The hotel is great. Location is perfect. Staff is mostly nice but many needs to work a little bit more on remembering faces, as it’s been 3 days we’re here and they always treat us like we’ve been here for a drink at the bar. Spa treatment are nice and pool is gorgeous. Breakfast is nice, and the bar too. Library worth a stroll. As for the rest, the renovation work is far from being finished and many things are annoying: construction work noise, workers rambling about the precinct of the hotel, unfinished work here and there that look very unprofessional: placards on the doors printed on a4 disgusting paper. It’s sloppy french style I guess… but coming from japan it is so substandard… And the wealthy old neighbors that come in and out out of curiosity without even being customers and want to chat with the staff that politely answer their silly questions instead of attending the real customers… There is so much potential, but reopening was probably too early…
