Despite the friendly and welcoming staff, the hotel was not to our taste. We found it neglected, a bit dirty and the laundry service listed on the site where we booked did not turn out to be present. They reorder the room every morning but definitely needs a linen renewal (very worn and stained). The neighborhood is well served (and this is a point in its favor), very close to Saint Lazare station. Not far from the montmatre district. For those who have children below I recommend to look for something else, or at least to avoid walking in the night hours.

Hotel chooses for its price (promotional offer) and its location the Deco is dated but good, visible on the photos on the other hand in the rooms some furniture were broken, a hair dryer in the bathroom that dates from the second world war broken too…
And the subway… It is not far… So little far that one hears and the meaning pass: every 10min the Hotel de met a tremble in short, a hotel in Paris 3 stars, but not worth.

Top floor under the roofs, the assessor stops the front floor. For the top floor you have to meander in super narrow hallways. To discover a ridiculous room in the attic with three telecommunication antennas as a neighbour (less than 10m) The breakfast is super expensive.
Short to avoid.

Rooms are old. However location of hotel is ideal.

I put 1 because I can not put 0. Staying at this hotel as part of a pro stay. How to say… the DRC is top but when you go up the floors in my opinion we also change hotel… floor carpet that peels off, wallpaper that peels off, broken wall, cracked ceiling, cracked bathtub. No soundproofing so you hear everything that happens outside the room. Smell of rancid and stale. Bed tops with holes. Worn carpet. Shower Head Full of limestone, light that does not work completely, buzzing and shaking as soon as a subway passes underneath.
Housekeeping BOF BOF (I left hair in the bathtub this morning bah they are still there tonight and yet the person of the household is "passed") not to the electrical standards not to fire standards not to handicapped standards and in my opinion the kitchen is not hygienic standards either.
Staff friendly but not welcoming.
In short when we have more means to maintain a good it is necessary to separate…
Hotel that I do recommend… and in addition we get annoyed by the people who hang around the station is sad anyway…

Old and Dirty Hotel.
Staff with zero empathy. The head of the reception is a superb person who has frightened the rest of employees. Very arrogant and in bad shape.
If you have any food intolerance, don't even think about going. There is no informative sign or expect any help from the staff.

Hotel very simple, but very well located with metro, train to the side. Friendly.

I liked it but the telefonillo sounds a lot and interrupts me sleep at night.

Nice staff. Ordinary breakfast. Good to stay for 3 or 4 days.

Dismal room, sizzling neon, detached wallpaper, bathroom of another age with hoof edtub, scratching blanket, tiny room. It's ugly and yet expensive. To run away.

To avoid. Poorly cleaned and dirty rooms, subway that passes under the hotel and makes the walls tremble. Minimalist decoration see creepy and lower equipment (hair dryer vacuum).
Rooms not soundproof, we can hear perfectly well what is happening at the neighbors!
Bed linen stained with hair and torn. I asked for an extra pillow I was told that there is a quota and that it was not possible to have more than two pillows per room.
Breakfast OK but not at the level of a 3 stars because canned fruit salad and other frozen products poorly presented and with hygienic measures not respected.
I wonder how this hotel can be a 3 star… The staff is not even welcoming!
I even found a camembert left on the windowsill! We could laugh.

Hotel very well situated but the rooms are super left. They gave us a room feisima, super small and with the sagging bed q is not Like someone could sleep there. Yes that's what we said at the reception and we were changed at the time. Went to another room for something better but it's still furniture that neither my grandmother, the closet door broken, a smell of stale tobacco a bit unbearable and that q I am a smoker and that's not what I've smelled in my life (all day cologne in hand), the bathroom old with the dispenser of the gel is broken, the blanket is dirty and viejisima, carpet… puff… the noise of the metro was very strong (less wrong q we got blow outs and once asleep or we enterabamos) but someone q cost to you will be fatal. The bed at least this q gave us x the second time it was comfortable. The breakfast is charged 12 euro x person… let q nor what we think. The good thing is the location q is in the middle of everything and it is easy to visit it all. Tb had Wi-Fi q was going well (at least on the first floor). For those prices I think q at least could put it a little more decent q with 4 nonsense q will do could be a great hotel.

Friendly staff, great price for the area (very close to Saint Lazare station from where you can take many metro lines). The area is a bit poorly kept although it is located very close to elite areas. The rooms are a little small but you sleep well enough. Possibility of bathtub, TV, safe and cleaning services.

Old-fashioned, with the smell going with it. Noise of the Metro deafening all night. By cons sleeping quality, large bathroom… I wouldn't come back what.

Certainly well located, but I wonder how the notion of star is still distributed in France.
The rooms are extremely old-fashioned, and also very worn.
The bedding is really on the edge of the Passable.
No place to even put a laptop PC without having to move Everything.

3 Star Paris Version. 2 everywhere else in France. The rooms are of another age with dingy carpets from the bed tops way Grandma. The armchairs that are rather stylish discourage the most daring to sit so they are Dirty. On the other hand this little old-fashioned aspect has the charm of past years and the very appreciable geographical situation complemented by a pleasant welcome make it a place of passage finally not so bad.

