Very convenient to metro, walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and lots of restaurants and shops outside. Safe place to stay.

We have been 4 days in this hotel the room and bathroom are small but acceptable, they have television but only in French so if you do not know the language you will have to put up with, the reception lords hardly understand Spanish very badly on their part, that if they were friendly. Well there's leave my opinion I hope it serves something.

Very good position buses and metro only 200 meters excellent continental breakfast.

No free breakfast or Wi-Fi The Wi-Fi you have to pay 8 euro for one day or 15 euro for three days. We bought Wi-Fi but it was so slow it's almost unusable. Very rude to have the Wi-Fi like that. The rooms were nothing special. Paint falling off walls in bathroom and several cracks and wholes in places. Good location to Eiffel Tower.

Absolutely fantastic. A great priced hotel just a block away from the Eiffel tower. The room was clean, comfy bed and efficient A/C (not loud). Our room was facing a small courtyard but that was fine. Room had a spacious bathroom with a good shower and bath with jets although the jets needed cleaning. Small lift in hotel. I'd enquire with the hotel if they are wheelchair friendly as Im not sure with the size of the lift. Would definitely stay again.

Average Hotel. Very small rooms but still very cozy, with views of the Eiffel Tower. A few steps from the metro station.

The location and proximity to the Eiffel Tower made this a great pick especially for the price. The room was small but clean. Beware, there is a rule here that you can't bring in food or drinks from outside the hotel or you'll face a 150 Euro fine. This steep dramatic rule is why I can't give it 5 stars. It is conveniently located by a grocery store which would have made it easier to save money if we could have brought food and drinks into the room. One tip thought, go to the grocery store near the Metro number 8 line just a block away. Buy your breakfast pastries there and go sit at the Champ de Mar to eat and enjoy the view.

Very poor value for money. Completely run down hotel lacking lot of facilities which other modern hotels offer. Not even a 1 star hotel. The hotel really needs a lot of renovations throughout. The entrance lobby is very old and unappealing. The elevator is the tiniest elevator for 2 people used back in the 90s. The carpet throughout the hotel is extremely dirty and worn out, seems like it has never been changed. The room size was extremely small compared to the pictures shown. The bed was not comfortable and had bumps. The hotel really needs new furniture as well. Pillows had stain on them. Not comfortable to sleep in at all. The washroom is extremely small as well — just a little bigger than an air plane washroom. No Wi-Fi included with the rate. It's 2018, trains and malls are offering free Wi-Fi now. Breakfast is expensive so we preferred to eat out. I would not even pay 50 Euros to stay in this hotel next time. The reception staff didn't even offer to change rooms after the complaint. The soap and shampoo is the cheapest quality used. Please stay away from this property. The location of the hotel is great. 10min walking distance to the Eiffel tower and a 2min walk to the Ecole Militaire train station. The view from the window is great as well of the Eiffel tower. Lot of cafes and stores nearby. This hotel is ideal for location only.

The decor was mostly falling off the walls, the carpets, well… see for yourself. The shower was clean. The bedlinen on arrival other than both pillow cases were fresh. The aircon turns itself off after 1/2hr. No cooked food available for breakfast.

The rooms have enough for your stay. Most importantly: own bathroom.

Room was ok very small it was clean what you expect good location. Staff were ok could be bit more helpful but might of also been language barrier.

Nice hotel and staff.

The room, located on the sixth floor, is large and spacious, with a nice view of the city. Also the bathroom is big, it has both the bathtub and lax shower, quite modern furnishings, but the sink was clogged. The room was a little cold, the fixtures were not new. As a strategic place, very close to the Eiffel Tower and the Metro, but do not recommend it for those who have the buggy, the lift is too small, also to be able to enter the room we had to open 3 doors and the hallway was very narrow.

For the price it was okay. Those who expect great luxury, however, are wrong here. The reception area and lobby are very chic, the rooms in itself also very modern, but already very worn. The hallways leading to the rooms are full of stains and filth. The room was very clean and comfortable. Many of the neighbouring rooms were found, and windows were located in the inner courtyard of normal residential buildings, where loud music was continuously running.

Poor check in staff, Wi-Fi is slow and NOT free, dingy super small rooms in bad shape motel. And we had a great view of other folks in their bedroom — no Eiffel Tower. Total ripoff. The pictures are the breakfast room with mostly cereal, Tropicana oj machine (?!? In Europe? ) ; check in for stingy free breakfast; size of the elevator (good luck my American friends) ; size of the room; space between your bed and wall — yes, you will hear everything from your neighbor banging on those walls middle of the night.

