Excellent hotel near Place de Clichy. Rooms are relatively spacious, showers are hot and abundant and AC is just right. Only downside is a very tall shower head…

Very clean and spacious rooms. The staff were also very friendly and accomodating. There is a grocery store and bakery right next to the hotel. Metro station is also very close. The price for the room was very reasonable for the location.

Very Friendly staff! But the smallest hotel-rooms of my life. Look at my 360 degrees pictures! We've got a bottle of cold water on checkin Some German TV channels, great It's possible to use the hotel kitchen. Coffee (nespresso) and tea for free around the clock, wow Free Wi-Fi Room Cleaning is excellent I recommend this hotel.

Well located near Place de Clichy is very well communicated with metro and bus. Small, and without breakfast, but very cozy and with very friendly staff. We have been a weekend and has been a good experience.

The hotel is very well located in a vibrant and lively area. The staff is friendly, helpful and caring. Everything is implemented so that one feels "like guests" thanks to the whole team and Bravo for the quality of the rooms. Next year. I wouldn't miss sending your details.

The second time there. No comments, very good facilities and location. The staff is very attentive.

1. Convenient transportation, next to the Metro station (within 5 minutes) 2. There are more than six supermarkets nearby, the nearest Auchan supermarket, which is cheap and 3 hours long. Restaurants, meals and chain of fast food restaurants are 4. Comfortable in the room, the price is not expensive 5. Cleaning supplies are not provided and only towels are provided for 6. At night did not imagine a dangerous area, but still can not be too lax 7. Counters at any time someone can consult or handle 8. There is free capsule coffee, capsule tea can drink 9. Kitchen (microwave, oven, hot kettle)

Unpretentious, basic rooms, a lot has been spent on updating this hotel with new furniture and a modern fire safety system. Full marks for the concierge, very nice guy.

A small hotel but cozy and clean. The staff are very friendly. It is quite close to Montmartre and next to Metro Pl Clichy. Recommended.

Perfect hotel for those staying on a budget. Enjoyed a nice 4 night stay with a basic room that has everything you need. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to public transport which makes it easy to get anywhere you need but also within reasonable walking distance from the main attractions of Paris. Hotel has a shared fridge/freezer and oven for those who don't fancy eating out too which is useful.

Very clean, renovated and well located 2 steps from the place de Clichy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even if the hotel does not serve breakfast the coffee and tea are made available to you graciously, all you have to do is cross the street and pick up the complement to the bakery at 20 meters. Everything is done to have a great time. This hotel is far beyond some of the 3 Parisian stars. Thank you again. An address to remember.

Brilliant find for accommodation in Paris. Rooms are comfy and very clean. Staff very friendly. There is even a small kitchen that guests can use and a dining room with free nespresso and tea. How many other hotels offer that? In terms of location metro station 5min walk (if that). This is a locals area so plenty of restaurants reasonably priced. Laundromats, cinemas and shops are everywhere. For a balanced review the only negatives are. The building life can be loud. Not concert loud but you can hear when people are talking as they walk past your room etc. Beds are firm which I loved but others in my family didnt.

Very clean and minimal furnished rooms, just what you need from a hotel. The beds are extremely comfortable and the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Close to Metro station. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

The Hotel Darcet is an excellent choice when looking for: comfort, economy and good location. This hotel is very nice, clean, and the people who cater to it are very friendly, their geographical location is ideal to be away from the noise pollution, it is close to supermarkets and shops, besides it is a few blocks from a subway station… no doubt I'm staying at the Darcet Hotel again.

Good location, three minutes to the metropolitan station. Not great neighborhood but okay. Very good Wi-Fi signal and speed. 24h reception with helpful and friendly staff. Coffee and tea machine in the reception. Small rooms without good views. My room window was open to a small balcony related to other people. I couldn't keep it open because someone smokes there. No parking. Very small elevator. Poor housekeeping and they don't change bedsheets even if they are dirty.

We received excellent, attentive service during our two-night stay at Hotel Darcet. The location is just two blocks from a Metro stop and was easy for us to find. Our room, number one, had a comfortable double bed and there is access to a small kitchen. Only complaint: there were only two outlets in the room and neither was particularly accessible. However, that's certainly a minor thing! We would stay there again.

It has 2 stars but I would give it 3.
The service is excellent. In the morning you are invited to a coffee with a Nesspreso machine, you can go to the shop opposite to buy a croissant and eat sipping a coffee in the hotel room where you make the coffee (as at home) very cozy, completely refurbished and all new, cleanliness very well too. For all that I would give 3 stars instead of the 2 you have. Very very comfortable.

The cleanliness of the room is not the best, after you use the sachets of shampoo the first day have not been replaced, luckily I had with me my. Nothing a hairdryer, as described. The bathroom had nothing to do with the photo, not even a 1, 5x1, 5. I don't know if it was in renovation, but the room was different from photos, with wires and bulbs without plafonierie. Good is that the hotel is two steps from the metro station and very close to a supermarket which is open from 8 to 23.50, from which you can get at least the water (seen that around the bottles of Evian 0.5 l pay, on average, 2€). Council breakfast extra for 5€. It is not buffet, but they serve croissant, juice, baguette with jam and butter, and chocolate/coffee/milk/tea of your choice. Apart from the owner is a bit of a gruff and grumpy (and even though I had already paid for breakfast, I had to pay you back in the hotel) the rest of the staff is very courteous. I toured several hotels of all types, and honestly I don't know if I would stay in this.