Good location but the furniture etc is way too old. The toilet seat has dents and cracks, and the base has a massive crack that looks like it's going to break any moment.

Located 5 minutes walk from Gare St Lazare train station. Neat hotel & room. Breakfast extra charge 15 euro per pax. Wifi is excellent. Book online to get more than 50% off room rate.

I'm looking for where the 3 stars come from but I can not find always!
To attribute even a small star is to insult the star!

Don't Book This glaucous, and dirty hotel with an old decoration. I Think 3 stars is too much for it. Don't spend your money for.

Hotel at a low price. Good location with a 24-hour front desk. Room looks old but relatively clean. You can hear the Metro from the rooms.

The room is worth only 30 euro per night, dirty and rough, should never be an choice if it cost any price above 30 per night.

The past had to have been a nice hotel but now its years are being felt. Unfortunately we happened at a full time and we had a room that had been attended by someone who smoked and the smell of smoke was left. Few electrical outlets.

Good location, not so good facilities. Bedrooms had almost no natural ventilation, air conditioning was out of order. Price-quality ratio is questionable.

Shabby hotel and I weigh my words. It is simply incredible to attribute 3 stars to this kind of establishment that should not even have one. Deco of sadness and of another era not to mention the many degradation that visibly do not shock the owners. The rooms are dirty, carpets filthy and for the tiny bed I felt like I was in a wagon bed. The bathroom leaves in tatters and what warmth in the room but lucky part you can open the windows and enjoy the soft noise of the ventilation blocks. Let's go to breakfast served in a room where it reigns a temperature close to 30 degrees but fortunately the breakfast is good, and not! It's just a big joke, very few choices, bad pastries and the frozen buns that are served in the canteen in the primary have finished finishing me. Briefly flee this hotel but I would like to point out that the lady of the reception was friendly and that is the only thing to remember from positive.

Grim, grim and grim. Run down cheap hotel in the heart of town. One night was enough. The only positive was the reception staff who were polite and helpful and the Wi-Fi which was excellent.

Just the workers are fine. Lousy (very poor) breakfast charged at 15.00 Eur/day. Old instalations and not good cleaning.

Nice hotel near to st lazare station and gare st lazare. Nice rooms.

Small room but equipped with everything, location a few steps from Metro Saint Lazare where several lines pass. A Stone's throw from the Lovre and convenient for tourists. Every day they change sheets and towels. I didn't take the breakfast so I can't judge it. In any way the place is very recommended.

The rooms have an old curtains to flower and look clearly dated, carpets, wallpaper, yellowed by time. Not always pleasant bath according to the room on the when fall you. Sometimes large and renovated, sometimes tiny and old. 3 stars for this hotel doesn't deserve its status of hotel 3 stars. Placed very close to the train station st Lazare. Food and shopping at the nearby.

A bit shabby hotel. Not very warm.
Wi — Fi does not, satellite TV either.
The bathroom towels are white for a long time and there's hair in the bathtub.
The positives: great location, opposite the station st Lazare, spacious room.

Awful hotel. In room dirty, bath towels, grânaâ from dampness gave putrid smell. Air conditioning did not work.

I cannot speak for the accommodations because I was not the one staying here. My daughter took a trip to Europe and stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. I called the hotel every morning to give her encouraging words to start her day and called her every evening to see how her day went. The staff was so nice, polite, pleasant and kind. They must have had caller ID because by night 3 they automatically knew what room to transfer me to! MERCI, MERCI, MERCI STAFF AT GRAND HOTEL DU HAVRE! You by far were the nicest staff that I dealt with through out her entire trip. Let's just say MADRID, not so nice.

In no case do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel! My daughter and I lived in this hotel in mid-June 2010 (program of the tour we settled back 2 times). For the first time there were small losses, the room was super friendly (although the entire hotel recommends itself as a non-smoker, a pair of cigarette butts still fell somewhere, when we removed the blankets with beds), but the smell of tobacco mainly weathered the next day. During the second arrival and we had a room with a creepy stinking beds (sharp chemical smell, similar to the smell of paint or varnish went from mattresses). Don't know why they are so treated (may, from bedbugs!? ), but my daughter does not transfer the smell of chemicals, it is wrong, break the head, eyes streaming, etc. Of Course, the reception told that the hotel is full, there are no rooms, and offered sprinkle освежителем (! ). It was 10 PM, nowhere to go, in the neighbouring hotels, too, was not of rooms (we agreed to all), so, after a couple of hours, we had to return. As a result, we put blankets on the floor, placed the bag under the head, were covered with jackets and went to the open window. So we spent 2 nights. Paris itself and the Chateaux of the Loire hooked, tour guide was awesome, but the hotel is a NIGHTMARE! And if came allergies? AND NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS! AS IF THE WAY TO GO! JUST SHRUG THEIR SHOULDERS!
