personally might not repeat again but I did enjoy my stay a lot. You are right next to the metro station and surrounded by restaurants and bakeries, and the fun of Pigalle.

In a romantic hotel, with red walls and special offers for lovers, the bed was two single beds pushed together. When we ordered a romantic care package (massage oils and such), the receptionist gave us dirty looks and started discussing finance and payment options for so long, that we eventually just left. Other than that, a rather lovely hotel.

The staff is really nice, always smiling and very polite. The rooms are of decent size, and unfortunately look a bit in a state of slow decay. However the bed and pillows were so comfortable, I fell dead asleep and had an excellent night. Good breakfast (with warm and fresh scrambled eggs). Location is perfect, with the metro across the street, and all amenities around.

Atypical hotel, could be aged a little but still nice and well placed. Some visible damage but it's okay if you have a discount on your room! We were very well received, the staff is friendly, we had breakfast included in the price, pastries were not top but the all very correct however improvements rest of expect.! Our clean room unfortunately our bath/toilet room door was faltering a little lack of privacy to the needs! Damage but it's clean! The bed was comfortable we have missed anything in the room. We are moved by verylastroom we had a reasonable price for the visible "negative" points. We stayed overnight in the hotel. Decent hotel.

Fantastic 5 day stay, staff couldn't have been any more helpful and loved the vibrant Pigalle area. Shall definitely stay here again!

Great location. Staff were friendly and courteous, the atmosphere and décor you transported back in time. Truly outstanding!

Terrible. Avoid like the plague. Bathroom is very old and in bad condition. Pillows were dirty and had mildew. Wifi was poor. Worst of all is the hotel is above a bar which plays very loud music (2am and still going strong) — okay if you are in the bar but not if you want to actually sleep in your bed.

Hotel Villa Royale, built in a building in an arc, dominates the place Pigalle. Decorated in rococo style (red velvet, PomPoms, gold, marble), it changes you completely time and atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed not the night receptionist, who gave us a room equipped with a jacuzzi, with a double view of Place Pigalle and the sacred heart. The suite was very cozy (there is even a fireplace), the magnificent view and we slept like Kings.

Too expensive for what it offers. The carpet in the room is out of fashion and personally makes me think to dirt that accumulates. I wouldn't go back.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of Pigalle.

Good location, cool decoration but our room had a broken toilet closet seat, 3 out of 5 ceiling spotlights out-of-order and a cleaning lady who just decided to skip cleaning our room half of the stay (the upside of the latter being that it was too dark in the room to see any of the mess anyway). The front desk staff was sympathetic about our complaints, but didn't do anything about any of them. Instead, at check-out they produced a fake bill of unspecified tax surcharges and, very theatrically, tore up the bill in a "grand" style in front of us — as some sort of consolidation?! This looked very "rehearsed", and also, all surcharges and taxes had already been charged our credit card at the time of our booking! No, this hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel in any aspects other than pricing.