I went 10 Years ago! The people are very friendly. The hotel is small but cozy. The elevator is incredibly chicooo jajaa. The memories of my nights in Paris, in Monmartre are wonderful. Many Thanks to all the staff. Je Aime Paris!

This is a very good hotel. We have been there for 3 days and we had a very good time. Very clean rooms and towels. It is 3 corners from the metro station and there are many restaurants and coffee shops around.

By Paris standards, this room is great. The bathroom too, everything very clean, stylish and staff was very enthusiastic, fluent in English, to atone for my French, to walk, to go to a local bakery and restaurant, near Monterrey, Mali and the subway, free coffee and tea, and the small Elevator, laughing, annoying, look at your choices.

Paris hotel is not cheap. The size of this room, this price is not cheap, but you can a fair price can reach the best deal. Room small, but very comfortable. Water hot, water pressure is also good. Wi-Fi signal most of the time everything is fine.

A small but tidy hotel in a classic, old Parisian building. The elevator is tiny so be prepared to climb stairs.

Loved this place! we weren't expecting much at first because of the two star rating but when we got there, we were blown away by how beautiful the rooms were and how well staff treated us. There was a kitchen and a large eating area which made it great to simply purchase a ton of fine — and very inexpensive — French foods at the market across the street and prepare large feasts for ourselves. We spent two full months traveling through Europe this summer and this was by far one of the highlights in terms of accommodation. I definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Paris. The metro is a few minutes away and will lead you to ever you need to go in no time.

I was there in mid-June 2014 with my family, wife and daughter of 9 years.
The hotel is in a great location, 2 minutes walk to metro (maybe even less).
Completely remodeled, with new and comfortable furniture. The bathroom has a shower really big. Very clean and towels changed every day. The staff were so helpful and kind. Also the entrance the nespresso coffee, which you can use for free, and for us Italians is not cheap. Free Wi-Fi worked well. To be a 2 stars say it is great.

Hotel to avoid: a canceled room paid in full then even 94% of the rooms are rented for the same period (d-7). No understanding, and, the room will be probably rented twice.

Great place for the money!. I understand the hotel has undergone a renovation in the past (2013) year of photos presented are outdated. So very strong 2 stars: clean, neat, of course closely, but! even the Cabinet is) ) modest interior (IKEA-style), all fresh, not "sanganee". Pleasant staff. Power gone, but next reception room where you can enjoy a coffee/tea for free, and eat their own bread rolls/butery) ).

Learn to be selective with the comments is the first step to choosing a good hotel. And for my third time in Paris, this was again helpful.
Trip made in the last week of November.
The hotel is in an excellent location, small cross of Bd des Batignolles. A 2 min walk to metro Place de Clichy in a neighborhood that has even more of the indispesabile. Supermarket open until late in the evening (I think the 23), a pharmacy with night, restaurants and eateries, bars and cafeterias, McDonalds and the like and the longed for Starbucks right in front of the metro, real lifeline for coffee addicts and useful as a place to have breakfast before you get in the way. A few hundred meters away is also the infamous Moulin Rouge.
The hotel, for a two star hotel, offers more than offer many three stars of my acquaintance. Recently renovated. Quiet rooms, very bright and clean. Tv in the room, electric shutters and the rigorous daily cleaning. Coffee machine with nespresso pods offered free of charge for our guests in the small lobby. Staff so good and kind, helpful.
Highly recommended to all who are accustomed to the standard Parisian (no bidet, small elevator, rooms that are not apartments but places to rest from the labors of the day)
I am sure I will stay again in this hotel.

In travel Agency I wrote the following: dear ladies and gentlemen, I need about Hotel Darcet Paris in the strongest terms to complain. This is the worst Hotel I've ever experienced. 1. The Hotel is in a catastrophic condition. Lid and walls are covered with Klebebänden glued together. All (! ) The scope of the Zwischentüren in the stairwell are torn and not repaired. 2. The first night we had in another Hotel, because the Hotel supposedly was full. 3. I can't get a proper receipt or settlement, and on my Protest is only a handwritten piece of paper with a Stepel. In it is the amount that I sent to you prepaid may not have been included. 4. The food for the Breakfast, you may not itself choose. Only a Croissant and a bun. We got no more, despite our request, and were thus not satisfied. 5. The staff, the Breakfast was absolutely unfriendly. You answer our polite question not and looked at us very angry, but we have nothing remarkable to have done. The children were not even loud. So a belittling way, we know nowhere. With kind Regards.

The hotel was under maintenance, but the stuff not informed about it, so we are disappointed.

Having just returned from a 7 night stay at this hotel I can recommend the double room number 42, although this was on the fourth floor and at the front of the hotel, the room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and continential breakfast excellent. The hotel is situated in a very busy area so I would recommend taking ear plugs. In easy reach of the metro, another tip would be to buy a Paris visit travel ticket and hop on and off the metro to see all the sites!

This hotel was a bad experience. First we got send to another hotel, because it was booked out (even though it wasn't). Furthermore, the personal is totaly unfriendly and a piece of shit! I would never ever book anymore this hotel.
