Air conditioning doesn’t work and the hotel could careless. It’s terrible to pay €500+ for a room and have the room hotter than outside.

It has one of the best Executive Lounges of any hotel I have stayed at and I have lifetime Titanium status with Marriott. The location makes it easy to get to and from CDG on a non stop RoissyBus. The Louvre and Sacre Couer are an easy walks and public transportation is easily accessible. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area.

Yes, esp. If visiting Paris for the first time, as it is with my husband and me. Being a Titanium Elite member, got a room upgrade with executive lounge access. Kind and courteous staff from checking in, to concierge services availability, to handling our luggages, room service, to the executive lounge staff and with plenty of choices for finger food, salad and cheeses, drinks. They speak English and I / we try to speak few French words. Thank you Marriott!

The hotel is nice and spacious but be careful with your valuables and personal belongings. Money was stolen. I had them check cctv but the usual answer.

I regret to say that the music was far too loud, so that it was impossible to communicate with other InterNations members. The music was very heavy and very repetitive! Why don’t you do dancing evenings with rock’and’ roll or with Vienese walzes by Strauss! Your evenings would be more stylish…

Stayed there for 5 night and the air con was totally out of order. Asked the hotel staff and they said they had no idea when it could be fixed.

I am extremely happy with my stay with this hotel. You can tell that the building has a lot of history and they have updated the rooms to offer all of the comforts we expect. The staff and concierge are very friendly and helpful. It was my first time visiting Paris and they gave me some insight on where to eat and what to visit. The rooms have been more recently upgraded and very clean. My a/c worked very well in the +30 C temperatures we were experiencing. The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to a couple of underground stations giving you access to wherever you want to go. It is also a nice walk to the Louvre and river Seine. From the higher floors you have a nice view of the Eiffel Tower. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are thinking about traveling to Paris.

Nice place for a night or two in Paris. Close to restaurants and the Metro. Nice view from the Executive Lounge. Room was comfortable with good climate control (a big plus in the summer).

Good food. Hotel restaurant so very quiet. A very professional welcome. The service is a little slow. The place remains pretty. Price correct considering the price and the type of cuisine less than 100 for two between dessert cocktail dish.

The hotel is very old and not well maintained. We were given a room with no air conditioning. When we went to the desk we were told there was nothing wrong with the air conditioner and we were offered a fan! I said I wanted to see a manager and we were then offered a different room. Later we found out that we were in a very outdated room. Closets smelled awful! Definitely would not recommend.

This is a great property that has been around for a really long time. They really did a good job keeping the original feel to the building and the rooms were well appointed. The rooms that have an Eiffel tower view have wood floors and are very nice as well. The lounge is a nice space in the roof area and worth a visit while at the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Several rooms on the ground floor but it is always too hot in the back room where we had arranged an evening. For a hotel of this level it offers an air conditioning… On the other hand the hall with all this white marble gives an impression of coldness. To change.

I don't often rate hotels as soon as I arrive, I usually wait until later on or after the stay, but if you're considering staying here, my advice would be to look somewhere else. OK, so it's been 30°C+ in Paris today and I was looking for a refreshing, air conditioned room, but instead I have a feeble hole in the wall pushing out lukewarm air and a noisy pedestal fan which isn't what I would call air conditioning. This is the second room they gave me. The first looked out onto some grotty rooftop and the AC in that room was even worse. The AV interface for plugging in a PC is dangling from the wall and the overall look of the decor is more shabby than chic. My company is paying €280 for this room and I will suggest they get their money back. Alright, it's been a long time since I stayed in Paris so maybe this is all €280 gets you, in which case, don't come to Paris, go to Budapest or Prague or Vienna-you'll get somewhere decent to stay for less money!

Ideal for business appointments or a table in their restaurant on the 16th. There is also a mezzanine accessible by a door a little hidden, to see without being seen or work on a top secret project. Very good if you want to make a meeting between colleague. Capacity: I would say 10 people seated.

Friendly staff and great location. However we our shower head was broken causing water to spit out onto the toilet area and onto the walls and ceiling. This made it very slippery and dangerous when using the bathroom after the shower had been used. We have now complained about this twice and still nothing has been done about it.

Staying for here three nights and am currently on my second night. The first night, they didn't realize that I was a Gold Marriott Rewards member but rectified it by giving me a room upgrade the next night. Customer service has been excellent so far. There's a view of the top half of the Eiffel Tower from the 8th floor Club Lounge, and the rooms are very nice too with a mini fridge and clean beds. We did not rent a car here so I can't speak for how much it would have cost. So far the weather has been fair, so I can't say much about the temperature of the rooms in hot weather either. Overall, I would stay here again.