The location is good but in fact it is a 2 star for our standards.

Nice room to refresh well located beautiful view on the Eiffel Tower on the sixth floor.

The rooms are very small and maintenance very nice although they are renovated.
We did not change the pillowcases or cases in a week, but the room is clean.
The heating is very high and it is very hot, closing the radiator drip and flooded the room.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
There is no Wi-Fi.
The hubicacion is close to the Eiffel tower and the Invalides, but at 45 min from Notre dame.
Breakfast is buffet cold of sausage, pastries, cereals and toasts, I think the best of the stay.
Overall not bad but it is better in many respects, I think it fails in quality price, although Paris is very expensive in the accommodation I expected something else for €180 night.

Great location. Eiffel tower view from the room! Rooms were small but cozy and comfortable. Our room had the Eiffel Tower view which was the best part of all. The location of this hotel is everything. Eiffel tower is just 10 minutes away. The staff people were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. This was one of the great budget hotels we ever came across. Highly recommended.!

Nice hotel bar area with a smell.

Excellent location for a comfortable move in Paris. The service a bit uncut. The person who greeted us did not speak Spanish but was very friendly. Instead people who spoke Spanish were somewhat negligent. In the face of the breakdown of the elevator they misunderstood the subject.

Me and my husband loved our stay at the Derby Eiffel Hotel even tho we had a room on the back but as soon as you stepped out the door you could see the Eiffel Tower, the hotel was very clean and the staff was brilliant couldn't fault anything really. It's in a great location to go sight seeing. Would definitely return!

Rude staff was told they dislike Americans. They also called my girlfriend and I cheap when we pointed out how expense the breakfast was. 14 euros for some bread, cold meat slices and yogurt. The prices for the breakfast was also not listed anywhere to be seen at the hotel. Also charged 1.65 euros per person per day, Costed another 50 euros just to check out. However I would have paid 5 times that to get out of this hell hole. The rooms are small and the elevator only fits three people. Had a great view which was nice.

My husband and I had a lovely long weekend here. Perfect spot for sightseeing! Comfortable rooms. Staff were amazing and even swapped our room so we had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our window.

Quiet hotel just steps from the Tower, metro, supermarket and pharmacy: location. Cozy and clean just missing the Italian TV and with a girl nearly two years some cartoons would help!

As a New Yorker with often incredibly high standards, I found this gem of a hotel and could NOT have been more pleased. It was spectacular in every way, the staff catered to our EVERY need and were so lovely and helpful. We had a beautiful room with a STUNNING balcony with a view of all of Paris including the Eiffel Tower. The prices at the hotel were unbelievably good, including the drinks and coffees. I would happily recommend this Derby and stay there again!

Stayed here for 5 nights with my boyfriend and the hotel has to be one of the most amazing places to stay ever! After reading some of the reviews people gave it made me abit apprehensive to stay here however some reviews were completely inaccurate. Our room had an incredible view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower which we were able to see it light up every night. The room was very clean and the towels were replenished everyday as well as the maids making our bed every day. The room was a perfect size not too big or too small and the interior was completely modern. The biggest advantage was the location of the hotel, only had use the metro one day out of the 6 days we were there. Everything was walking distance and there was plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets near by as well as being located two blocks away from the metro station! I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

This hotel is a pretty far walk from the Eiffel. The rooms are TINY. The room is the size of a queen sized bed — which leaves you about half a foot of room from the walls and the double bed. The elevator fits 3 people max. If you're staying for an extended period of time, I would not recommend this. No place to put your luggage and the TV is maybe 20".

This is a great hotel, and they have rooms with a view of the Eiffel Tower. It was beautiful to look out our window at night and see the tower's "light show. " The rooms and bathrooms were clean, neat and quiet. And the breakfast each morning was very good. Great coffee! I left my new jacket in the van that took us to the airport to return home. The hotel retrieved my jacket and mailed it to me in the USA. Thanks! If you want a nice hotel that's in walking distance (and I'm on crutches) from the tower, this is the place for you.

Super can every day go to the Eiffel tower.

We loved staying here. The hotel is very close to a metro stop, places to eat and shops. There was even American outlets in our room. Everything was clean and the breakfast in the morning was very good. We had a single room that was a little small but that is to be expected in France. We would recommend this hotel to others!
