Clean, really nice, 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, 2 minute walk to champs elysees, and the staff is really nice and helpful if you have any questions on how to get around, etc!

We really enjoyed our stay. The suites are large and quiet. The customer service was outstanding and the view of the Arc de Triomphe is a bonus!

There's so much to say, so I'll try to keep it short. Let's start with the rooms. Please, my fellow Americans, keep in mind this is a European hotel that has been in operation since 1928. Yes, some of the rooms are small. I shared a 2 bed room with my mother. More than once, my toes would hit her suitcase when it laid on the floor. However the bathrooms are quite large. They are updated as well. You have a large vanity, bathtub, rain shower head, toilet, and of course your bidet (it wouldn't be France without that). Location is the best I've ever had! Not only are you less than a block away from a National treasure and monument (L'Arc de Triomphe), one of the premier shopping destinations in this city is literally a block away, you're also steps away from a metro station where 4 different lines stop to transfer. Bonus tip: I highly recommend Café de Paris for dinner (right across the street). The food is to die for, our server spoke English, and they are accustomed to American eating habits (get in/ get out). The food at the hotel is also wonderful. We had the Breakfast buffet included in the stay. Totally worth it, but it could be pricey if not included in the bill. Last, the staff. They went above and beyond for us. Somehow I had a lot of bad luck on this trip, but thanks to their help, I felt like I never had to worry. There was one day I stumbled and fell at the Gardens of Versailles.

I have read some comments to this hotel and appreciate the improvements they made in the past several months. If you would like to stay at some place with a little bit historical and cultural atmosphere, this hotel is a good choice in the heart of Paris.

Nice rooms generally, but some are awfully small. Service is fine, but room readiness is a toss up. Location is excellent.

I must admit that this review is well overdue. My wife and I booked a "big birthday" trip to Paris and planned on walking all over the city and experiencing the wonders of the city in mid — January 2018. We arrived to the city jet lagged and exhausted and had no formal plans made except for a few days in Reims to drink champagne. The staff at the Napoleon seemed to understand that we wanted to see the city from the perspective of day tripping locals and at our every request sent us out to explore the city either on wonderful (with super accurate directions) day trips or amazing restaurants & bistros that otherwise we would have never found on our own. Carlos Conesa, the assistant chef concierge, and Gerrard at the front of the hotel were especially helpful every time we asked. They helped make all the needed reservations and gave us some great suggestions depending on what our mood was for the day. They truly made our trip effortless. It was an amazing trip and we highly recommend the Hotel Napoleon when travelling through Paris. Thanks again Hotel Napoleon! You've helped create some incredible memories…

For a starry hotel, RI Find the service really RAS of the paquerettes. The service is at the head of the customer. I will not invite my clients.

There is an underground car park across the street. There is always room. Its high price is for something. But what else can be done? … Park on the surface? Yes, there is room in the evenings and on weekends, but the enforcement agents are circling the horses of the milk cows. Don't forget to affix your ticket visibly.

Was in this hotel in December, the room was improved but could not sleep, the noise was like this all night from the nearby roadway, went to wash my hands in the toilet near the reception toilet dirty paper to wipe his hands no, no more there is no foot.

It’s a nice hotel. The rooms are medium sized but the price is justified by its closeness to the Arc and the Champs Elysees. There are spiders everywhere though, in the chandeliers, under the beds. So get a bottle of raid on the way here. Also the price of Wi-Fi is ridiculous. $20 a day for Wi-Fi that you’re going to be using 1 or 2 hours per day.

I was there for a professional conference and I was well received. The place and beautiful is well maintained.

My father lost $20, 000 cash in the Hotel room last week, I been calling the Hotel manager for last few days, no one care this issue. How did they get a 5 star?

To say that this hotel holds a 5 star rating, would be an insult to actual 5 star hotels that DESERERVE their rating. This hotel is a complete catfish… looking completely different in person that it does on the internet. The second we arrived, we felt the dinging ambiance, which was very unwelcoming. We were staying in a 2 room suit, which had an unpromising view of the street, instead of its proclaimed "arc de triumph". The rooms were very outdated, and our room smelt like a rooting corpse. We requested it t be fixed, and the hotel made little effort to comply. Another negative was the Wi-Fi. They clearly do not feel for tourists who are not able to use their devices without Wi-Fi. Instead, they see an opportunity to rob the customer for basic necessities. I do not know anyone who would pay 20$ for one day on Wi-Fi, when they would be out all day. A complete Bullshit excuse to take advantage of tourists. Especially for the high price that we pay to stay their. I would highly recommend NOT staying here. You are better off staying at the hyatt, where your stay is valued, and the Wi-Fi is free. However, the only positive was the location. The hotel is in downtown paris, which makes it very convenient to go everywhere!

Beautiful place. Just it needs to service their furniture some doors give noise like you are entering a haunted house. As heard in the movies.

