We were horrified when they found a wound on which he was to be but then got used to it! Horrors were also in a room of type in the style of all the snouts and stinks, and the neighbors bedbugs run at night. But very cheap and clean to sleep normally, and even breakfast banana and croissant for free! The staff is nice, but once again I'll just say I'll just sleep that normal, but don't wash the towels don't wait)

Overall, it is a terrible place to stay. The behaviour of all french people is not customer friendly so don't excpect politeness from them. The hostel rooms don't have AC, its very difficult to stay there in dark and non-airy rooms. Moreover, people make noise all the time and it is impossible to sleep there.

Super dirty place. Cramped rooms. No ventilation. Rude staff. I asked the staff to put a fan inside my micro small room as it was too hot and had no ventilation, half of the window was openable to a bad ouside view and we were 4 people inside it. So I asked him to put a fan, he told me that this not a five Star hotel. Oh Come on, what a small fan will cost, 20euros of investment? Ok fine leave it, as the hostel was cheap at 22 euros with free banana and a small cake as breakfast. While leaving I asked the person to keep my phone for charging. He was very ride. He took phone and kept it just like that, withiut charging.

Very cool place. Staff are nice and rooms are spacey and very clean. Kitchen and luggage rooms available. Its a good location in relation to Paris but the street it's on is a bit dodgy. Quite a loud place. Really nice for the price you pay.

Unfortunately the hostel is very poorly equipped. The rooms are not comfortable, the beds are old and not comfortable. The neighborhood is dirty. In general, if there is no choice then you can spend the night like that.

Room smell like wet paint, filled with dust, broken heater and chair, few bathrooms and toilets compare to number of beds. I can smell weed on the corridor. Noisy at night since it next to the street. Enjoy your stay!

Very dirty room. Shower has cosied up to mold. The door lock was just hanging from a screw and wasn't really safe. Very noisy environment. Windows was not lockable. Towels were only available on demand at the front desk. Breakfast consisted of bananas and chocolate rolls from the supermarket. The street in front of the hostel is full of people, including some who sell drugs. Advantage is the direct location at the metro station Barbès-Rochechouart and walking distance to Gare du Nord and Gare de l 'est.

Very very dirty! Fleas in bed, disgusting bathroom! We should close this place!

I slept there for two nights. The first night was okay but I had to change rooms the second night and my gawd I didn't sleep because of the bedbugs. The staff was always helpful, friendly and always went an extra mile to help.

Bad smell nauseabonde refusal to refund has my arrival customers miserable just like the Cartier in which the hotel is located the worst HOSTEL of all bets unsecured for luggage also.

It is very close to the Metro and Montmartre, and the Gare du North station. If your plan is to know Paris and get there to sleep at night there is no mess without paying so much.

Really a horrible place. The plan was to stay 5 nights there but when we arrived we decided to leave instantly because it was extremely ugly.
More than anything it was the area that was appalling, there are men outside offering you drugs, and you are watching the women in a very ugly way.
I don't recommend it at all.
It's better to stay in some hotel near there for a few more euros.

SERIOUS WARNING! These guys are supporting criminals at the expense of their guests. My mobile and cash has been stealed from the room while I was sleeping… they were not acting properly in that situation, not calling police, nothing at all. After leaving, I wrote several emails regarding the possbile developments of this shameful case but never received proper reponse in the last one year! I should conclude that this hostel is hand in hand with ORGANIZED CRIMINALS of the area. Avoid them in any case!

The benefits of the place are the proximity to Metro 4 and Montmartre, but the attention is regular and the hotel sector is full of yunkies and dealers not suitable for families or people Q return late to the hostel, the Wi-Fi is poor and the rooms are not comfortable.

Caution!. CHECK FOR BED BUGS! Pros: they lock the door at night, friendly staff, nice vibrant decor, lounge and kitchen area Cons: checked but still got bit by bugs (entire party affected, hopefully didn't bring an infestation home…), rooms smell, don't bother with breakfast deal, dim room light, terrible Wi-Fi.

The hostel in pesimas conditions, they have 2 showers for more than 20 rooms and one plug only in rooms of 5 people, all the doors broken, they do not have towels nor to rent, the Wi-Fi works very badly, there is no breakfast and the area horrible.

I only stayed one night on the spot, so my opinion is more towards the specific area. One of the guys at the front desk was from Algeria and made good conversation. Another Latin because very normal and another I think Q of Iran or something like that very bad people, nothing to do. The site is on a block where there is a lot of sale I think drug and there are many men offering things. But if they walk about three or four blocks they find the whole area of bars and restaurants. The Mouiln Rouge and several clubs that I thought I liked. The cool thing about the hostel is that it is a few steps from the subway. As for the rooms the dirty bathrooms. It is not a place to stay more than 1 or 2 nights.

They refused my friend's booking because he does not have a credit card. I asked them to book with my name but they refused. They directed me to another hostel but it was closed. They ars very selective. I do not recommend it.

Breakfast is a green banana and a chocolate-beaten bun. The reception is a drink (the Venezuelan and the Algeriano). The area looks like the low flowers. But it's in front of the subway.

What a pleasure to discover as soon as we arrive an unsanitary room. Between the almost non-existent light, the traces on the mattresses and the disgusting shower, we had a great time. For four days we could not wash because of icy water, even a break. The common areas are filthy. The safety of the rooms is unsatisfactory since the staff allows you to enter your room once they think you are gone.
I strongly advise against it!

One star for location. Rest is a strict NO, Stinking room small enough to make your breathing harder, no proper lighting even inside the room, I had trouble finding the only electric socket in the room for 5 persons. Dirty & non functional toilets without washbasins, shady and dark place with full of smell of some chemical. The area around doesn't seem safe at night.

