I booked 4 nights from 15 march to 19 march no refundable riservation.
Now because of Virus I can’t travel from Italy to Paris and I asked for refund my money because it
is an excetional situation and my missed travel is not up to me or my will. Onlly sense of duty in this dangerous and excetional situation
THEY DENIED TO REFUND ME.
I don’t give up. Call a lawyer.
Shame on them.

Very well some night in a family.

I made a reservation in November to come on December 26th and because of the strikes my train is cancelled, of course it's not my fault but the hotel doesn't refund! He says I'm not the only one in the case and he's not paying back! It's very dishonest you take people's money while it doesn't come! I don't recommend this dishonest hotel at all!

Small room and small clean bathroom. Feels the musty despite having the air conditioning all day. Staff welcoming.

Bed fleas and service deplorable.

Personnel sympathique. Chambre et literie correcte et propre mais salle de bain minuscule. Aucun espace pour poser ses affaires de toilettes. La douche déborde dans l'ensemble de la salle de bain. Le tarif (période chargée à Paris? ) m'a paru déconnecté du standing de l'hôtel.

Comfortable, quiet and clean hotel. Friendly staff, but breakfast too expensive.

Good but a little noise in the hotel, toilet area and w. C. Too cramped, non-waterproof window, service staff very well, room well made every day, breakfast very well. Too bad the front desk could not keep our suitcases from 10 to 2pm (lack of space? ) While the day before there was no problem to leave them. No instructions at Montparnasse station because they have been under construction for 8 months. So last day wasted, on the other hand if you need information about this station I am at your disposal because 4 hours in a station counts and it's long.

Nice apartment and decent service.

Well located, the rooms have been well renovated but the bathroom/toilet area is very narrow and gives signs of wear (missing mosaic tiles, pierced shower hose).
Special mention for the breakfast waitress who was caring.
Basically, good for 1/2 nights but I won't spend my holidays there.

Dark, dirty, tiny room; unconfortable small bed (kid size) ; no hot water in the shower (it is winter and outdoor there are less than 5 degrees! ) ; not all the receptionists speak English; unable to make amedments to change the room; … I don’t recommend it at all!

It was a really pleasant stay for an affordable price. In addition, staff was amazing. They are always open to help.

Very small bathroom with a dubious cleanliness, we hear our room neighbors by cons level Street no worries (good quality window) and breakfast worthy of a hospital. (obtained after asking 4 times in the room). In short, hotel booked by GroupOn so quality/price ratio acceptable (50% discount).

The hotel is very well placed, theatres, restaurants, shops, Metro, bus, everything is in the "corner"… on the other hand, the bathroom in room 22 is not practical… I will not pay €140 for this room… by GroupOn SA was.
Good breakfast, the lady who takes care of the room was a little overwhelmed and not aware who come to breakfast, for me the coffee… Infects…

The Hotel de la Gaîté has only the name, because the joy to deserted this place for a long time especially among its employees.
Greeted by a prison door, we were surprised to discover a room with a suffocating atmosphere and dubious cleanliness.
What is convenient with the bathroom is that we can shower while doing our needs, yes the bowl is almost in the Italian shower!
Fortunately to perfect the atmosphere and after a bad night of sleep we were freshly greeted for breakfast in a cellar relooked "fashion" to eat first price ham and Lidl pastries.
If you like the hotels of pass and enjoy the legendary friendliness of Parisians, you will be served!

Tested this hotel with a group offer. Fortunately, not worth more.
Strong Point: The location with ultra fast access to the Metro and train station.
Weak spot: Little isolated room, noisy at night (same course side)
Room small but especially bathroom! Difficult to turn between the toilet/shower/washbasin.
Proper cleanliness.
Staff at the reception not necessarily "welcoming" at first glance.
Breakfast: little choice but ok. The lady who handles it is top.

Excellent hotel. The price is acceptable. The location is ideal; the route CDG here in metro is super simple, two stations near Edgar Quinet and Montparnasse Bienveniu. Direct route to the Tower helpful. You can walk to Louvre. Many restaurants close by, best if you walk to Mabillon. They clean the room every day. They put towels. Bed is comfortable. With small work desk and TV.

Hotel well located 5 min from the gare Montparnasse. Area super nice. Nice renovated rooms, there is little and Own. Staff discreet and pleasant. My daughter and I keep a good memory of our passage in August 2015.

Under renovation! Still wants to operate but very inconvenient! The staff was not managed well, the elevator is under maintenance, and of course during the day they are constructing and hammering and all sorts of things that a CUSTOMER MUST NOT EXPERIENCE AT ALL! Better close your hotel first and continue your renovation, too bad some of your staff are nice, the manager. Or the one over seeing the renovation. Totally RUDE! Wtf! 8 am in the morning, the hammering starts again! Do yourself a favor. Dont ever book here.

I don't like the bed. It was small for 2 people.

BOF, is share the bathroom which was redone but very cramped, decoration of the room and the hotel rather past.
Sheets and blankets not 1st freshness, on the contrary. Greeted by the receptionist who ironed sheets and towels in the entry/small living room.
A mini fridge in the room but that does not work. Positive point: its location in the heart of the Montparnasse district.

Friendly hotel. Good value for money, especially since it is very well located.
Nice and the breakfast room looks like a germano-pratin Vault.

Located in a nice neighborhood and animated well deservi by metro. The room was properly heated, not very big but clean. The breakfast was OK for the price. Good value for money.