The Hotel is wonderful. Nice, modern, with a good room service. Insides design is original and awesome. By the way the hotel is located in the center. It's very convenient. Shops, restaurants, night clubs, bars etc. Are close to the Hotel.

We stopped through Paris from Cannes to London and loved staying at this hotel. The staff was super friendly. The rooms were a bit small but nice. The location was perfect for walking to all the major attractions.

Fantastic Hotel at 1 minute from the Arc de Triomphe, availability and courtesy. Superb.

It's location is probably the main reason why you consider this hotel. During our 5 days stay: 1. The concierge told us the wrong direction towards a car rental place. 2. Even with "do not disturb" sign clearly shown, their housekeeping still entered our room. 3. Before we went our in the morning, we told the front desk in person that our minibar fridge is not working and we were promised a check up by someone but when we returned in the evening the fridge was still not working and there was no message left so I had to go ask the front desk and was told the fridge was reported "fixed" by their technician.

This hotel is located in a prime (primeX3) location in Paris, very closed to the arc de triomphe. Actually it is the closest hotel to the arc de triomphe, few steps and your are there. The hotel is historical building with beautiful history you should read when you are there. The service is wonderful including the reception and all the team. Breakfast was very good.

Need to thank, this is a comfortable and stylish hotel, location very good, restaurant is also very good, but a little expensive. The staff were excellent, very helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. The need to improve is the curfew time for the customer to provide services (such as free Breakfast, or restaurant food), so we don't have to go out to eat, TV to choose the channel too small, the receptionist did not let us know give us a Smoking room.

We were in paris for 4 nights in December my wife even and our 10 year old daughter. I had taken care to book a junior suite avenue with views of the arc de triomphe and the eiffel tower and the reservation service was promised a room on the 7th floor. Upon arrival I fell on a receptionist bute struck me explained cynically that I had a room on the 3rd floor and no view on what anyone wearing proudly a booking or it had been adds way unfair "according to availability. He explained that he had only one room with such a view and that it was a take it or leave. It took a 30 minute very unpleasant discussion and the intervention of ines of the service public relations to calm the situation no choice but to accept. The original avenue suite junior had therefore no view and more no separation between parents and children. So nothing of a suite. The rest of the staff and the stay was OK nothing more and not at the height of a 5 star 2000 euro for 4 nights without breakfast. He left paris, and a fantastic location star charles of gaulle to make the stay wonderful. I recommend to choose another hotel more honest and more outgoing.

My Girlfriend and I stayed in Hotel Napoleon to jointly celebrate our birthdays. It was my first time in Paris and Hotel Napoleon managed to blow me away. The service, quality of the rooms was just great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone else. It's literally a stones-throw from the Arc de Triomphe and great metro links into the city.

Stayed here 24OCT2014 — 27OCT2014. Fantastic location, wonderful, professional and helpful staff. Really a great experience. The only negative was the cost of the "continental" breakfast. It was my fault to have not checked the price ahead of time, but who on earth could have imagined that a breakfast of juice, coffee or tea and breakfast pastries would cost 19 euro PER PERSON! One day we had a cup of coffee, a cup of tea, a croissant and a piece of toast. Cost? 38 EURO! Almost $50! I felt terribly ripped-off, but rushed out at check-out and didn't reflect on it until after I was gone. I definitely would have said something otherwise. Live and learn. I would stay there again, but I would not eat breakfast there.

They are really so pro, and friendly I faced a problem in my reservation but they fixed it in blink of eye just to reached customer satisfaction and they got it, I have a good experince with them and I would love to visit them every time I get to paris — Thanks for all of them one by one.

My husband and I stayed there for three nights during the Air France strike. Air France cancelled our tickets between Paris and Nice one day before our departure. On top of all that, my luggage from Air Canada did not arrive until two days later. I would like to mention a couple of individuals that helped us through our ordeal with the two irresponsible airlines. First of all, Alain F. From Concierge was a great help all the way, from monitoring my luggage from AC to rebooking train and plane tickets within two hours AF cancelled our booking. Alain was on top of everything, my sincere thanks to him. Carols was extremely helpful as well. A big "Thank You" to the Restaurant supervisor from Quebec, whom we enjoyed our best tasting croissants in the world! Friendly staff from the front desk to housekeeping were a plus as well. This hotel is centrally located where all the famous sites and everything was within walking distance along Champs-elysees and steps from Arc de Triomphe. I highly recommend Hotel Napoleon Paris to travellers that are looking for convenience, comfort, and great hospitality. We would definitely stay there again next time.

A week's stay combining business and first trip to Paris in Sept 2014 was made very special by the Hotel Napoleon and the staff. Attentive, helpful, bilingual, and delightful to work with throughout the hotel. Location can't be beat just off the Arc de Triomphe and a Metro stop less than 100m away.
