Costumer service was good, other then that no one offers not even a glass of water. Bathroom was dirty from previous costumers.

Good place, the location is good. Breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable spacious unlike other similar options. All would be well, but a rude young lady at the front desk. She asked for money for a tourist fee, with a special passion. What caused discontent. For the number 20 q roughly. Asking.

For 1 night because my resa of the hotel next door had not been valid! correct really just no air conditioning and no baggage handler, very pleasant staff, demamdez the rooms side street.

Small but quite nice. No air conditioning in the room other vice pleasant place. Polite and nice service.

Very expensive hotel. For 300 euros a night you would expect a room with Air conditioning and mini fridge. Very bad experience. The usual tiny old rooms of Paris! Not having AC and only getting fans is unacceptable. Staff was friendly and helped us with the fridge situation by storing stuff we had bought in hotel fridge.

Great service, very communicative and an excellent location for the price. Will book again when I'm next in Paris!

The location is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rest of the cons-very small rooms, old, tiny closet, where the things will not fit even one person (the closet I served my suitcase and windowsill), not all the sockets work, the hair dryer itself begins to resing (what), the handles on the doors flimsy and Fall, lamps do not work all, even when changed bulbs, the blind in the bathroom is dirty, there is nowhere to put shampoo, etc. Breakfast costs 10 euros, with a cappuccino or latte do not, it is easier for the same money to go for breakfast in a café around the corner. There is no smoking area, even there are no ashtrays in the street. At night on Friday and Saturday very noisy, it is impossible to sleep, closed windows do not save, on the next street very loudly rowdy (honking and yelling) at 4, 5, 6 in the morning.

The hotel only positive points is the location, however the breakfast is not good (only croissant with butter, cheese and jam), the rooms has no air Condition, the elevator is very very small, I have bad experience with the hotel since they have sent a confirmation in writhing and 1 day before my trip they have simply changed whatever the have mentioned, The only positive point about the hotel is the location, and the following could be improved, — Breakfast. — Room cleaning. — Housekeeping service. Negative points: — Very Small elevator. — Small rooms. — No AC.

Well positioned hotel. Mins walk from Arc de Triumph. Room was clean and functional. Wi-Fi great.

Very clean, if somewhat older looking rooms in a picturesque building. The staff is just the BEST! No air conditioning, but it was cool the first of April, and it wasn't necessary.

Great location, friendly people, and a little history.

The room is old world quaint with high ceilings, large old fashioned windows facing the courtyard. The breakfast was wonderful! Omelets, croissants, and coffee every morning. The staff is friendly, helpful and just plain nice. I prefer this to a large modern characterless hotel any day. I would definitely stay here again!

I love the hotel d'Angleterre due to its magnificent location, right for that delicious distressed atmosphere, for the staff, for the small inner garden where one can read or have breakfast, for the elegant breakfast room. Where else you need for breakfast is placed over a grand piano? You maybe the bathrooms could do with a freshen up but go to sleep one night in room 14 and you will forget about everything.

Formerly known as Hôtel Jacob et d'Angleterre, room number 14 was where Hemingway stayed with his wife Hadley and his son "Bumby" on their first night together in Paris.

From the moment we stepped into the foyer of Hotel D'Angleterre, we were greeted with warmth and courtesy. The hotel itself it perfectly situated in Saint Germain des Pres on the left bank, a five minute's walk from the Seine, the Latin Quarter and the Musee D'Orsay. The Louvre, Musee l'Orangerie and Notre Dame are only a ten to fifteen minute walk away, and plenty of incredible Parisian establishments are within only a few minutes walk (Les Deux Magots, Brasserie Lipp, Chez Papa). We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in Ernest Hemingway's room that he shared with his first wife, Hadley, when they initially moved to Paris in December 1921. The room is beautifully preserved and was very comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely breakfast room across from the reception desk, and in the evenings we sat in the lovely interior garden and sipped champagne drinks expertly prepared for us by the hotel's staff. We've both been to Paris before, but from now on, we will be staying here at Hotel D'Angleterre!
