The hotel ruined my trip. They caused me to have a horrible rash, similar to a poison ivy rash, with their twice daily in room deodorizer sprays causing my face to swell and be incredibly painful and itchy for a week and a half… ie, my entire vacation. It didn't click until our second day I found the deodorizer bottle along with the housekeeper's cell phone (which she plugged into our room's outlet to charge and I turned in to the front desk). Look, even if they use crappy deodorizer, I wouldn't blame them much if they used it once before we moved in. But they used it every single time they made the room, twice a day! Why? My wife and I are clean tidy people. We don't have body odor. Then, when I banned them from our room, I found out why. Our room did stink. It was most obvious when we had the a/c off. So this hotel uses harsh chemicals twice daily to cover their stinky rooms. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I do not recommend staying here especially if your skin is at all sensitive.

A very beautiful hotel indeed. Unique location with very tight security. My second time here but still very happy with its breakfast, staff services. Room are very well decorated with lots of arts around the hotel. Great amenities. Can’t go wrong with this hotel.

Very good location near the U. S. Embassy is safe and Hermes is just across the road, a luxury street.

Staff was extremely friendly/helpful, rooms were very clean and located within walking distance to many tourist attractions (louvre, Eiffel tour, etc) — would consider again when visiting Paris.

Just completed our stay at this hotel and we loved it! The location was great, the staff was super nice and breakfast was delicious! Stephane was so kind and friendly each morning as we had breakfast. We couldn't have been happier with our room and it was exceptionally quiet.

This is a very elegant hotel with excellent service, elegant rooms, and a wonderful location.

Egyptian cotton, helpful and friendly staff, a wonderful concierge, and all within walking distance of several major monuments. I have had nothing but pleasant time here and I would happily come back again. Fun fact: this place used to be a fashion magazine and so many things here are themed in that light.

It’s an elegant luxury hotel. Paris luxury hotels are generally excellent. The room of Sofitel is decent and the bath is big. I enjoyed the stay as the bed is very clean and comfortable! You get what you pay.

Classic in the best area of Paris.

We took advantage of the restaurant and unfortunately we were disappointed. Noisy room, uncomfortable bench and service not up to par (it may be an apprentice) fortunately there is the professionalism of the room manager as well as the reduction of the range that compensates a little.

Amazing Easter weekend, super nice staff, thank you so much for the great time. Walking distance from champs Élysée and great interior design. Will come back!

Clean rooms, centrally located and quiet as in the Countryside. Big Morning Buffet. Stiff atmosphere.

The individual rooms promise the ideal size and are well Furnished. It is within easy walking distance of many Attractions. The hotel staff was always helpful and showed my husband and me the fastest routes to our Destinations. The price is certainly not the cheapest, but the standard is very high.

Warm but discreet, room and bathroom very comfortable; The ones that overlook the street are quiet because of the ban on cars entering. Friendly staff and always ready to make service.

The hotel is great located and the staff is extremely professional. Fantastic breakfast. Very nice decoration of the hotel and the rooms. Very quiet. Bathroom a little small being a suite.

The hotel and staff exceeded customer service. We've stayed at many hotels and this was by far the best place. Would highly recommend for couples. We will come back.

At arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff at the entrance and then the reception. Afterwards, we were introduced to our magnificent suite. Great breakfast and again very warm staff. Greatest tucked in location in the heart and best area of Paris.

Our stay was amazing. We were upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and eager to help us. The hotel has every amenity you could want and the location is one of the best in Paris!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg. So many positives. The location is great — close to many sites and the Metro. The hotel is nice, clean, charming, comfortable, and quiet. We had breakfast in the restaurant every morning and it was excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and even though you are right in the city, it was perfectly quiet at night. Everyone who worked there was nice and happy to assist us with anything, without being pushy. Gerard got us checked in and he was so nice and helpful throughout our stay. He was so great and very good at his job. We cannot wait to return.

I stay at Sofitels wherever I can due to their consistent high quality, sophistication and great service — this one was no different. It's in a great location and a historical building, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here.

I haven't felt any safer in Europe more than this hotel and street is quiet and calm while it is not so far from the busy streets. The staff above are so friendly and polite and seeks to help before you know it. House keeping and the handy man was so quick and efficient. Bless you all.

What a fantastic place! The staff was amazing and everyone there was super accommodating for us English speakers. Great location, we felt very safe there. The room was comfortable and clean. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious. Love this place.

Great location, close to the Madeleine and Concorde is close to the Metro station. Have a great high-end shopping mall area. To face the Courtyard rooms to ensure you can get a good night's sleep. Has a beautifully decorated, careful and friendly staff. Great breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days, enjoyed the stay. Rooms of Paris, very luxury bathroom. All in all, decoration and atmosphere of the hotel makes me feel comfortable and warm, delicate mystery. Breakfast is super delicious. Hotel balconies were enjoyed by people in the courtyard here — — even if it's just to drink a cup of tea in the afternoon. Location is the best, it is suitable for commercial activities, cultural tourism or shopping. But during my stay there was not very good: at the Hotel de Crillon renovation, decoration of the noise, I was like.

Very comfortable hotel. Situated on a private road (guarded by armed police) this hotel offers a peaceful retreat only a minute from Place de Concord and 4 minutes from Madalein. The rooms up on the top floors offer a view of the sky and courtyard below which is magical. I love staying here.

My wife and I just returned from a great trip to Europe and stayed at the Hotel Sofitel Paris for 5 nights. We had a great time. The hotel was awesome and the staff was very friendly. The room was very nice and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Hotel SUuperbe 5 stars in the heart of Paris just next door of the Scout and the Budha Bar, with friendly staff, a great leader (Yannick Alléno) and rooms renovated by Didier Gomez, which combines the intimate side of spaces with winks to the fashion and film.

The safest and friendliest hotel in Paris. Had a lovely stay there after cycling the Avenue Verte from London. Definitely need to return soon. The hotel staff work hard to make your stay enjoyable and your every need catered for, they even looked after our bikes impeccably.

They had me waiting for 6 hours to check into a previously booked room. Their airport pickup damaged my bag.

We stayed here for our 10th Anniversary in late March 2013 and recommend it highly. The location is perfect for sightseeing as it is walking distance to many of the most popular monuments. It is in the heart of the St. Honore Fashion District right next to the American Embassy and Concord Square with the Metro close by. We had a Luxury Room which was much larger than expected at over 300 sq ft. With plenty of wardrobe space and a large marble bathroom with soaking tub and shower. The service was impeccable from the housekeeping staff to our Guest Services Manager, Peggy. The Concierges enhanced our stay with their extremely helpful and professional suggestions and service.

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel in the summer. The room was bright, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly, professional and eager to help. The location was excellent for us as we were only in Paris for a few days and were trying to fit a lot of activities into a short amount of time.

Top Quality Hotel. This is my preferred hotel when visiting Paris. Room sizes are "Paris Size" which means that they are relatively small but they are well equipped and beautifully decorated. Location is great, at the foot of the Champs Elysees and Rivoli and nearby Opera and Lafayette/Printemps. Service is excellent and the street in front of the hotel is quiet and calm. I am not a frequent user of hotel restaurants in general so I have no real opinion on anything outside the breakfast and the bar at the hotel which are both very good. For restaurants there is an abundant choice in the neigbourhood around the hotel. This is a definitive 5 star hotel.
