Hi, my name is Wing. I was staying in Adagio Access Paris Reuilly from 20th January 2017 until 25th January 2017 with my friend Ms. Lam Ka Mei. On the second day which is 21st January 2017 night around 10 pm, when we came back to the room we found out our luggage was cut by someone and our personal belongings — all CASH was disappeared. We do contact the reception immediately but they give no response on that night. On the 22nd January 2017 morning, we went to reception directly, but the receptionist still kept that attitude, like this is not my business, I don't know why you will be stolen inside the hotel and the lady in the front office keep saying is weird, I known is weird but can you give me a right response expect this sentence. Afterward, we went to the police station by ourselves and made the record. After I contact the hotel manager and shown him the police record, he made a copy of the record and just sent me an email to apologize and said they had forward my case to the insurance company. In addition, they didn't offer me anything like changing the hotel if I am not asking. But I didn't change my room due to all evident to protect myself is inside the room. But until we check-out, the hotel manager didn't check our room and he promises me to show me the record of the room key system, but he didn't. I am still waiting for the record.
Until now — 23rd February 2017, the insurance company just sent me an email and told me that Adagio Access Paris Reuilly Aparthotel is not considered as a hotel so the lost properties can not be claimed back because of the France policy. I just want to ask if I am staying in the hotel and got stolen, how would you deal with it?
This is the birthday trip of my friend, I'm sure this is an unforgettable trip ever in our life. Even you can give us any solution.
