Welcoming, warm and professional staff.

We are a couple with a 5 year old child as we clearly mentioned om the reservation before wr came here. We were accommodated in the room 211. The room is exactly on top of the terrace where they organised an event without even telling us! They only had to do one thing. To call us and suggest to move on a different floor, in the morning. We came now in the room and the noise is unbelievable. My wife is trying to put him to sleep so evidently we cannot move now as it will take 40 minutes. Why did they give us this room if they knew they will have an event generating huge noise? Why they did not call is today to mention the event and suggest in the morning tk change the room? Why is this manager of the hotel still hired and not fired immediately? How come they gave us the room in the first place if they knew they will have an event this late on the next day?!?!?!?! Why are the event people allowed to stay in the terrace to disturb the guests when they can simply organise inside without disturbing anybody?!?!?!? Worst management I ever saw in my life. This should be a 2 star hotel and the general manager should be fired immediately for making these basic mistakes. Extremely bad stay and bad experience. Do not use as a family choice. Stay away. I have videos where you csn actually hear inside the room how big the noise is. I documented everything.

The hotel itself was great, very neat and tidy. Upon leaving for the airport the “taxi” the hotel called for me tried to charge me 60 euro to go to CDG instead of the 50 flat charge I read everywhere online. I argued with him for over 5 mins but due to his broken English and me running out of time to catch my flight I gave up and paid him the 60. After getting off I realised the car wasn’t even a “taxi” as it didn’t have the taxi signage on top. I’m assuming some private car. … Please train your reception to call for a taxi when the guest asks for a “taxi”, instead of some dodgy unmarked car that no doubt will try to rip the unsuspecting customer off. He even mentioned something about hotel getting a commission too (could have misunderstood he couldn’t speak much English) which leaves a pretty unsavoury taste in my mouth to an otherwise pleasant stay.

Amazing stay. Staff member Yulia gave first class service pre booking. Hotel went above and beyond to make this an incredible experience.

Pros: bed was comfortable. Location of the hotel is great if your looking to hit up all the big tourist spots in Paris, very close to everything. Rooms were quiet and clean. Cons: if your tall (I’m 6”4’) the shower will not fit. My head was literally on the ceiling. That being said the whole room was pretty basic, not really wha we expected from a high end hotel. One of the concierge was not super helpful when we first arrived. Walked us to the elevator and let us go alone, again not expected from a high end hotel. Most other staff was good though. The TV in the room was horrible it had a good selection of free movies but it would jump, freeze and completely cutout all the time. In short if you can get a good price on this place and want something close to everything then it will be an alright option. But definitely not as nice as advertised. It’s a basic hotel with a fancy restaurant attached. If your tall find a place with a shower that fits.

A great hotel, opened 7 years ago within walking distance of the Champs-Elysees with the design of the famous Belgian Martin Margiela. A nice cigar lounge with soft sofas and great air conditioning. Unusual design of a large room of two rooms with a library in the bedroom and a painted pseudo-fireplace and columns from Margela. Toilet-magazine library and the atmosphere of an alternative salon. A comfortable wide bed and original chairs in the living room.

Had a werk stay in this hotel. Very good location. Short walking distance to champs elysess and other attractions. Room was great and clean. The room was facing back alley. Service was good and attentive. All staff were friendly. This is an spg member hotel but unfortunately the point reward was not that attractive. For spg id recommend to stay at the W or westin to maximise their points.

Hotel rooms are nice and comfy. Bed is great but bathroom shower leaves a lot to be desired. Half glass enclosure allows water to spray all over the room. Staff is friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for sightseeing and meals.

Incredible service! The staff made us feel so welcome and special every day. We had no issue stopping and chatting with the very kind concierge staff. They went above and beyond to provide advise for the city, and gifts delivered to our room for our wedding. The service alone is worth every dollar we spent, and then some.

Really amazing hotel with great rooms and amazing comfortable beds. Restaurant is a little expensive and rooms make up for it. Great location and 5 mins walk from everything. Had a Chanel party in the hotel when we stay and was quiet.

Selected this hotel as I am SPG gold and and was not disappointed, location is great to walk to all the tourist locations. The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to engage as I was on my own and were very keen to help in any way they could. I could not fault my stay but as I stayed Sunday and Monday nights I could not try the restaurant.

The smoking room was closed, but we were driven to the terrace with blankets where I could enjoy my cigar.

Location is great, staff is super nice. Rooms felt old with new furniture, don't know if it's artistic intentions but It feels cheap.

Sleek modern hotel. Not my favorite location but certainly central to many tourist attractions. One downside is that even the rooms look amazing there are no outlets except one in the bathroom.

If you are ok with a 100% lack of color then this is the place for you… only white and black here. The rooms are "designed" as if you are entering a disused attic. The tables, chairs lamps ect are covered in white sheet (Romanticising dust covers? ) the bath tub takes longer to fill than you would sit in it. 2 free coffee pods per total stay… then you pay. What else to expect from "starwood" property. If I knew this was a SW hotel I would have skipped it.