Superb location, classy design. Would be even better if there was a pool/sauna, but this is rare even in luxury hotels in this area, so it's a fair trade-off. High calibre of service and comfort. Three elevators, so you don't have to wait. The staff give you a hand with whatever questions you have, with a smile, in French or English.

For my husband and I, one is platinum and another is a Platinum for Life member, this is the worst Marriott hotel we have ever stayed. The breakfast was bad. Croissant was worse then frozen food in the US. After running the Paris marathon, we requested to clean the shower, no one showed up. We asked the hotel manager, no response. Next day, we asked again at the front desk, the on duty manager was very impatient about our inquiring, said he will find out “his side of the story “ and get back to us and disappeared before we finish our conversation. How rude. I wonder how they can stay as a 4 star hotel. We will never come back again.

I don’t know where to start. Terrible customer service. Pompous concierge. They definitely have a problem in the kitchen because the fire alarm goes off almost every day. You don’t know if it’s for real or faLee, so you jump out of bed and get dressed, start walking down the hall to find out it’s false and it’s a kitchen fire again. The maids put the heater on 30 Celsius one day but the hotel will not turn the AC on until when they deem appropriate. So you try to open the windows, but you can only open them about 1 inch because they are chained preventing one from jumping (Their words). The breakfast is the same thing over and over every day… Running scrambled eggs, burnt bacon, mushrooms and croissants. Coffee machine works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. Rooms are very small as is typical in any Parisian hotel but why pay $400 a night when you can find better accommodations anywhere in Paris We have stayed in Marriotts all of the world and I think this is an exception and it must be due to hotel management. Or it’s Paris! You find some Parisians very friendly and some very rude.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris. The staff is warm and professional, the rooms are comfortable and rather larger than others we've stayed at here in the city. Some might see some wear and tear and consider this hotel run down but we see it has a typical European charm that reminds you that you are in a very old and romantic city where emphasis is on living life and not worry about the wrinkles of time.

Sublime! If you want to spend a good evening in love or with friends I recommend the bar lunch of the hotel. Warm and courteous welcome it feels very fast at ease. Quick Service Interesting card and very decent price. I'd recommend it a thousand times.

If there is a negative star, I will definitely add it. Shocking service. Didn’t even have the chance to stay at this worst customer service hotel, we were treated badly. Their staff couldn’t handle stress when incident happens. We were yelled at in front of other guests at the lobby and told to leave by ordering us “GO NOW! ”. It was almost 12am. Stared and rolled his and her eyes. Unbelievable, this is the attitude of Marriott staff. They should send staff for counseling and therapy to learn Customer Service and handling stress.
Worst hotel experience in my life. Don’t ruin your holiday by staying in this hotel. They have staff acted like gangsters. It can be intimidating. If you don’t follow what they tell you to do, your stay might be in danger.

Very not OK one of the restaurants paid three rooms and two nights for no show, so I told them in advance that two of them would arrive in the morning of the first two days, but only one when they arrived, and the other room was sold! Counter manager Ms. Justine Bad arrogance to the extreme, from beginning to end without an apology, also not a night's room rate; In addition, check in incredibly still wait until 6 o'clock from 3 o'clock in the afternoon to wait until the room finally. Rooms are attractive and surprisingly spacious for Paris. Walls are thin and hallways can be noisy. Courtyard rooms are likely quieter than “city view” facing the boulevard. Average breakfast spread. Nice free happy hour in the lounge. Staff is friendly.

Great hotel in central Paris. We walked to all the major spots without issue from this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean just like comparable hotels from Marriott in the US. Concierge lounge food was good and nice hotel gym in basement.

Ate at the restaurant in the lobby and food was good. The setup is simple and staff is efficient. The options are limited for the scale of the restaurant but "daily special" makes the menu complete. Starters had a great taste and presentation. Main course you had decent options to choose from. Overall a good experience and we went as a group (in case you are planning a small team lunch or dinner). The food came with a lag so advised to have sometime with you if you visiting the restaurant. Overall a good experience and good place for dinner or lunch. Recommended!

Classic hotel with big corridors and rooms, the lobby and bar a bit impersonal compared with other Paris hotels. Breakfast is poor, beds and shower are great. Very conveniently located, would stay again.

