Very cozy and comfortable place because located a few meters from Gare Du Nord Central Station. It was a very nice room.

Great deal. Small but clean and really easy to get to from Gare du Nord. There was even a North American outlet in the hair dryer fixture that allowed us to charge our phones. I would come again.

Good value, but weird and pretty low standard. Expected to sleep in bed cover, no quilt. Also we had to leave the key everytime we went out.

The hotel was 'fine'. No big highs nor big lows. The room was clean but the bathroom very small. The service was arguable because they couldn't speak proper English. The reception is said to be 24h open on internet but it was not on Saturday night. Bad experience.

Reception is horribly rude. He called me prostitute and locked me in the hotel so I can't go out at night. I asked him to call the police because I was very unhappy, he acted like he is calling the police and actually didn't call. So I tried to make a call, but he hold my wrist so hard it is still soring. That happened from 2 am to 3 am in the morning, hotel gate was locked I couldn't go out, I can't make a call because I don't have european number. I bought Wi-Fi for 10 euros but he even cut the Wi-Fi connection so I couldn't use. So I asked him not to do it he pretended that he didn't do, and then reconnected again and I saw him doing it and then Wi-Fi worked again. What he did to me was totally ridiculous and he ruined my last night in europe. He is 65years old, short, wearing round glasses. I wanted to sue him but I couldn't because I have to take the plane the next day.

Hotel looks very run down on the outside but rooms are quite modern and very spacious. Very happy with they stay hotel room was clean and the room had a balcony and big windows. Overall very happy with the experience.

The worst, rudest, and meanest service provided at their help desk. If you like crap service, go here!

Room ok. Nice large bathroom. The rest of the hotel is old and quite dirty. Good price. Excellent position for metro and RER. Friendly (quite old) staff.

The place is old, run down, and infested with bed bugs. The sheets were filthy and I found eggs and nymphs on the inside of them. There were so many bugs that they were literally falling out of the vents. There was dust seemingly swept under the beds. Somebody brought a prostitute into the room next to us. The cleaning lady walked in to clean while we were there without asking if it was okay. You're in Paris, just shell out the extra dough for a better place.

It's a very good place for youths to spend few days of traveling through Paris. Always reserve the rooms with toilet (rooms for 3 to 5 persons) at winter "watch your face if you close the door to use the toilet" :D. No single rooms but the double is good but you had to travel through the five levels if you want to us the bathroom or the toilet. The coffee machine is great but always remember to keep your change. The receptionists are kind, can help you to find directions and some of them can speaks and understand French, English, Arabic and maybe else.

Nice place, cheap (compared to others) best price are for rooms for 4-5 persons. By the way it is not a luxury hotel, it is just what you need to visit paris, otherwise you have to pay at least double price for a luxury hotel. (Best quality / price).

Cheap, excellent hotel. However the rating is 1-star, the hotel is totally worthy! we just wanted to stay somewhere at night, so we don´t expected 5**** hotel, in that case we would look for something else. So we recommend to all who want to stay near Gare du Nord (after arriving from CDG airport) and spent less money.

Make no mistake about it: This is not a good hotel. The TV remote was not working, the bathroom mat had hole in it, the shower was rusty. HOWEVER, considering the excellent location and very reasonable price, I'd definitely recommend it as a "place to sleep". In fact, the room was surprisingly spacious.

The pictures made the hotel look decent, but once my boyfriend and I got there, from the moment we walked into the lobby, I knew it was bad news just from the way it looked. This is NOT a hotel you want to take your girlfriend, wife or family to. Check in was at 12pm, but the room wasn't ready until 1 pm. The door numbers are written in CRAYON! The hotel room we had was horrible. It smelled like cigarettes, the bathroom door didn't close all the way, there was a wire sticking out of the wall, one of the towels had a hole in it, one of the chairs also had a hole in it, the shower head didn't have a holder, the TV had no remote or volume buttons on the tv, and the worst part was, there was NO toilet paper. The location was pretty good though, close to the Gare de L'Est train station. There is a sign on the outside of the hotel itself, and for 2010, it had a 1 star. Be aware if you book this hotel. Its fine for a 1 night stay, but any longer, I'd say stay away.