Very friendly staff which is unusual as most 5 date places look down upon you. The room was spacious and clean. I’m particular about bathrooms and it was perfect. The location can’t be beat and so close to the Franklin Roosevelt Metro station. Easy walking to all the boutiques which is good when you have to carry all the heavy bags. Daily complimentary water. The concierge was very helpful booking restaurants. This is now my go to hotel for Paris and I’ve been visiting for 20 years. This is an authentic review as well — I’m an Australian Vietnamese. I think it has the perfect combination of price point, service, location and clean, spacious rooms.

Very nice and helpful, lounge and suite very classy and sober, small table in the garden is beautiful and very good.

Good location, smooth room design, although the room is small but moving lines and the feeling of use is very good, with coffee machine and top-grade tea, two bottles of water a day, as SPG Platinum Membership came here with no special privileges (extra €25 for breakfast) but I still give them a five-star praise, the room is bright light!

Excellent location with first class service. Staff are attentive but discreet. Yes it costs a little more, but you really do get what you pay for.

Great hotel with a fantastic location. Very quiet even though you're in the centre of the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This is our third stay and will come back again.

Rooms were decent size and very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable! The hotel staff is really what gets this 5 stars though. They were extremely helpful in allowing me to stay an extra night (in the same room! ), printing train tickets, and even sending up complimentary champange after I explained that I had just gotten engaged and wanted to extend my stay! Overall great experience and even better — never heard a peep from any neighbors the whole time.

This hotel should by no means be classified as an SPG category 6 hotel. We are platinum members at SPG and normally stay at the W Paris or Dokhan Paris but wanted to try a new part of town. We booked for 2 nights here (March 31st — April 2nd). We walked in and the lobby looked very shabby but we figured, being a Design Hotel, the rooms would be better. When I walked into the room the room was very tiny, with small windows that overlooked a car park. There was dirty carpetin…g on the floor and the bathroom was a handicapped bathroom. I went back down to the front desk to ask for a change of rooms as handicapped bathrooms generally end up being wet rooms. The receptionist was extremely rude and would not change our room. She told us that if we wanted to change rooms we had to upgrade to a suite at an extra 300EUR per night. I called the SPG platinum hotline and the woman I spoke to could not have been more helpful. She rang the hotel, found that they were being unreasonable, and moved us to Le Dokhan that same night without penalty. She ensured us that she would follow up with senior management as the hotel should not be in the state it is in and should treat guests much better. For a perfect Parisian experience, hope a cab straight to Le Dokhan. It has one of the oldest champagne bars in Paris, has a roaring fire in the lobby and is 5 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower! Plus, your SPG status actually means something there!.

Two days of happiness! Great room and a nice staff! A memory engraved forever… We hope to return…

Disappointing for a 5 star… We stayed 4 days without TV, more imperfections in service and services.

I still remember the special customized designed atmosphere room fragrance uplifting everywhere in the hotel.

The rooms were okay; I loved the bidet feature of the toilet but there was no bathtub. The breakfast buffet was the best feature. It's a nice clean hotel overpriced for what it has to offer.

We had a Junior Suite on the first floor, room 115. Room was a good size with modern decor. Mini bar selection had an acceptable range and was kept well stocked. Bed was very soft which I found very comfortable, however if you prefer a firm mattress the beds may not be for you. The corridors in the Hotel are rather quirky. Floors, walls and ceilings all black with only very faint light guiding the path and no external windows. Staff were extemely polite and helpful. Always happy to answer questions and deliver requests. Hotel is in a good location. A short 4 minute walk to the nearest metro station off a quiet side road Rue Jean Goujon.

Very well located Hotel, in a calm and nice street, with some options of restaurants around — next to Champs Elysees, close to Eifel Tower — 10 min, walking. Nice room, confortable bed, nice shower (one of the best in Paris), excelent breakfast, with an excelent expresso and salmon for every day — nice options of cheese. We certainly would come back to stay there again. Nice and smiling people working in the reception, cleaning and at the breakfast — we liked a lot the crew, with many tips about Paris and always trying to help us.

It's kind of a stylish hotel, with detail issues. Renovation needed in some places bathroom, staircase. Etc. I personally got warm welcome but the heater is not working! In my upgraded (for free) room. Now I got a mobile electric heater very luxurious. comparing with other hotels in that area I wouldn't stay again here.

Great place! Rooms accessible for wheelchairs, although you will find a small step at the entrance.

Former cultural or any place the Parisian press had to navigate a hotbed of ideas and debates, today this place to gives way to a very luxurious cold and soulless, which is also in receivership since February 2013.
To believe that the way in which the owners themselves are "RID" of all the former staff of the press Club of France don't them not brought happiness.

It is very beautiful and there is a wide variety of shops. It is near the center of paris so we easily spend after a beautiful sightseeing. Now there are a lot of tourist and so the trader are not super nice. This is a place to go if you want to go shopping.

Not a 5 star as "advertise".
