They canceled my reservation absolutely due to covid and will not refund me not even a voucher knowing that their is a pandemic and borders are closed don’t ever talk bad about Americans look what your doing.

Didn’t expect much from this little place when we arrived. However that all changed when we encountered Michael. Never have we met such an amazing person in a hotel. Michael went well above and beyond our expectations to ensure not only our stay at the hotel was a pleasant one but also ensured our time in Paris was great as well! Michael has a wealth of knowledge of the area, local cuisine, museums and attractions. He even booked a restaurant for us! Fabulous experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this part of the city.

I love the cozy ambiance and location on the jazzy Rue du Bac! There is an older antique vibration hsppening in the cozy rooms with comfy beds, wall paper depicting scenes of French life in a by gone era. The modern bathrooms are updated and some are small as compared to US hotels. There is also a push to conserve energy via washing and replacing towels and sheets daily. They are environmentally conscious. I love the location on the Rue du Bac. The street is lovely with many cafes and trendy shops. The hotel staff sre friendly and helpful. They go out of their way with suggestions and directions. Hotel Saint Germain has all the good stuff! Perfect for Paris exploring.

Even for a French breakfast it was poor.

Love the location of this hotel. On Rue de Bac near so many specialty shops and bistros/restaurants! Breakfast at the hotel though minimal was just right and loved all the French fruit spreads with freshly baked croissants! The room we got though was a bit tight but clean and beds were comfortable. Would definitely want to return and try the junior suite next time!

I landed in this hotel by chance, when Paris was quite fully booked and the hotel was one of the few available that is still easily accessible from the city center. The surroundings of the hotel are attractive. There are many art galleries, restaurants and also nightlife. The hotel itself, was not quite my taste now. I thought it was pretty old (fashionable). On the positive side, however, I have to say that the bathroom was newly renovated and the breakfast for 12 euros was good and cheap for Parisian conditions.

The location was excellent, the room was very small Not bad.

A large quiet room, clean and comfortable for 125€ in Paris, with an adequate breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausages, pastries) included. An excellent choice even if the decor will not be to everyone's taste.

I think about our fantastic experience here every day. So quaint and in a perfect location nd at a great price. I can't say enough about the staff, they really made us feel welcome. So helpful and always available. The neighborhood is right out of a travel guide. Everything you would expect in a small town but in the middle of Paris! Great shopping and dining within steps of the front door. Minutes to all the major attractions. We can't wait to go back some day soon.

Very nice location and large enough space and very useful for business trip. But, I recommend not to chose 1st floor of the back yard, because cannot open the curtain… Anyway, I like It❣️

Excellent hotel for little honeymoon :)! Staff was friendly, spoke very good english and service fulfilled all our wishes. Our room was small but for us very romantic and cosy. Although our room was on the street side (in the second floor), we slept tight and very well because there wasn't any disturbing noises. The location was also superb, for example Louvre was only few hundred meters away. Near the hotel was bakery, little markets with wine and cheese and so on. The price/quality rate was very good.

Friendly and helpful staff, very small rooms and an even smaller lift. Location is very good, with easy access to the Louvre and the Metro, and walking distance to the Notre Dame and Latin Quarter.

This hotel is charming and wonderful, the staff are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Everything in the hotel is finished beautifully with a romantic classic French style and to a high standard. The Continental breakfast was delicious with the best croissants and Danish I've ever eaten, lovely bread butter, jams, a choice of two cereals, fresh juices and a selection of coffees and teas.
Only one tiny negative was the size of the en-suite toilet and shower facilities. I know that space is at a premium in Paris but honestly if you are over 6 feet tall or a larger framed person, using these essential facilities could be slightly problematic as they are very small. Both myself and my husband had incidents of dropping the shower gel bending to pick it up and in doing so jogged the shower control and got a nasty blast of extremely hot water! We are, I would say of average build, not thin but definitely not obese.
To finish, I would happily recommend this lovely, conveniently situated hotel, which is under 10 mins walk from Le Louvre to anyone, however I would urge that you check on booking that the size of the en-suite suits your needs.

You can't beat the location and the receptionist Dominique has a wealth of knowledge in the area and restaurants. A very charming and intimate hotel with a top notch service. I will go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful hotel and excellent customer service. We had a booking error that the manager was more than happy to help rectify. Someone did a fabulous job decorating the rooms. They are all different and have their own color scheme. The word "charm" doesn't do this place justice. Highly recommend! My only warning is that they do keep mouse traps in the bathroom, but as someone who lives in an old building herself, mice can be unavoidable regardless of how clean the place is. Also, we didn't have breakfast so I can't speak to that, but the dining area is adorable!

In 2012, we spent a magical week. Old building, rooms with the charm of times, try very gentle and close to the most chic of Paris.
What I chose to go to mass every day at the chapel of the miraculous medal, rue du Bac, and were fascinated.

I can only speak about this hotel. The rooms are clean, breakfast excellent and the staff very friendly and professional. The location is excellent for exploring Paris on foot; the atmosphere is typically Parisian district and there are fantastic shopping.