I don't think it's a good hotel as for that price. The rooms are very small and that we got a deluxe, the closet has no doors, the bathroom is incomfortable, what they call Garden view is to the rooms opposite. They do not have business center, print the unsavory was an adventure and the taxi driver who recommended the concierge charged us double for going to the airport.

The place to stay while in Paris. Excellent location next to the big stores and Metro stations also to the main attractions like the Opera and place de la Concorde. Very good breakfast restaurant but a little bit crowded at peak time. Staff could be more professional regarding their advice. Rooms are good size, quiet and clean.

The service is under all SOW. Coffee and cakes come separately after 10 minutes where the coffee is already cold for 2 people then also 50 euro to demand absolute impudence never again.

Just recently became a Marriott property. The quality is good but they are still working on updating the hotel to Marriott standards. Skip the restaurant, go to the bar, or one of the many cafes outside.

I stayed here in 1973 as a young, adventurous American my first trip outside America. There have since been many. But I remembered this place as an elegant, old world grand place. The bathtub had legs. And of course that cute Cherie ;)

An extraordinary place. Unfortunately I went there for a simple professional appointment but I dream of returning. The staff are smiling and extremely professional.

Good restaurant and nice setting. Meal served by a lovely waiter. Reservation made on the fork and 66, €50 instead of 123, €5 thanks to the 50% discount for two entries, two plates and two desserts.

Nice room, good location but very slow to response a complaint. (31/3/17 around 10pm) The electric kettle was not working I asked for a new one and somebody at the room service said will send it in 10 minutes, I waited until I fell asleep. The next morning I called the room service again and they sent a new kettle but once I plugged in the electric kettle all the sudden the electric in my room is down. I called and asked for help and somebody told me she will send someone in 10 minutes I waited so long more than 30 minutes, so I decided to have a breakfast first at the executive lounge when I back to my room it's still dark then I went to the front desk and filed another complaint and finally the electric guy came and fixed it and another new kettle was sent to me! My room was 504 under SS my hubby name. Thank you.

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Paris. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. Only downside the room housekeeping could be better made dust, hair in the bathtub, there was cushion burned on the balcony. We spent two nights in the upper room.

I've always wanted to stay at the Opera Ambassador from the first time I saw it in 2007. So when I found out my next. Business trip was taking me to Paris I quickly checked the rates and booked a room for two nights. I've been a loyal customer to Marriott and it's affiliates for several years now and hold a Platinum Elite membership! It's a great thing and I recommend the Marriott Rewards program to anyone who regularly travels. So the perks ensued at the Opera Ambassador! Upgraded to an executive suite with a great view of the Eiffel Tower, bottle of champagne with Belgium chocolate ice cream, free Wi-Fi, breakfast for two, and access to the executive lounge! The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly. I also liked that you didn't have to swipe your room card in the elevator. The executive Lounge in small but provides adequate treats and is open from 6am to midnight. They also serve breakfast there but the variety is better in the main dining area on the ground floor. This is the third Marriott I have stayed at in Paris and I have to say it was my favorite of the three!

Stayed here for 2 nights my first time in Paris. While the rooms are small, the view is unbeatable and the balcony outside the room is adorable. Hotel staff really excellent-from check in to check out. Location is very central. Some Metro stations in the vicinity, and Roissybus, have direct access to Charles de Gaulle Airport Express train. Very close to the main department store in Paris. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean, in a separate "room", the hotel seems to be very elegant in a while, but now no longer used. Entity structure does not appear to be standard for Marriott.

This is a very nice and simple hotel. Rooms are clean and compact, but not too small. Wi-Fi reception is bad, you have to log in again in order to have a signal. Breakfast was very tasty, but not cheap, buffet for $ 29. If your budget is tight, it's better find one of the many small restaurants nearby to eat.

Love this hotel and its staff. Great location from which to start your Paris adventures. Concierge lounge provides a really nice place to start off with a good breakfast, although we heard the restaurant was extremely good as well and offered a lot more choice. We liked the price in the lounge too though (free). We walked everywhere soothe location was perfect… Only a few kilometers to everything we wanted to visit. The staff was extremely friendly and engaging and the room was perfect. Ours looked out onto the street.

My favorite restaurant in Paris. The service is really exquisit, the waiters really know what they serve and give you the specials as if they were selling you art. The decor is fabulous. Very wide, luxurious but not pretentious.