All very bad. The location looks like you were going to be killed in every place. The only excellent is the Venezuelan guy, a love of person and so I give three stars, just for him.

The hostel is really safe — everybody enters through the reception which is monitored by the stuff. From the esthetic point of view, it makes a good impression with colorful paintings everywhere. Young gentlemen running the hostel are cute, nice and absolutely helpful! :)

Rescue Solution after a concert that ended much later than expected, I was amazed at the unsanitaryness of this hostel!
Part of my room was flooded, I did not dare to shower (after a concert of great défoulade, imagine a little the thing…) Both the "bathroom" was dirty as possible. The tap water was also frozen.
For beds, minimal comfort, and do not expect to be able to sleep warm.
I was fortunate to have an empty room with my boyfriend, but these are actually 6 rooms, non-mixed since I was just left with my boyfriend.
In the morning, foul odor of pipes.
Haughty staff. Oh and, they don't take the card, cash payment only.
In short, emergency solution only!

Not top as friendly personal place except the boss who excused me from the Therme is a real witch…

This is a terrible hostel. Just believe it and never stay here.
The location of the hotel is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. On the street total a dump, and crossing the threshold of the hostel you immediately surrounded by Negroes, offering to buy a magic potion (call it so).
2. Rooms are terrible, in a room designed for 2 people, inhabit 4-very crowded. To the room 1 socket and TA in a deplorable condition, beds creak, and steps on the second level just VYLAMYVAJUTSJA.
3. Shower in the room, but use it is not hygienic, the ground floor has a better view and shower and toilet.
4. The toilet is shared, located on the floor in a similar condition as the shower in the room.
5. In addition to the beds in the room only one chair, things to lay nowhere, not to mention the closing lockers.

Very small room, in addition to having a small room with a shower that worked half and smelled of moisture. The contour sheets was not large enough to stay on the bed, so a move in the bed and it would go away. The shower outside the room also left to be desired. There was always ground water and beard hair (I hope) on the little shelf near the mirror.

One of the worst hostels I've ever been to. Rooms are tighter than narrow. 5 bed in a 2-bed room. There is nothing lockable for the luggage or valuables. Unflowed and very unsanitary cuisine and bathrooms. Breakfast consisted of a banana and a chocolate toad and msn had to pay for the coffee. I thought that would be a joke, but it was actually serious meant. I can only recommend everyone to spend a few more euros on a more pleasant hostel …
Ah and still worth noting, the hostel is in a place in Paris where when it's dark, you'd rather stop being.

This place was very dirty and poorly preserved. The toilets were in a very bad situation. Breakfast is not good and sulfur.

This is how a stay in Paris is spoiled, thanks to a place very dirty and without any hygiene. The place is infected with bed bugs. Impossible for me and my companion to stay to sleep on the spot, we see the bed bugs walking around the beds and walls.
We also met someone on the spot who had slept 2h in one of the rooms and when he woke up had more than 20 stings sure the whole body of bed bugs.
Even if I am offered to come back for free, no thanks I pass my turn and I do not understand how a place like this is still open.

A couple of nights can live here, but the area is extremely restless. The staff is friendly and helpful. Help, than can at objective modesty of institution.

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. My boyfriend and I have been travelling Europe for weeks now and every hostel we have stayed at, we have loved due to it's atmosphere and hospitality! We did not feel safe here or welcome at all and did not stay the whole night as we couldn't sleep due to noise and the BED BUGS! I have so many bites all over me. We ended up finding another hostel close to Paris Nord Station for the few hours of that night we had left. This hostel is situated in a dangerous area of Paris. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone.

The worst hostel I've ever stayed in. It is dirty, has fleas (I am full of mincers and a friend is worse to such a point that it has to go to the hospital), there is only one plug per room, common bathrooms without washbasin, the area seems very insecure. The only positive thing is the Venezuelan guy at the front desk, very friendly.

Don't stay here: it has bugs in the mattress, the bedrooms are terrible and smelling, the toilets are dirty and the location is not good. You can find places even cheaper and so much better.

Not the most upmarket part if town but good value for money and despite it being a fairly long walk, it is within walking distance of everything. Really close to Gare du Nord.

Good for surviving some days in Paris because the other hostels are expensive. Be cautious, bed bugs are waiting hidden in the mattresses.

Never stop here! It's not a hostel, it's a flophouse. It's a highly unpleasant place. The photos unfortunately do not pass this hell, so believe the word.

Bed bug, do not go! I stayed there for three nights. Not to mention the neighborhood is not that safe, no AC either fan in the room. The room is crowded and dirty, what's horrible is that there are bed bugs! I saw several bed bugs on the bed and then the bites showed up all over my body after my stay there. Really, don't go there, spend a bit more euro can save you from a lot of bullshits.

Fatal! Horrible! There were fleas in my bed! Disgusting! Nothing hygienic! The area is super dangerous! They tried to assault me! Lousy experience I would never recommend it! I have stayed in hotels with lower cost much better!

Unhealthy! One shower for 40 people that is never cleaned. There are bed bugs. I've been scratching for two days. The manager yells at 8:00 in the morning. There are a lot of noises until 2:00 in the morning. Frankly for a few euros more, we find much better. To avoid absolutely.

AWFUL PLACE! please don´t stay in there! the only thing that can be accepted is the attention of the staff. The rooms are tiny, the private bathroom is filled with musk, there is just one key for all the room occupants, and the most nasty point is that the beds are crowded with bedbugs! The guy at the counter told us that there will be a full refund and as soon as the owner was there, she told us that she won´t give us nothing back and to calm down or leave, so we just accepted a room change. We could not sleep due the noise of the subway. The included breakfast is just a coffee of a vending machine and a packed bread. Please, it´s not worth the risk.
